I just turned 30. I have been a govt job aspirants after graduation(SSC/UPSC) for 5 years. Unfortunately I couldn't crack it. So I thought about a plan B and started learning to code. I have spent last 1.5 years learning to code. I did spend time learning dsa, backend development using Java Spring boot. I have knowledge in C++, java and javascript. I started applying a month back. Started getting calls recently. Even though I havn't cracked a job yet, I'm improving day by day. Making changes to my resume when I learn new things. For starters build applications or do some projects and don't fall into tutorial hell. Don't make clones. Build something, even if it's a clone you should know what you are doing, you should understand why you have written a particular line of code and you should be able to explain it in front of an interviewer. Learn some advanced concepts as well inorder to stand out among other candidates. If you can solve problems on a daily basis do that as well. It'll greatly improve your programming logic. I'll update if I get a job.
