- The death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini after being detained by Iran’s morality police has sparked unprecedented protests across the country.
Videos have emerged across social media showing young protesters, often women, demonstrating in defiance and often facing a violent response from the police.
The Iranian government says protesters are a dangerous threat, and has blamed the US and Israel for spreading the unrest.
This civil unrest is unlike anything seen in Iran for decades.

This 16 years old girl was vanished during a protest in Iran on 20th Sept. After days of searching , On 30th Sept, her family was given the dead body with her face and nose fully smashed, her skull broken from multiple blows and stitches from chest to her stomach.
On the day of her funeral, the IRGC stole her lifeless body from the morgue and secretly buries her in a village. They shot the protestors who gathered for her funeral. They also took her aunt and uncle as hostages to pressurising her family to appear to their IRIB TV to confess that Nika was not killed in #IranProtests.

The "Morality" police have already committed innumerable crimes against these incredibly brave protesters. One of their most recent publicly known victims is a young 17 y/o, Nika Shakarami, who was tortured and raped and beaten so brutally that her face and skull was caved in. Western media needs to stop whitewashing these crimes - she was not just beaten. She was raped, tortured and beaten beyond any recognition.
This is why they stole the body, after it was returned for burial. And she is not the only victim - there are many we never hear about.
It's so ironic how they call themselves "morality" police when they are doing heinous crimes themselves. If their hell is real then they should rot there.

What's really upsetting is that we as Iranian fell very let down, nobody has even spoke about what's happening in Iran. People are die like fly's and no other countries even say a thing.. i remember George Floyd's death sparked the world and here we have people dieing in the streets of Iran and no one even care. Iranian people need help from countries like USA , UK, France, Germany and even others but they all silenced..
Well as sad at it is but there are 2 main reasons for this. First you guys are not black and second the western world dosnt like Islam (which is understandable) and dosnt care what these muslims do to each other.

If I were religious, I'd say that these women are doing God's work. They are doing the work of a just universe, and it's beautiful to see the men supporting them. I can't stop thinking that a big part of why these women feel they can protest and burn their hijabs is that they know that their fathers, brothers, and husbands will support them and won't beat them themselves. It's horrific that this must be done, but an amazing, awe-inspiring sight. Women of Iran, the world sees you, loves you, and supports you 100%.

3:50 I don't know if I'd say "unlike anything seen in decades". Remember what happened after "Blue Girl"? She literally set herself on fire because she knew going to jail for 6 months was worse (the charge was that she went to see a sports match live in a stadium instead of watching it on TV at home 😒). Pretty much the same protests. Let's just hope that this time, it actually works and doesn't just fizzle out like every other time. My concern is that there's an old Persian expression about how there's never been a bad thing that wasn't replaced by something worse, which apparently Persians forgot in 1979. Well the older generation.
Mahsa Amini died of stroke. The way she fainted in the police station is an outcome of a stroke not attack (the fact that she remained in coma states it was a stroke). Heart conditions are a result of a person living in a controlled environment for a prolonged period of time where they don’t have freedom of words or action and their communication skills are poor as a result of their environment and circumstances. It’s a outcome of an environment where they have a lot to say but are dominated by people around them so they choose to stay quiet to keep peace. Clearly Amini was under a lot of stress, being arrested by Police is a very stressful event, was she beaten by police in the van (unsure about that). BUT Police or authorities cannot be blamed for her death. With the kind of food our youth eats today, their cholesterol levels are up at an early age. This most likely was as an outcome of high cholesterol which is ignored in a lot of cultures.
Anyhow the women of Iran took full opportunity of Amini’s natural death, blamed it on Police (Police have been labelled evil since George Floyd’s death).
If a woman wants to stand up for herself she has to break all the barriers herself and stop treating men (her husbands, brothers, sons) like Gods. Start with your own home and this shall spread. You don’t have to protest in public and dance around the fire. Build a safe environment at home, stand up against men in your family first - that is the biggest gift you can give to women around you.
Like I said start small, take baby steps and stop this protests. Stay home. Stay calm. Use your voice. Every single day. Until every woman around you is free.
How can we keep these men with their anger issues? There is a solution to that. That’s a topic for another day. For now if you see an angry man with a stick, walk away in peace.
Using our VOICE is a necessity but sometimes all you need is KHAMOSHI.
