I'm not a Student of Adams but I think this is a very good description of levels of attainment within Tai Chi, and I like his inclusion of Yi Jin Jing ( muscle/tendon change classic) as part of his internal system development. He seems to touch up the Marrow Change Classic too in the 6 level. I've not heard of Iron Buddha aspects within Tai Chi, only in traditional Shaolin Arts ( which I learnt in the 80s along with elements of the two classics, although I profess to no grear expertise in them but it did help me qualify as a Yoga Instructor amoung other things). As I understand from my Teacher Bruce Frantzis though ( he and Sifu Sergio are my present Teachers) arts attributed usually to Bodhidharma ( that is these 2 classics, as he was/is both First Patriarch of Zen Buddhism and Shaolin) are Taoist in origin, and existed pre the legend or historical fact of Bodhidharmas existence. Certainly the levels of training from skin to Marrow I encountered in training in Zen Buddhism in London in 1980s, which is a v nice way of delineating a system regardless of the origins of the original material 😊🙏
