  • Riding the Cabot Trial by motorcycle in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia has to be one of Canada's most scenic rides. Its sheer rugged beauty will leave you in awe and wanting to ride it again and again.

Stayed in NB for 8 months. Nothing compares to the Cabot Trail. Can only imagine how beautiful in the Fall when the leaves change colour.

Hi Dave, I’m also Dave & a fellow Canadian living in London Ontario & retired. Just found your channel about a week ago when I viewed you in a group chat with BoDean 52 & a few of his Bro’s.
Anyway I had a 2017 Gold Wing last year. Didn’t really like the Honda, great bike but severely lacked personality if you understand. A Few weeks ago I ordered a 2021 Harley Davidson Road Glide Limited & I am pretty stoked about it. To the point I’m planning a Cabot Trail run later this summer if all the borders open up. And if the borders do not open by summer I’ll do it the following summer.Planning to get there via Canada 🇨🇦 & returning via USA 🇺🇸. It’s been on my bucket list for quite some time.
So I really enjoyed watching your Cabot Trail video, looks like an awesome ride.
Stay safe & hope we have a great riding year.
    Cheers...

Hi Dave, thanks for stopping by. I had a 85 gold wing interstate back in the day and traded up to my 07 Street glide that I love. Congrats on your new purchase and the Cabot trail is certainly a great place to break it in. My wife and I are considering a east coast vacation in August if the provincial borders opening. if not then we'll tour Ontario. I hosted a live chat on the Cabot trail you should check it out as my guest were experts on Cape Breton and the Cabot trial. If you check out the comments on that video you'll find their contact info. Daniel Ross was featured on Harley Davidson tv show call common ground. in it he rides the Cabot trail. Check back or subscribing to my channel as there is a discussion on an Ontario MotorVlog meet up later in the summer. Cheers and ride safe, Dave

This has been on my hit list of trips for a long time. Are you guys from out there? I'm over in Toronto.

Greetings, is it Adrian? We are also from Toronto and this was a trip my friend Karl and I did. At the end of the Cabot Trail Karl headed home and I continued on to St Johns Newfoundland. We took four days to get there driving along the St. Lawrence and then the coast line of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia before hitting Cape Breton and the trail. If you are interested in going there check out the Daniel at the Cabot Trail Biker who is a local expert on the trail. We also did a live stream with Daniel if you are interested. Looking forward to checking our your channel. Best wishes to you and your family, Cheers Dave

Looks beautiful, I almost made it there last summer. Ran into some weather that changed my route. Very nice video sir.

Thanks for watching, sorry to hear that you had to change your route due to weather. My ride around the trail was dry but cool, not like the ride home which was 2 days of solid rain. Hope you find time to make the trip again and if your passing through Ontario give us a shout, cheers and enjoy your rides.

nice road shots: now, get some footage of boats, fish, trees, critters, food, people, etc, to cut between the road footage. beach. water, bushes, ... ... and there you go ready for TV.

All good suggestions. We plan on doing this ride again and we'll give ourselves more time to enjoy the trail. For this ride time was not non our side. cheers Ray and thanks for stopping by.
