- Brat Burgers - I used store-bought@OfficialJohnsonvilleBratwurst, cut them out of the casings and made some big ol' Brat Burgers! Glazed them with a Mustard Sauce, topped them with Cheese and made a delicious Brat Burger with pickles and caramelized onions.
Brat Burgers might be better than regular Brats... and I do love me some Brats!

I was lucky enough to have a butcher at a local super market started making his own Brat Ground. My wife asked him and he sold us some to try. That is the best ground meat I ever tasted. Became a staple in my house for a couple years It was just strange doing them in burger form and changing up the toppings. Unfortunately he has moved on but he hooked us up before he left. I miss that burger.
Recipes like this are why I love this channel. Never thought of making a burger with brat meat. Looks absolutely fantastic and with those onions and mustard glaze? forget about it, it almost feels like cheat codes lol that HAS to be delicious

If you like a nice stone ground mustard, you should try Boetje’s Mustard from Rock Island, Illinois. It’s a multiple award winner and it’s amazing! Makes the best mustard mayo you can imagine.

Hey hey Malcom, I get these burgers from my local butcher that are called Pork Bacon Burger, very sim to your Brat Burger that has Bacon ground into the burger. Brother let me tell you, those things are the BOMB!!!

Hey buddy, I live 2 min from Johnsonville in Wisconsin. If I may make a suggestion add some good beer to the caramelized onions like PBR, butter, and onions. FORGET the mustard glaze!!!!!! The glaze is B.S. mark your brat patties half your size and simmer them in the beer onion and butter mixture to finish cooking.

maybe mix a little onion into sauerkraut instead of the heavy onion, and go with a more traditional german mustard than a bbq mustard...just some suggestions for comparison...but the way you did those brats looks good too

Serious question, how can you overwork sausage meat? It's already been overworked to the max. Also how are you going to suggest not to "overwork" them and then have to put the indent in the patties which is a sign of OVERWORKED ground meat. I think we need to face facts, and say it you don't actually know how to BBQ or even cook, you just pour salt and butter on stuff and go yeah that tastes good.

What gives bratwurst its taste is nutmeg. You dont need to buy bratwurst just buy ground pork and add ground nutmeg and ginger.
