How do y’all get the flour to stick bro cause everytime I try to fry something it never sticks like ever, I use cornstarch too but the flour just drips right off after I put it on
Well, you want the chicken moist when you drop it in the flour, which is his buttermilk batter . If you dont use that, then some people use an egg wash . But the second thing is right temp for the oil .. it has to be hot when u drop it in, or your flour will just come off .. 350 degrees. Alot of diff ways to tell if the oil is hot but get a thermometer and check the temp so your right on spot everytime and also can check the chicken temp to make sure u right on spot .

That fingertip👆🏾into the seasoned flour is RIGHT ON! I don’t know of any other method to check if it’s mixed well or if the ratio of seasoning 🧂 is correct. The selection of dark meat to be ‘lighter on the wallet’ is SPOT ON!! BTW, I also do a buttermilk marinade for my catfish (nuggets, fillets, or steaks), as well as a coating of seasoned flour then a coating of seasoned yellow corn meal. Definitely a TRADE MARK MONEY SHOT!🥰😘

Sounds like you need to get a digital food thermometer and accurately monitor your oil.. otherwise maybe try frying at a lower temp.. 325 ish

I had that problem as well but only with the legs the key is 2 cook them low and slow

Oil is too hot. I had to turn my deep fryer down to 300 to get it right honestly. I guess everyone’s setup is different.
