Oh dear, oh dear ... what a gift to us, lovers of good music. Enjoyed the whole program. Mr. Leon's performance of Bizet's 'The Pearl's Fishers'. was lovely, sweet, enchanting. Thank you.
Me embellecieron un dia triste y lluvioso ! Muchas gracias, jovenes y bellas voces. La Opera si tiene futuro. Gracias, Maetros Placido. Gracias a los concusantes. Una maravilla.
Anthony Ciaramitaro deserved more! He has a marvelous voice
Yes and Nice looking, but weak appoggio sometimes
Incredible what wonderful singers are living near us, so young and so genially! Opera will never, never die. Thanks an OPERALIA for the celebration of the most beautiful art! I adore Nilses Wanderer Händel-singing and voice: so deep interpretation and emotion. Also Grigorian is a real "rose" - some great stars are born here.
Anthony Ciaramitaro, finalmente una voce italiana. Bravissimo Anthony León.
My deepest respects to Juliana Grigorian.
🤗 🫶 🎼 🇦🇲 🥰
No not just Koreans. The were all marvelous. Ethnocentricity should not make a difference
Ahhh, the adrenaline of being on THE stage!!!
Congratulations to Juliana Grigoryan on her well-deserved victory, she is such a wonderful singer.
Paz y salud.
Me encanta el Himno de Operalia. Las voces son magníficas.
Adored the 1st one: Duke Kim, in his first aria. Exquisite musicianship & singing + voice quality. I'm sure I lack knowledge to properly appreciate other performers who won even higher prizes. Yes, also loved Grigoryan's Rusalka!
Bravi Tutti
Fantástico concurso Operaria 2022 👏👏👏
Operalia 2022 bravissimo! Maestro bravo!
Nils Wanderer impressed me by his technique and placement.
Juliana Grigoryan brava, brava and brava❗️So proud of you ❤💐🇦🇲❗️
Ein gutes Video das gut Orchester
Bravi!!
I hope one day I’ll see Juliana perform the title role Rusalka in Prague
I adored the Zerbinetta - so fresh and personal interpretation. Congratulation to this coloratura soprano! Sarena Saensa! Bravo!
Si ma più panofka e concone please
She made a massive mistake in the middle of the aria. She made up the notes for a whole phrase...
Poor her, and those were the notes right before the big money high E6… in my opinion she didn’t really bring anything new, but the attempt is worth commending.
@@Yotam1703 one of the most difficult arias in the whole repertory. it takes a lot of guts to sing this in a competition.
@@biancacastafiore8760 oh certainly - I wasn’t trying to disparage her. It is indeed a scary aria and she took a big risk singing it in the competition.
Low voices did a great job.
Congrats to Juliana Grigoryan, performance was sublime.
Second singer on stage, lovely looking. I felt her Mozart was somewhat heavy and sluggish and slightly late on entries. Triplets well negotiated. Great clarinet!
andsomew

Serena was great
Ciaramatiro the best tenor voice by far I’m not fooled by the end result winner, having said that Leon has a beautiful voice
I do not know what Operalia is about, but the only male singer to have an operatic voice was Anthony Ciaramitaro.
And he didn’t even place… that is the thinking of the leaders of some of the biggest opera companies in the world.
And listening him singing live was even more magnificent, such a huge voice full of overtones!!
Anyway there is and will be no Mario del Monaco or Franco Corelli on the stage of the modern opera. I console myself with videos showing legendary opera singers of the glorious past

Maybe I’m not hearing what the “experts” are hearing… but Ciaramitaro was the only singer I felt was technically secure and stayed connected to his core. Beyond him it was a bunch of head voices. 😒
Cannot agree. How are you connected to him
@@doogieschmoogie5849 😂 not at all. Don’t even know his first name. He sang the old Italian style technique like Franco Bonisolli, Giuseppe Giacomini etc
Bring Domingo back. People need to hear the man now.
Juliana looks like Asmik
Who?
Asmik Grigorian
They are not related.
Except for the last name and that they are lyrical sopranos, they don't look alike at all. Asmik is one of the most interesting artists that have emerged in recent generations, both vocally and interpretively. To begin with, it is the recipient and inheritor of a way of emitting the voice that, unfortunately, has been lost in recent decades and that can be defined as natural, physiological and that is typical of the bel canto masters of the 19th century. Her lyrical soprano voice is fully developed and always sounds clean, round, homogeneous, as far as timbre is concerned, in all registers, from the bass, which never sounds artificial, forced, to the treble, which never sounds strident, open and oscillating, but rather, as they say in Italy, "copertos" and with authentic "squillo", that is, with their natural harmonics; equally homogeneous, regardless of the dynamics, from "pianissimo" to "fortissimo" (not backing out on the "pianos" and squeezing, pushing on the "fortes"), with a natural vibrato, perfectly in tune and, what is very relevant , INTRINSICALLY BEAUTIFUL. Likewise, her voice presents a fluid, easy transition between the different registers and with excellent phrasing, articulation, diction, expressive capacity and nuance, which allows her interpretations to be full of authenticity, creativity and dramatic intensity.
Not so with Juliana. A quality voice and talent is perceived, but its emission technique is contaminated by the parameters of the so-called modern singing technique. I am not going to make an exhaustive comparative analysis of the two broadcasting techniques, because it would be very long for a space like this, but I invite you to listen to both in, for example, "Un bel di vedremo", from the " Butterfly" pucciniana and compare; first listen to Juliana and then to Asmik (both videos are on youtube) and draw your own conclusions.
I have had the opportunity to listen to and see Asmik live, in the theater, and it is absolutely spectacular in every way, a privilege.
THE BELCANTO LOVER.
The coloratura butchered Großmächtige Prinzessin LOL
it takes a lot of guts to sing this in a competition. you should try it.
I'm super sorry, but Nils did not sound great in this competition, i don't get how he tied with the amazing korean tenor... In the previous round of the competition he sang one of the worst Cesares i have ever heard also.
