One of the best actors in Scream. I'd rank Chad higher than Mindy because he beat up Ghostface more than once.
I wanted to put Tara is S tier so badly but if Gale and Dewey are A tier I just wouldn’t feel right pushing her up past them. I think A tier is better for now and after scream 7 then we can consider S tier. And she was only in 2 movies, once she has atleast 4-3 then she can be S tier. Obviously being in movies doesnt make you an S tier, but you need to atleast have some longetivity in the franchise to be considered a Sidney character. Cotton was to Gale what Gale was to Sidney. Gale kept bugging Sidney and writing about her because she wanted her big break. And Cotton kept bugging Gale for the same reason. It took 3 movies for Cotton to get a show. It took Gale 5 movies to get a show.

Dewey had to be A tier, I can’t help it lol. Randy is probably the most regrettable ranking but I stand by it. Since I marathon the entire franchise in 2 weeks, I can safely say Randy kinda fades after 3 and it’s hard to remember him. I hope that people seeing I put Dewey in A tier shows how non-bias I’m being! Lol
Tara would have made it in S because of how Jenna Ortega portrays her. If you watch Tara's face throughout being attacked in Scream 5 she looks Terrified while also still defending herself and when other people around her are being stabbed in the Bodega she still looks terrified but also empathetic, shocked and scared there is also darkness within Tara she too enjoyed killing Ethan there is so much potential for her character.
The ranking is amazing, but Sam being above gale is a crime. Love Sam but gale is my absolute favorite, she’s a hardworking reporter and an amazing character overall. I love gale because she tried to make the best out of all the traumatic things that happened to her, her trauma is definitely overlooked. Atleast she got money and a positive side to all the murders, instead of just being depressed.
Thanks for the good laugh with the crime remark! There's no doubt Gale is a hard worker and turns her trauma into positivity in her life, but there's too many scenes of her being morally sucky. She had me in Scream 5 when she said she wouldn't give the killers any more recognition AND would've been S tier if she kept that promise. Sam is just a badass and very vengeful to those who attack her and the core 4. She channels that inner Billy, and I love Billy. i’m loving this list! i just watched the franchise for the first time a couple of weeks ago and got to watch scream 6 at the theatre which was so fun. i’m definitely gonna go watch your reactions to them, i’ve been having so much fun seeing what other people think of the franchise! i wanted tatum and anika to be final girls, they deserved it!! or at least to survive longer than they did. tatum is one of my faves in the franchise honestly. and dewey’s death is still hurting my soul, every legacy character surviving all of the movies is kinda an unrealistic expectation though so i get why they went for that but i loved him so much 😭 (hold on i think i have a thing for the riley’s-)

I’ve been watching the movies since the first one was released and I loved the series. I even, unpopular opinion here, enjoyed the third season. Not as much as the first two, but I did enjoy it.

Randy should be higher in the ranking. He was a character who created suspicion, immersed the audience in the film. He suspected Billy of the murders more than anyone else. Thanks a lot to him, Billy's character turned out to be as suspicious as he was planned to be, in order to make the task more difficult for the audience, so that it would be more difficult for them to guess that there are actually two killers. The first film succeeded in this more than the others. In the third film, his absence was felt. The fact that characters similar to him were subsequently introduced proves that he was important to the franchise, as he allowed the audience to feel involved in the film, forced them to strain their brains and follow every action of each character, since he himself treated the actions of the film as if he was in a movie theater. This horror franchise is much loved for that. Randy is one of my favorite characters of the franchise along with Billy, Sidney, Stu, Dewey and Gail.
Randy is one of my favorite characters and I love him so much! Even though his scenes are impactful, I feel like his sudden death and absence was felt TOO much in the sequels. But because of that he goes lower on the list, even though I could’ve given him A tier. I probably should have ranking him higher lol but him dying early was a big strike. I am not a fan of Scream 4. However Jill being top tier is spot on. The scene of making herself hurt to fake out that she was a killer was awesome. My issue with her is the motivations behind the kills. I liked that it was always a trilogy, but Sam is an absolute badass. If they do the trilogy plan for Scream 5 and 6 like the original I see her taking on anyone with the same brutality she’s done in the last two.
Sam is one of my favorites because she is so brutal. using her evil desire for good is a cool take. Jill will forever be high on the list because no one else got as far as she did. I do wish they mentioned her in Scream 5 though.
They were left off intentionally because they get the smallest amount of screen time and barely effect the story (except Maureen obviously but she wasn't actually present at all in the movies other than flash backs and ghost lol) I appreciate you keeping me straight!

Angaleena was going to be a killer but they rewrote it but not enough to make Ghostface seem human. so it makes plotholes. however On the Scream trilogy boxset, Angelina is not listed as a victim for the third massacre. which could just be a mistake but conspiracy brain i think she is alive facked her death and got out so they could have her as a backup plan.
I was sad for u ranking Randy a B but you are so right for this. He died too early and we didn't have so much from him 😢 and Cotton had so much potential, he's just like Gale lol he just wanted his 15 minutes of fame, i love him sm. Ethan and Quinn are so irrelevant and people still think they are better than Nancy and Bailey like...bffr 💀 just say u like them just bc they are hot. I love Randy’s character but he doesn’t even survive all of Scream 2. His presence is missed in the sequels but I honestly moved on from him a lot easier than Dewey. Mrs. Loomis is a badass and deserves a TON of credit. She was pretty smooth and had Sidney on the ropes until Cotton came in. I agree with overhyping the younger characters but they do have some great scenes. I could see a younger audience really liking them. I appreciate the love and I’m glad you enjoyed the reaction! The only redeeming thing about Liv in Scream 22, for me, is that she’s clearly an allusion to Liv Tyler in Empire Records (one of my 10 fave movies of all time) right down to the outfit she wears in the third act.

1) In defense of Randy : in both Scream 1 & 2, he instinct was right. Scream 1) Very early in the movie he called it that Billy was the killer. And in Scream 2, during the scene with Dewey he has Mickey as his prime suspect. Randy deserves AT LEAST the A-tiers 2) Stu was plain stupid, Billy just used him, he's D-tiers 3) The simple fact that Tara is the first one to surviva openining kill scene and become one of the two main characters should grant her a S-tiers spot 4) Charlie was just Jill's pon, his motivations were pathetic, he's a D-tiers character. 5) In my tiers list, the F-tiers is only for whose who do stupid shit or suck at their job, like Tom or the Woodsboro police officers from scream and the FBI agents from scream 3, Laura from Scream 6, Sam's psychiatrist from Scream 6, etc.

I would put all the killers from 1 to 4 movies in S spot. Just because I love the first 4 movies. And the main antagonists.. they all was so enjoyable to watch. Gale wrote another book in Scream 6 after promising everyone she wouldn't in Scream 5. She's lucky she ain't in the B tier. Her books are a large portion on why there are repeat killers... she is the reason for almost every sequel lol

Cotton was to Gale what Gale was to Sidney. Gale kept bugging Sidney and writing about her because she wanted her big break. And Cotton kept bugging Gale for the same reason. It took 3 movies for Cotton to get a show. It took Gale 5 movies to get a show.

Tara would have made it in S because of how Jenna Ortega portrays her. If you watch Tara's face throughout being attacked in Scream 5 she looks Terrified while also still defending herself and when other people around her are being stabbed in the Bodega she still looks terrified but also empathetic, shocked and scared there is also darkness within Tara she too enjoyed killing Ethan there is so much potential for her character.
The ranking is amazing, but Sam being above gale is a crime. Love Sam but gale is my absolute favorite, she’s a hardworking reporter and an amazing character overall. I love gale because she tried to make the best out of all the traumatic things that happened to her, her trauma is definitely overlooked. Atleast she got money and a positive side to all the murders, instead of just being depressed.
Thanks for the good laugh with the crime remark! There's no doubt Gale is a hard worker and turns her trauma into positivity in her life, but there's too many scenes of her being morally sucky. She had me in Scream 5 when she said she wouldn't give the killers any more recognition AND would've been S tier if she kept that promise. Sam is just a badass and very vengeful to those who attack her and the core 4. She channels that inner Billy, and I love Billy. I have to say Randy is S tier. Without his knowledge more people could have died. And he passed that knowledge on to his niece through his short life. She technically picked two of the three killers right away.

Quinn had some moments but her fakeout death just didn't sit with me well. And she didn't finish Mindy even though she had every option to.

i’m loving this list! i just watched the franchise for the first time a couple of weeks ago and got to watch scream 6 at the theatre which was so fun. i’m definitely gonna go watch your reactions to them, i’ve been having so much fun seeing what other people think of the franchise!
i wanted tatum and anika to be final girls, they deserved it!! or at least to survive longer than they did. tatum is one of my faves in the franchise honestly. and dewey’s death is still hurting my soul, every legacy character surviving all of the movies is kinda an unrealistic expectation though so i get why they went for that but i loved him so much 😭 (hold on i think i have a thing for the riley’s-)

I’ve been watching the movies since the first one was released and I loved the series. I even, unpopular opinion here, enjoyed the third season. Not as much as the first two, but I did enjoy it.

Randy should be higher in the ranking. He was a character who created suspicion, immersed the audience in the film. He suspected Billy of the murders more than anyone else. Thanks a lot to him, Billy's character turned out to be as suspicious as he was planned to be, in order to make the task more difficult for the audience, so that it would be more difficult for them to guess that there are actually two killers. The first film succeeded in this more than the others. In the third film, his absence was felt. The fact that characters similar to him were subsequently introduced proves that he was important to the franchise, as he allowed the audience to feel involved in the film, forced them to strain their brains and follow every action of each character, since he himself treated the actions of the film as if he was in a movie theater. This horror franchise is much loved for that. Randy is one of my favorite characters of the franchise along with Billy, Sidney, Stu, Dewey and Gail.
Randy is one of my favorite characters and I love him so much! Even though his scenes are impactful, I feel like his sudden death and absence was felt TOO much in the sequels. But because of that he goes lower on the list, even though I could’ve given him A tier. I probably should have ranking him higher lol but him dying early was a big strike. I am not a fan of Scream 4. However Jill being top tier is spot on. The scene of making herself hurt to fake out that she was a killer was awesome. My issue with her is the motivations behind the kills.
I liked that it was always a trilogy, but Sam is an absolute badass. If they do the trilogy plan for Scream 5 and 6 like the original I see her taking on anyone with the same brutality she’s done in the last two.
Sam is one of my favorites because she is so brutal. using her evil desire for good is a cool take. Jill will forever be high on the list because no one else got as far as she did. I do wish they mentioned her in Scream 5 though.

Angaleena was going to be a killer but they rewrote it but not enough to make Ghostface seem human. so it makes plotholes. however On the Scream trilogy boxset, Angelina is not listed as a victim for the third massacre. which could just be a mistake but conspiracy brain i think she is alive facked her death and got out so they could have her as a backup plan.

I love Randy’s character but he doesn’t even survive all of Scream 2. His presence is missed in the sequels but I honestly moved on from him a lot easier than Dewey. Mrs. Loomis is a badass and deserves a TON of credit. She was pretty smooth and had Sidney on the ropes until Cotton came in. I agree with overhyping the younger characters but they do have some great scenes. I could see a younger audience really liking them. I appreciate the love and I’m glad you enjoyed the reaction! 1) In defense of Randy : in both Scream 1 & 2, he instinct was right. Scream 1) Very early in the movie he called it that Billy was the killer. And in Scream 2, during the scene with Dewey he has Mickey as his prime suspect. Randy deserves AT LEAST the A-tiers

3) The simple fact that Tara is the first one to surviva openining kill scene and become one of the two main characters should grant her a S-tiers spot

I think his character was great... the reason I would rank him higher is that he is the reason we as the audience are suspicious of Derek and why Sydney begins to have doubts..... at the hospital after the sorority attack on Sydney, where Derek got cut.. saying why would anyone go back in there.... he was playing some deep level mental manipulation on her and us here... @TheDorkSideTV I guess it's your opinion but she didn't cause people to go after Sidney that's a stupid argument. Her swearing not to write a book and then writing a book is classic gale weathers so I didn't Hate it but some people feel differently and that's okay.
