Thanks for the feature! This is such an interesting franchise to rank it seems like everyone has such different opinions on them. Shows how well they keep their fanbase happy.
1. Scream (1996) 2. Scream 3 3. Scream 2 4. Scream VI 5. Scream (2022) 6. Scream 4 I also want to point out there's not a Scream movie I DON'T like. I love them all. Just some more than others. And I've seen Scream 6 twice now, and the placement of it can easily shift.
From best to good: 1. Scream 2 (Did everything what the original did but better imo) 2. Scream (Classic) 3. Scream 5 (Great legacy sequel) 4. Scream 6 (Almost perfect til the 3rd act with its plot holes and plot armor) 5. Scream 4 (Way ahead of its time and has my favorite killer reveal, Jill) 6. Scream 3 (The funniest; Parker Posey is comedic gold, most entertaining entry, and has my favorite Sidney character arc)

I'm so happy you gave it another chance. Also liked that you admitted that your mood might have effected your opinion. I was so excited for It: Chapter One but was tired plus had a headache my first watch and was let down. When I seen it in a better mood I loved it. Mood really does effect movie watches.
That score “Two Subways” during the subway “now you see me, now you don’t” sequence is so eerie. Glad you came around to the movie, brother. Mood can definitely affect my initial viewing & rating - I was in a strange mood when I first saw it/ was tired/ anxious coupled with months of anticipation.. but then I watched it with fresh eyes & just love it.
I believe Sydney’s professor in Scream 2 (David Warner) was originally cast as Freddy Krueger but dropped out last minute due to a scheduling conflict. You can find images of him in test makeup or a silicon mask made for him during preproduction.
I didn’t have 6 spoiled, so I was genuinely (sorta) surprised at the end. The fact that people survived what should have been absolute death did kind of take me out of it, but it’s still in my top 3 now. 1, 4, 6, 5, 2, 3
Scream 1 will always be my favorite. The opening alone just has that much power over the entire movie. Scream 6 - I've not had this much fun at a slasher film in a long time. I ate up so many Easter eggs. And it was scary. Scream 2 - very dark and a great sequel. Some extremely intense scenes. Derek is my biggest problem lol. Scream 4 - great return to form, despite the lense glare. I adore sidney and actually grew to love the killer reveals. Kirby grew on me a lot too. Scream 3 - one of my favorite mysteries of the bunch. Parker Posey steals the show. I love the purplish and blue color tones too. Scream 5 - a fantastic sequel honoring Wes Craven. It doesn't mean I don't like it because it's ranked last. Every Scream movie is solid. I just felt 5 was a safe, too safe? of a movie.
I'll tell you what, Scream 2 does have it's faults... but I had so much fun watching it in theater on opening night, that it will always have a special place in my heart.
The original is the only one I never saw in the theater. I remember like yesterday I was 16 years old and begged to go. That summer, I called every video store to rent it. Saw it 3 times. Loved it and hold the franchise dear to my heart. My ranking is 1. Scream 96 2. Scream 3-Neve saves the movie for me 3. Scream 2 4. Scream 6 5. Scream 5 6. Scream 4 it does grow on me with each viewing, I just cant get past the filter...why did that do that? lol
This is my favorite horror franchise, they’re all so fun & entertaining. 1. Scream ‘96- my #2 overall horror film ever, a masterpiece. 2. Scream 2- doubled up on the carnage & fun 3. Scream 6- 3rd act has its flaws but overall relentless suspense & brutality 4. Scream 4- grew on me the most over time. Love the 3rd act 5. Scream 5- A great return after a decade & entry for new characters 6. Scream 3- Super nostalgic, by far the most campy. Great reveal too
Great reveal? The same reveal as most of this franchise "oh it's another family member with links to previous Ghostfaces". I got fed up with the franchise by 3 as the reveals were becoming predictable. SCREAM 7 - the reveal a family member related to the killers of the 6th film or another new unknown family member from one of the previous killers or the original - which nobody knew about. Lol.
@@zackzaharko89 oh boy a tetchy fan....... I was actually curious and interested about Scream 6 and to see if the franchise had actually moved on from 3 and gone a different direction but alas it's still the same... Everybody is entitled to their own opinions of a film.
Nice ranking Lee! I need to see Scream 6 a couple of more times, and then I'll be able to properly rank it, but at the moment it's not too high on my list despite some great elements. 1 and 2 are definitely the top, often interchangeable for me. Scream 3 is pretty bad at times, and has a Gale that feels like Monica Gellar 50% of the time... but, it has terrific Sidney scenes when she's on her own, and has that terrific set chase sequence. Scream 4 is like 60% bad, 20% great and 20% decent, but I find it more frustrating than even Scream 3. That Olivia kill is epic though! Scream 5 is almost completely bland and boring to me, but the FX are amazing, and it was fun being at Stu's house again, even if it was a set. Scream 6 is very frustrating, because some of it is so cheesy melodramatic with oddly placed pop music, with some awful acting at times and plot holes galore, but it tries to do something new in the opening, has excellent FX again, and a really good Ghostface in the costume. I also loved the shrine location, though it was too on the nose for all of the items to have been from the crime scenes. At the moment I think I'd rank them like this: 1. Scream (Mid section is a little bland) 2. Scream 2 (Sorority house attack on Sid was a weak point. Mickey? (Stall kill unrealistic). 3. Scream 3 (I know, but it's partially based on nostalgia, it being shot on 35mm, great Sid scenes, decent opening etc. It needs a re-edit, less stupidity, better Gale, and better ending). 4. Scream 6 (Needs better pacing, better score, less goofy acting, better writing and far less plot armor). 5. Scream 4 (There's some excellence here, but a ton of boring blandness and dumb humor. Horrible reveal as well, despite the great self mutilation sequence). 6. Scream 5 (Amazing knife FX, Stu's house, and that's about all the good to me. Decent Dewey).
I can’t understand how 6 isn’t last on everyone’s list haha. But that’s the thing about ranking this franchise - it’s usually 1 & 2 at the top, then it’s just wide open after those two.
How many times have you watched it Michael? The second time really hit for me. It’s got some stupid shit in it for sure, but most of the scream movies do.
To me its 1,2,4,5,6,3. While I would agree 6 is the most like a popcorn movie, that is what also holds it back. At their core, the scream films are slashers first, with a healthy dose of a whodunit second, and whodunits need a tight script to work properly. 6 had too many holes and contrivances to place it any higher on my list. To me it felt like some of the newer marvel movies. Like we have a cool set piece in mind, how do we manipulate the story to fit it? Instead of the overall story is set, how do we make good set pieces that actually make logical sense within the story we are trying to tell? But thats just my 2 cents. PS I have some other thoughts coming in a separate post since this one was getting a little long...
You make some great points! The marvel comparison was spot on. The movie was a major disappointment. And I agree, script needed to be better. Felt like a first draft.
Great, Troy. I think every scream movie offer something different to the audience. Scream three is pure camp. The first screen is your straight up slasher. Scream six is fun popcorn.
At this point, I'd rank the films as 1, 2, 5, 6, 4 and 3. That said, there is a lot of merit for every film across the board. Heck, I had 6 ahead of 5 on first watch and have a feeling they may flip-flop with time. I naturally think if 3 hadn't been impacted by real world controversies while in development, it might have been better but at the same time, it was sending a loud and clear message that has resonated. As for 2, people cite Derek's cafeteria scene as embarrassing but I'll take that over Randy's egregious Aliens misquote. Love the movie otherwise.
I have watched Scream 6 three times now. So this would be my own Scream ranking 1. Scream 2. Scream 4 3. Scream 2 4. Scream 5 5. Scream 6 6. Scream 3 I love them all differently, low rank doesn't mean I hate any of them. They're all great in their own way ☺️
Scream '96 and Psycho were what got me into horror. I love the mix of slasher and murder mystery that it has, and the fact that anyone can be a suspect. It's just so fun. 2 isn't bad, I really was left cold by 3. I need to watch 4, 5, and 6 at some point. They sound better than they looked when I saw the trailers.
My favorite part about the Wes Cravin Scream movies is every little thing makes sense! On rewatch it’s like the little details are well thought out and planned.. The Radio silence movies are good they just don’t seem to be as well thought out!
I can’t think of any plot holes in 5 off the top of my head. To be fair, I only watched it once because Dewie dying was too much for me 😭😭😭. Six had quite a few head scratchers though. I think they rushed the movie. If they had just taken a little more time to tighten up the script, it would have been near perfect IMO. They’re both solid films though
1. Scream ( My Favourite ever movie) 2. Scream 2 ( I love this to death!! ) 3. Scream 3 ( Grew up with this one) 4. Scream 6 ( Surprisingly enjoyed it ) 5. Scream 4 ( Didn’t feel like scream ) 6. Scream 5 ( RIP DEWEY ) Scream is my all time favourite horror franchise! None of these movies are bad in my opinion, Rip Wes Craven
my ranking 1. Scream (or course) 2. Scream 5 3. Scream 6 4. Scream 3 (actually moved up quite a few spots) 5. Scream 4 6. Scream 2 (here come the pitch forks) note i love all these movies so two being in last isn't a knock. its just the slowest imo
Sidney Prescott will always be my favorite Scream character, but I definitely liked Tara more than Gale. Gale has always been my least favorite og, with Dewy at #2
Great video dude! I love every installment! My list would be: 6. Scream 5 5. Scream 2 4. Scream 4 3. Scream 6 (Only seen it once so this could move) 2. Scream 3 1. Scream 1 A little controversial I know but every installment has something unique and special about it and I also agree with you and many others that there really isn't a bad movie in this series.
Scream 6 was the first time Ghostface legit scared me. One of you mentioned it on the stream the other day: he’s more agile and aggressive, like he could kill any character he encounters. I could never really take “trips over air” Ghostfaces seriously 😂
Here are my top 6 favorite ‘Scream’ movies: 1. 1996’s ‘Scream.’ 2. 2022’s ‘Scream.’ 3. ‘Scream VI.’ 4. ‘Scream IV.’ 5. ‘Scream 2.’ 6. ‘Scream 3.’ Good job on your new video, sir.
1 6 4 5 3 2 like many of other said, I love all of them. 2 just happens to be my least because it loses my attention at times and easily has my least favorite opening scene
1. Scream 1996: it’s always going to be my number one in the series and my favorite horror movie of all time. 2. Scream 2: I love this one as we’ll almost close to the first 3. Scream 6: I’m really impressed with this new one it’s so good yea the ending isn’t the best but the whole movie before that just perfect 4. Scream 2022: it’s a great return after 4, love the new characters that we get, and the killer motives is a really interesting one 5. Scream 4: for the longest time it was my least favorite idk why but recently I’ve gave it a rewatch and loved it because of catching up with our main three since 3 and Jills motive and how ahead of time it was 6. Scream 3: it use to be higher on my list but noticing it’s flaw but I do have to admit there is no bad Scream movie, it just not as good as 1 or 2
My Favorite To Least Favorite: Scream 4, Scream 6, Scream 3, Scream 2, Scream 1, Scream 5. Shocker but I’m somewhat new to this franchise but that’s current my list.
Not that anyone cares, but My list is: 1. Scream 1 2. Scream 2 3. Scream 3 4. Scream 4 5. Scream 6 6. Scream 5 *side note, if I’m being honest I can do without 4-6 entirely.
My ranking changes everytime I watch these movies : 6. Scream 3 5. Scream 2 4. Scream 96 3. Scream 4 2. Scream 5 1. Scream VI Remember it changes all the time 96 doesn't have to be everyone's favourite
You change your stance on movies way too quick, you have said 5 and 4 were your least favorite many times. Now you say scream 3 to appease people. You didnt stick to your true feelings. Im not even calling you out i like your channel but it makes no sense when ive watched all your scream related videos. You have even said the thing people hate about 3 was the comedy but that was what you liked about it. Im just shocked at how many times you and how quickly you change your stances just because you get some backlash. I am hella confused and this aint the only franchise you did this with. I still love your channel. I will continue to support you.
Hey I’m like that with my favorite franchises. I’ve stated it for Scream, Halloween, Rocky, Star Wars. I don’t know man. I get caught up. I love these movies like people. Some days the people in your life piss you off. I don’t know what to tell you. I just don’t see them like other movies.
1. Scream 2. Scream 4 3. Scream 6 4. Scream 2 5. Scream 5 6. Scream 3 Regarding 4, it's just a filter that was added and nothing to do with the cinematography. So if they did a 4K, they could easily remove that filter
For me Scream is a lot like Halloween. I LOVE the first movie of each franchise so much, that all the other movies are just..."good"...I watch them. I enjoy them. But at the end of the day,NONE of them surpass the first movie in their universe...Opposite with the F13th movies. I LOVE the first 5 F13th movies so much I watch them all and cant decide which one I truly like more..Thanks for the video Lee..
The story, of Scream to Scream 2 is a story of lightness to darkness, whose implementation of lightness is a freedom from violence of not being denotative of the philosophical conceptual meaning of lightness (i.e. yin-yang). Scream 3, interestingly, is an encapsulation of the lightness to darkness story angle from the first two movies.
1. Scream 2. Scream 4 3. Scream 6 4. Scream 2 5. Scream 5 6. Scream 3 Happy to say I honestly don’t believe there are any bad scream movies so creating a list can be challenging.
Honestly I think it’s mostly the climax that’s the issue. Rushed to finish and start marketing. Need a more detailed killer reveal done properly for 7. Other than that. I feel Gale was more like the first 2 movies, maybe with Dewey’s death she was bitter. Also already dating a guy? Unless that’s from before.
The reveals are practically nearly the same for all the films - oh it's another family member with a bee in their bonnet lol. I love it when some Scream fans kick off about a reveal - it's been the same "Oh no, gasp shock horror, a family member from one of the Killers" since the original. I switch off by Scream 3 as the reveals were getting predictable and silly. I think there is one film which the killers are not related to and other killers - I vaguely remember somebody saying that.
Could you clarify what you mean by “already dating a guy”? Gale and Dewey had been divorced for several years by the time scream 5 came out-and so have Courtney and David IRL. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with gale dating a guy after the murder of her ex husband whom she has been divorced and not talked to for several years prior to his death
St. Patty's Day is coming right up. Perfect time of year for a Leprechaun ranking video 💰🍀 You have time to screen and analyze 8 movies in the next 3 days, right? I mean you could probably get through the 1st 6 🤷♂️
Good commentary Lee.... SCREAM(1996), changed & revitalized horror, as a whole.... & that opening! My personal fav: Scream 2 -(Operatic nostalgia with the theater opening & stage closing. Scream 3 - just a entertaining movie;despite the "Hollywood" aspect. After that.... Personally, I just outgrew the franchise. Despite that.... I viewed Scream 6 recently & By far the most brutal/scariest Ghostface!!!
I was so sad to hear you didn’t enjoy Scream 6, but it makes me really happy to hear that your thoughts have changed. There is not a single bad movie in this franchise, I love it to death! Every movie has something to offer. I love these new instalments and I think it’s under good hands. You need good writers and directors for these films.
Good writers? The series has had the same plot reveal for practically most of the films - gasp it's a family member of a previous killer or a unknown family member of the original..... I think it's time to shake this franchise up - of course fans will grumble but sometimes change is for the better - with the right writers of course lol
Great list, Lee! Mine is different, but that's cool! I wouldn't say you weren't a real fan or nothing crazy like that.... I enjoyed the Judgment Night scene in Scream VI with the ladder....the rest was not good... just my opinion...
The most annoying thing about Scream 6 is not just its existence but it’s seeing everyone update their rankings of the franchise and they always rank Scream 3 at the bottom. So tired of the hate Scream 3 continues to get. To me it’s one of the most underrated sequels ever and I’m NOT taking it back! That’s why I love and prefer scream as a trilogy because it followed one narrative, Sydney and her mother. The killers and their motives was all based around Sydney’s mother and it came full circle and ended with scream 3. To hell with the rest! MAKE IT STOP PLEASE
6. Scream 3 5. Scream 5 4. Scream 6 3. Scream 4 2. Scream 2 1. Scream I've always liked this franchise, but i'm starting to dig it alot more now. Solid entries and always a fun watch.
I think the only thing I disagree with is I would swap around scream 5 and 4. Scream 5 has grown on me a lot. I also think that between scream 6 in 3rd and scream 2 in 2nd, there is a huge gap. If scream 6 didn’t have the plot armour and an improved final act, it could have been up there, maybe even 2nd place.
Great video Lee! I really love your content man! Here is my ranking: 6. Scream 6. I loved the opening scene and the kills themselves but I hated the the ending, the plot armor and other aspects of the movie that I will go in on the spoiler reviews comment section! However, Sam was good. It’s a 5.5/10 for me. 5. Scream 5. I love the theme of the movie and the new characters were great! However, the killers were my least favourite so far. It’s a 5.8/10 for me. 4. Scream 3. The kills are the worst and the theme is the worst and the Maureen flashbacks are just weird… but I actually like the killer, how effective he is on his own and his motivation. and Sidney is the best in this one. It’s a 7/10 for me. 3. Scream 4. I think it’s a good movie and I liked the Remake theme. This movie is very fun and I really like the reveal of the main killer. However, it did lacked the charm of the first 3 films. It’s a 7.5/10 for me. The next two are both in my top 40. favourite horror movies: 2. Scream. Such a classic and one of the most rewatched movies for me. I like everything about it with the exception of the awful garage kill. The killers are amazing. It’s a 9.5/10 for me. 1. Scream 2. What a great sequel. Loved everything about it! The killers are great and the main 3 protagonists are at the top of their game! It’s a 9.5/10 for me.
Great Video Love these new rankings! 1 - Scream 1 (Will never be beaten) 2 - Scream 6 (Loved the new City much better done than Scream 3 goes to fucking hollywood) 3 - Scream 4 4 - Scream 5 5 - Scream 2 (Dont get the hype was totally flat reveal and was just not a great sequel) 6 - Scream 3 (They say Scream doesn't have a bad movie? There wrong this one is terrible up there with the worst Halloween, F 13th and Nightmare movies)
I'd like to see what u think about this lee, cody leach had a good point! Screams finale is at stus house. Scream 5s finale is also at stus house. Scream 2s finale was at a theater. Scream 6s finale was at a theater. The original ending of Scream 3 was gonna be stu as the killer but got changed cuz of columbine so it became Roman who was just 1 killer in that one. So Scream 7 could have stu back as the single killer and would make since if he said he was the actual one who killed Dewey cuz that small ass girl couldn't have killed him and also the one who attacked gale in Scream 6 couldn't have been the girl killer tht could've also been stu since Dewey and gale are both legacy characters would make total since it being stu. Plus all the hints they've left at stu being alive like on the wall in Scream 6 there's a ? Beside stus picture and wen Kirby and Mindy are talking about the TV that killed stu Mindy says if u believe he's really dead or something like tht!
Before I list my favorite Scream films, I’ll note this, the first Scream is the best movie in the franchise, but I find Scream 6 to be the better slasher. Either way…here we go and I’m ready to be roasted lol Scream 6 Scream Scream 2 Scream 5 Scream 4 Scream 3
Can’t argue with that ranking man. I do hope you come around to Scream 3 a bit more - it’s probably my most rewatched sequel. There’s something about it that just gets better on rewatch, whereas the others are always a bit disappointing. Can’t beat the OG though obviously
Great ranking Lee! I’ve found it very hard to rank this time! But after thinking about it for a few days and seeing scream 6 for a second time it’s currently like this - 1. Scream 2. Scream 6 - when the dust settles I may think differently but for now I’m on a high over this one. 3. Scream 3 - similar to 6, I’m on a high at the moment. During my rewatch of the series I saw this one in a different light and I really really enjoyed it this time. Also Sidney is a total bad ass in the 3rd act. 4. Scream 4 - I don’t love it any less then I ever have. And for a long time it was my number 2. But while I’m buzzing about 3 and ESPECIALLY 6. It’s going to sit here. 5. Scream 2 - again I love it. But I think it’s the one that drags the most in places. Only one to me that actually feels like it’s running time. Some epic scenes but not enough for me to rank it higher. Also that sing song makes me cringe soooooo bad. And so does some of the acting in the 3rd act. 6. Scream 5 - I will admit I don’t hate it as MUCH as before I saw 6. But it still does some things I can’t over look. If it was stu that killed dewy though I will like it even more. But the worse thing is neve looks like she’s doesn’t want to be there and she’s given nothing to do. She doesn’t even kill any ghost face. And Gale and Sidney don’t react to dewys death in the way I would have thought. Gale is a bit sad at first. But then they are cracking jokes the next minute.
Love it, love it, love them ALL. Here's my ranking😅: 1. Scream '96 ( why I'm a horror fan) 2. Scream 3 ( chaotic and fun, and very Scooby Doo ish which I love) 3. Scream 6 ( genuinely scared me, great suspense) 4. Scream 5 ( loved the intro of the new generation) 5. Scream 2 (nice vibe) 6. Scream 4
We have the same ranking, minus switching Scream 4 and Scream 6. Glad you liked Scream 6 more on the second watch! Scream 1/2 will always be top 2 in my rankings.
I do feel that you would still be running for your life if you were stabbed or knifed in the gut because if you're fighting for your life your adrenaline gonna be up and make you do things you couldn't imagine doing. Plus there has been plenty of cases of people being almost gutted and getting away from their attacker
1) Scream = best opening [it's also the scariest], best core group, best killers, best mystery and memorable kills. I can't think of anything to complain about. 2) Scream 4 = it has the second best opening, it introduced one of the best characters [Kirby], it had the third best killer in the series [Jill], and it had some of the goriest kills [Olivia's death was especially gorey]. I didn't find it scary tho, which hurts its ranking. 3) Scream 2 = it has a pretty good opening [it's probably the third best opening of the series], the killers were interesting [Mickey especially], and some of the kills actually made me wince [specifically Cici's death]. What hurts this entry is that while the new characters weren't necessarily bad, they weren't really that interesting to me. 4) Scream 3 = despite her not being in this one for too long, this entry had the best Sidney in my opinion. Roman gets major props for being the only solo killer in the series so far, and that moment when him and Sidney were locking hands was pretty tragic [they kinda ruined it with Roman getting back up but the moment itself was still fine]. This is also the last Scream movie to actually scare me [the scene with Maureen's ghost outside the window still creeps me out]. The main problems with this one, for me, is that most of the kills were pretty lackluster [except for the house explosion. I must be the only person on the planet who likes that kill 😂], most of the new characters weren't that interesting, and this entry had the worst opening. 5) Scream [2022] = I'm not a fan of the actor who plays Sam, I think they could’ve chosen a better pick for the role [or they could've just made Tara the main character]. The killers were fine. At first, I thought they were cringe [Amber still is to a lesser extent] but they grew on me after a few watches. In my opinion, Dewey was at his best in this entry [his death still makes me sad 😢]. Without him, this one would've been ranked lower than Scream 6. 6) Scream 6 = despite having cool stuff like; the store massacre scene, the return of Kirby, the train scene and the callbacks to the other Ghostface killers, the rest of the film is mediocre. The killers were bland and pretty unmemorable, Gale's character regressed [in the last movie, she promised that she wouldn't write a book about Richie and Amber's murder spree but low and behold, she did it anyway and her excuse was that someone else would've done it anyway 😒], characters made stupid decisions that would've gotten them killed if they didn't have plot armour [Gale literally had the perfect survival position in her closet, with a gun pointed towards the only way in, but she decided to leave it for a more open area, where Ghostface would have an easier time getting to her. One of the dumbest decisions ever], most of the acting ranged from bland to serviceable, and I found two of the core characters [Sam and Mindy] to be very annoying.
Awesome Lee. I posted my ranking on FB the night i saw Scream 6. I need to watch it one more time though. For me its: 1.Scream '96 2. Scream 2 (Probably my favorite sequel of the series) 3. Scream 4 4. Scream 3 5. Scream 5 6. Scream 6. While I do like Randy as a character, I would honestly put Kirby and Dewey above him. Love those characters so much.
Scream 3, 4, and 6 takes my number 6,5,4 spot in no particular order because it can change depending on my mood. Scream 3 grew on me, but it still had many problems. Scream 4 was probably the least enjoyable for me because I didn’t care for the new characters. 6 is fine , but the most generic in the bunch. I also can’t get pass the bad writing and cringe throughout the movie. Number 3 is Scream 5 because it’s the most fun for me from beginning to end. Scream 2 is number 2 on my list. The franchise was still new and the sequel still delivered many surprises. Of course number 1 goes to Scream 1. It’s fresh, smart, original, and the movie that started it all. The opening will forever be iconic!
Thanks for the feature! This is such an interesting franchise to rank it seems like everyone has such different opinions on them. Shows how well they keep their fanbase happy.

@@willdallas53 I do not consider Scream 2022 Scream 5, I am waiting till 2030 when Kevin Williamson gets the rights back and gives us a real Scream 5!
I appreciate that Ethan’s costume was from the movie Murder Party.
Ooh that’s cool!
I noticed that too. I wasn't sure or not if that was coincidence or an actual reference.
I'm so happy you gave it another chance. Also liked that you admitted that your mood might have effected your opinion. I was so excited for It: Chapter One but was tired plus had a headache my first watch and was let down. When I seen it in a better mood I loved it. Mood really does effect movie watches.
Yes my mood can easily affect my experience with the movie.
Crazy how much I loved Scream 3. I watch it more than any of the others.
My Scream ranking
1,3,2,4,5,6
Valid
I love that scream three is different than the others.
Ohh finally good taste i like you haha 😄😉
That score “Two Subways” during the subway “now you see me, now you don’t” sequence is so eerie.
Glad you came around to the movie, brother. Mood can definitely affect my initial viewing & rating - I was in a strange mood when I first saw it/ was tired/ anxious coupled with months of anticipation.. but then I watched it with fresh eyes & just love it.
Yes probably one of the creepiest scenes in the entire franchise.
I believe Sydney’s professor in Scream 2 (David Warner) was originally cast as Freddy Krueger but dropped out last minute due to a scheduling conflict. You can find images of him in test makeup or a silicon mask made for him during preproduction.
Dude that’s insane!
I didn’t have 6 spoiled, so I was genuinely (sorta) surprised at the end. The fact that people survived what should have been absolute death did kind of take me out of it, but it’s still in my top 3 now. 1, 4, 6, 5, 2, 3
@@ZombieFarmboy666 our rankings are almost identical
@@veil2612 Keep making videos, man!
@@ZombieFarmboy666 hey, alot of stuff had been going on with my health but i plan on it, thanks for the support
Yes Scream 2 is really fun.
I love the opening of that one. I remember being 14 or 15 watching this in the theater. Good times
Pretty good ranking! For a second I thought scream 6 was gonna be in last place😂
The original is the only one I never saw in the theater. I remember like yesterday I was 16 years old and begged to go.
That summer, I called every video store to rent it. Saw it 3 times. Loved it and hold the franchise dear to my heart. My ranking is
1. Scream 96
2. Scream 3-Neve saves the movie for me
3. Scream 2
4. Scream 6
5. Scream 5
6. Scream 4 it does grow on me with each viewing, I just cant get past the filter...why did that do that? lol
This is my favorite horror franchise, they’re all so fun & entertaining.
1. Scream ‘96- my #2 overall horror film ever, a masterpiece.
2. Scream 2- doubled up on the carnage & fun
3. Scream 6- 3rd act has its flaws but overall relentless suspense & brutality
4. Scream 4- grew on me the most over time. Love the 3rd act
5. Scream 5- A great return after a decade & entry for new characters
Lol.
@@Mark-nh2hs If you got fed up by the 3rd, then why are you wasting time watching Scream videos & scrolling thru comments?
@@zackzaharko89 oh boy a tetchy fan....... I was actually curious and interested about Scream 6 and to see if the franchise had actually moved on from 3 and gone a different direction but alas it's still the same... Everybody is entitled to their own opinions of a film.
Nearly perfect list 10/10
My Scream movie ranking
1. Scream
2. Scream 2
3. Scream 4
4. Scream 6
5. Scream 5
6. Scream 3
I'm glad you came around to scream 6
Calling Scream 6 the biggest popcorn movie of the franchise is so true. I love 2, 4, 6 and IMO those are the most popcorn/fun.
At the moment I think I'd rank them like this:
1. Scream (Mid section is a little bland)
Isn’t last because it was great 😐
Just started watching your channel after Scream 6 came out. Great ranking
Thank you so much Ryan!👏
" I'm something different" 🤣
Resident Evil Extinction deals best with the attitude.
" You're just another assholes who thinks is special".
Yes sir.... appreciate you fam
A great video would be ranking the openings, the reveals, and then the ghostfaces
There are so many great video ideas for this franchise Trina!
I love how Scream 3 basically shits on guys like the Weinsteins... it couldn't be an accident...
So this would be my own Scream ranking
1. Scream
2. Scream 4
3. Scream 2
4. Scream 5
5. Scream 6
6. Scream 3
I love them all differently, low rank doesn't mean I hate any of them. They're all great in their own way ☺️
Scream 3 is Neve’s best performance as Sidney! More people need to acknowledge that.

If there's a Scream 7 wouldn't it be funny if someone looked Ike Lee & they did a RUclips segment ranking their favorite Stab movies?
I’d be down for that.
My favorite part about the Wes Cravin Scream movies is every little thing makes sense! On rewatch it’s like the little details are well thought out and planned.. The Radio silence movies are good they just don’t seem to be as well thought out!
100% the new directors and writers don't pay as much attention to detail.
@@blakefranklin882 Radio Silence is supposedly part of the fandom but get so many basic things any fan would know wrong.
1. Scream ( My Favourite ever movie)
2. Scream 2 ( I love this to death!! )
3. Scream 3 ( Grew up with this one)
4. Scream 6 ( Surprisingly enjoyed it )
5. Scream 4 ( Didn’t feel like scream )

A little controversial I know but every installment has something unique and special about it and I also agree with you and many others that there really isn't a bad movie in this series.
Yes every installment definitely has something you need to offer. That’s what’s so cool about the franchise.
Scream 6 was the first time Ghostface legit scared me. One of you mentioned it on the stream the other day: he’s more agile and aggressive, like he could kill any character he encounters. I could never really take “trips over air” Ghostfaces seriously 😂

3. Scream 2- 1997
4. Scream 6- 2023

6. Scream 4- 2011
1. Scream 1996: it’s always going to be my number one in the series and my favorite horror movie of all time.
2. Scream 2: I love this one as we’ll almost close to the first
3. Scream 6: I’m really impressed with this new one it’s so good yea the ending isn’t the best but the whole movie before that just perfect
4. Scream 2022: it’s a great return after 4, love the new characters that we get, and the killer motives is a really interesting one
5. Scream 4: for the longest time it was my least favorite idk why but recently I’ve gave it a rewatch and loved it because of catching up with our main three since 3 and Jills motive and how ahead of time it was
6. Scream 3: it use to be higher on my list but noticing it’s flaw but I do have to admit there is no bad Scream movie, it just not as good as 1 or 2

Haha I like to keep it interesting.
Minds can change, even in that quick of a time
Hey I’m like that with my favorite franchises. I’ve stated it for Scream, Halloween, Rocky, Star Wars. I don’t know man. I get caught up. I love these movies like people. Some days the people in your life piss you off. I don’t know what to tell you. I just don’t see them like other movies.
1. Scream
2. Scream 4
3. Scream 6
4. Scream 2
5. Scream 5
6. Scream 3
Regarding 4, it's just a filter that was added and nothing to do with the cinematography.
Pretentious much
Scream 1-5 are my favs! I prefer the original characters! Scream 6 is a good popcorn flick though.

Happy to say I honestly don’t believe there are any bad scream movies so creating a list can be challenging.
@@ashleymiles2350 Not sure if they were together before or after Dewey’s death.
The guy she was living with.

Thank you Big B!
But ... the writers are bad . . .
Good writers? The series has had the same plot reveal for practically most of the films - gasp it's a family member of a previous killer or a unknown family member of the original.....
I think it's time to shake this franchise up - of course fans will grumble but sometimes change is for the better - with the right writers of course lol

Great video Lee! I really love your content man! Here is my ranking:
The next two are both in my top 40. favourite horror movies:
Thank you warden!

Either way…here we go and I’m ready to be roasted lol

Can’t argue with that ranking man. I do hope you come around to Scream 3 a bit more - it’s probably my most rewatched sequel. There’s something about it that just gets better on rewatch, whereas the others are always a bit disappointing. Can’t beat the OG though obviously
I go back and forth with Scream 3 honestly. I always have some fun with it.
Great ranking Lee! I’ve found it very hard to rank this time! But after thinking about it for a few days and seeing scream 6 for a second time it’s currently like this -
1. Scream
Love this ranking Charlotte! I can see 6 moving higher for me.
@@DrumdumsOfficial thank you :) I’m actually about watch 6 for the third time haha.
@@charlottegore5449 Nice!

3. Scream 6 ( genuinely scared me, great suspense)
4. Scream 5 ( loved the intro of the new generation)
5. Scream 2 (nice vibe)
6. Scream 4
Dont forget about The Bone Collector!
Love that one!
Great ranking drum 🥁 dums I love scream so I had to give mine as well:
6. Scream 3
5. Scream 2
4. Scream 5
3. Scream 4
2. Scream 6
1. Scream
Don't end your fresh takes...minutes after seeing the film. I like quickies too.
Plus there has been plenty of cases of people being almost gutted and getting away from their attacker
awesome rankings sir ...mine are 1,2,5, 6, 4 and 3
Scream 2 finale had a touch of New Nightmare finale.
For me its:
1.Scream '96
2. Scream 2 (Probably my favorite sequel of the series)
3. Scream 4
4. Scream 3
5. Scream 5
6. Scream 6.
While I do like Randy as a character, I would honestly put Kirby and Dewey above him. Love those characters so much.
Agreed Brandon! Kirby and Dewey are top notch!
