    Hi,
    I have crayfish as well.
    Loved your video.
Which fish do you have in your tank?
I put Guppy in mine and had to take them out as the crayfish were chopping off their tails and eating them.

Hi, thanks and glad you love my videos! So I have panda cories, Blue ram, and bunch of guppies. I used to have plecos but they all got eaten because they are slow and bottom feeders. My cories all got eaten eventually as well. The guppies, they do get couple of tail cuts here and there but they learn not to swim around the crayfish after those tail cuts. And the blue rams, they are aggressive so even crayfish don’t mess with them. I’d definitely suggest fast swimming fishes like tetras and Minos in your tank to keep with your crayfish. But I think couple of tail chops are inevitable! Hope this helped! (Maybe I should do a video on which fish to keep with the crayfish! 😄)

Hello, no. Substrate is not necessary for crayfish but it would make them a bit happier and help them move around without slipping too much.
