Cotto's uncle was his best possible trainer, he was with him since the beginning of his career. His uncle knew everything about him, it's a shame they didn't get along.

I like Cotto as a person, he's smart, has a good head on his shoulders and loves his family. Also not the douchebag he could very well be at this point in his career. He could have rocked Trout but seemed not confident in his pressure approach. I hope Freddy brings him back to the limelight, he deserves it.

Cotto's lack of speed, size and defense led to his losses. Hope his cardio holds up.
who knows if Cotto can put like 4 good fights together at 147-154 I could see a rematch with Floyd. Out of everybody he was the closest to winning. Plus Cotto got some big money fights, he fight Alverz, ortiz, guerro, berto, Adrian bronner. Bradley. Theres money out there for him. Hopefully Freddie gets him sharpe.
Cotto needs more stamina or perhaps he needs to get pissed off more. maybe freddie can help. Those qualities will make him unbeatable hes one of the most skilled fighters ever.

Pacquiao was faster, Trout was bigger and Floyd was the better counter puncher. He lacked speed, size and defense against those opponents.
