This! Hope the algorithm will give the channel a place in the spotlight soon. Imagine where the channel could go with more subs and viewtime, giving the chance to get even better facilities!
For getting some great info about painting your car without a paint booth u have to watch paint society. He has some great tips and gets awesome results and is focused on the rookie painter.
This reminds me a bit of the M539 channel in earlier days, great to see you repair cars without spending billions on parts. Painting yourself seemed working out good enough . Nice job
I just found you channel a few hours ago and im glad I did, very informative and entertaining to watch someone who is hard working and professional. Greetings from Lithuania!
That paint matching is spot on. It looks incredibly good and grey is hard to blend usually. But BMW has good quality paint on them. E - series = best series. You do well.
Bralukas, great work. Change the rear brake caliper spring and clean the rust out the channel were the pad ears slide, so the pads wear evenly. Bmw says to change the spring every pad change or after 2 years.
I’m fairly new to the BMW world and when I first saw the B48/58 I was very curious why the chains were on the back? Audi VW do it on any engine bigger than a four cylinder. Watching the video on this car (we never got the 4 cylinder diesels in the US) I noticed how similar this N47 diesel is to the B48 petrol engine. Chains on the back and there are two of them WITH an actual timing cover! Basing a petrol engine on a diesel design seems brilliant, and so far the B38, 48 and 58 are all very reliable. Point is, I love these video series. It’s so cool to see the different models around the world and watching someone rebuilding them. Love it!
Great work, I've paid decent money for worse paint jobs than that. Make sure you get proper PPE when spraying especially with lacquer. Eye protection or full face mask or even an air fed hood (expensive) and cover every part of your skin that you can 👍
Nice work. Don't worry about the slight orange peel, you are not a professional yet. In fact new mass production cars comes with visible orange peel from factory. And since polishing is essentially sanding, it is better to let the car live for a while and collect some scratches naturally before polishing 🙂 If you will paint more you will get better finish with experience, improving is the most important factor. I would lose the music if you want to grow your audience. Not everybody likes the same style and for me it was a bit off. I would rather be listening to the spray gun "music" 😅 But i guess your air compressor was too loud and working constantly. Someone already said it, but get a full face mask. Nitrile gloves is a must too. Paint is nasty stuff, cover everything you can.
How this channel is only at 7,3k is beyond me.
