Thanks so much for the video. I haven't made a decision, but you have very much clarified my thinking. Great video!
Hi I love your videos and you explain everything so clearly
Once again some useful tips by dottotech :) I decided against your preference timetrade because of their advertising in the confirmation mails and the inability to edit these. So I'm testing Calendly now... Looking good so far, so again thx for the tip!
Love your videos sir.
I will never use most things you do videos on but I can easily see where the info you provide will make someone's choice easier.
Kreig Hirstius Thanks Kreig!
Excellent and time-saving video - thank you
thank u so much. exactly the things I also was searching for.
Thank you very much, I appreciate the thoughtfully made video info.
Great stuff Steve! Very helpful. Keep crushing bro! Thanks!
Love the enthusisam & no fluff review. Was on the edge & you closed me on Accuity for iCoach.live.
Thank you for doing this! Super helpful.
Very informative video. Well done. Thanks.
Great video! Thank you so much for your explanations, I was looking for an application of this kind :)))
Thanks so much - I am on the hunt for my driver education - car lesson scheduling. I do like the views you showed us - re: 2 Available on what days. Thanks so much for creating and sharing. I am testing out Squarespace Scheduling (Acuity) and Square. We will see!
Thank you so much for your research. I really needed that!
from a tech perspective.. webste integration adds load to server, and needs more work from dev team's site - hence the minor extra cost - i did go mad serching for a good solution myself too.. will update about my finds perhaps :)
Thank you for the tutorial.
Great review. We had been using schedule once for a few years with our coaching calls. But it feels a bit clunky on the backend and confusing. They do offer phone support on the higher plans which is what we had. Does get pricey compared to the other options out there now. Looks like Calendly now has the website embed option too. Gonna test them out.
thanks for the review. Very thorough.
do you have an updated video on this subject?
Hello Steve! Thanks for the great videos and truly hope you have an awesome New Year! Have you looked at SetMore?
thanks dttotech. This was the information I was looking for.
I have tried Pulse 24/7 appointment booking app. This is the best booking app and I been using it for a year now
Hello Steve! This was helpful. I see this was uploaded in 2015, sure much has changed for you. Consider Appointlet.
I will have a look
Hey Steve. I'm a new subscriber & want to thank you. Your videos are awesome & this hit the spot for me. Are you still using Schedule Once? Pros/cons?
Steve you have taught us so much thank you Jono A
Calendly does actually offer website integration now. It is quite nice, I think. I have it on my website and users never leave my site to book their appointments.
Nora can we see how Calendly looks integrated on your website?
Sure! norakramerdesigns.com/schedule-call/ It was really easy to implement too. You don't even have to be a website designer or developer! ;)
Thank you so much . FYI Great website.
Thank you! :)
@@norajkramer nice website! exactly what i needed to know thanks
Thank you! I was looking for a great scheduler and I went with TimeTrade after watching this.
+Firearms Nation you'll have to let me know what you think of it after a few months.
How are you finding it?
I am trying to build on for personal use. Not a helpful comment but your video helped me build my strategy!
Great info. Thanks!
Can upload an updated video on this. Thank you.
Excellent info thanks for time
Dotto! Dotto! Great tutorial. I wanted to let you know that I just got off a webinar with Calendly and they DO offer website integration with 3 different ways to do it. And in their help section it shows articals/videos on how to embed in defferent platforms like Wordpress or Squarespace etc. (TimeTrade was hard to connect with and see rates when I tried) I hope this helps! You help me so much!
Idea for you: Maybe do a tutorial on the best apps to help people "Write that book, finally".
Thanks Heather, this video could probably do with an update! I appreciate you Updating the information.
Apps to write a book! Me? I'll look into it, it's a good suggestion I'm just not sure on the right person to advise on that topic.
Hi - I use vcita. Example of how a customer books in on my channel. Together with other marketing I've tripled my turnover in the last quarter. Tracks conversions with Adwords and Facebook.
It actually does everything for me that you have mentioned at the start of the video.
However, the pricing might put you off but for me it was an easy choice
+Harborough Blinds I remember looking at it, and it did seem it was a viable option, glad it is working out for you!
Our firm is looking at Calendly. Website integration is available now and the price point is reasonable imo.
Good stuff! I appreciate you pointing out the key bits of how you made your decision re: the tools. I'm inspired by your content to begin to make some content available -- how to start a tech startup -- basically in your footsteps! Oh btw, BEST audio ever, and UNBELIEVABLE keying....amazing!
Greg S. Thanks Greg ! I have to tell you I have since flip-flopped a bit, I ended up with Schedule-Once, I found I needed a bit more integration with my web site etc.
Integration is key: its the guiding principle behind all my current plans!
Which one is the best for lead generation business
I am at early stages with Cvita. I might have to rethink this decision.
Nice! I'm a new subscriber and think that your content is the best in terms of quality in the Tech World of RUclips! Keep up the amazing work, I appreciate it very much! I recommend this channel for any tech geek! :D
wish that U can reply :D plz..
+Anas Ghost Thanks Anas! I appreciate it!
Useful info; Thank you
I have a question? I did all process for setting a meeting. But the problem for the customer not received the message like thank you for participating
Great video and analysis...
I am a consultant and many times I meet with my customer and also their other advisers (lawyer, etc.).
I´d like to be able to send the client AND the other adviser the same link from my company so that they can BOTH see my schedule and from there decide TOGETHER when they want to meet with me. In other words, that they can both decide on a time that works for them inside of the platform and once they agree, it books on my schedule.
Do you know of any software that does this?
Thanks!
Hey boss. Can you tell me the software that u used background.
Hi Steve, I guess you ruled out Doodle which I was about to use but was not sure if offered the same "block some time with me" options - Doodle has a "meet me" option which I thought may do it? Is TimeTrade better than Doodle for this?
Good review. I'm a uni lecturer and I've been trying to look at a scheduling app/website is integrated with the Microsoft Teams calendar, for tutorials this should allow a single or a small group of students to book a session with me. Up to now I have been using Doodle Poll but the free version doesn't integrate with Teams. Does anybody know, is there something out there that will fit the criteria?
Hello I just found this video and know its a few years old and was wondering have you heard of 10to8 Online Booking App ? Thanks
is there still a free version of timetrade?
I have found 10to8 to be the absolute best of the best. Nothing comes close in my opinion.
But no way to take payment before booking is confirmed ?
I have been using software called Client Magic and used my PC for the database. Client Magic is awesome but was sold to Mindbody which is an online solution. However, I need a solution that does not depend on the internet. Client Magic is no longer supported and I'm afraid one day, my PC will crash and I'm screwed (although I regularly back-up my database and store on Google Drive).
Client Magic tracks my inventory, is great for scheduling clients, keeping notes and photos, etc.
Do you know of any solution that I can use for my home salon (only 2 chairs) that is not online?
Online homework options for High Schoolers?
We will be offering it again in 2107 really have to wait that long for you next screen casting course. Bottom of page
Does it need a green screen
Is there a good software if you have various workers that work out in the field and you need to send assignments to them?
Yo he buscado varias alternativas para gestionar, mis clientes, servicios y agenda, pero la que realmente me encanto fue la de Kbien.. pruebenlo, tiene un demo de 30 días y te das cuenta que sirve para gestionar todo tu salón de belleza.
www.kbien.com
How about Bookeo, have you tried it?
Hi. I am a tutor. I take group classes and need to show the parents what are the timings that are still available. Also, parents can pay for the slots that they have chosen (Eg pay for 4 lessons). Can any of them do it?
I think you would love Visibook. They're a great company with great tech support. You can set up classes and accept payments for them.
Thank you Steve! would recommend this for music school. I have a music school with multiple teachers and i have been looking for the right scheduling tools. Please advise. thanks
+abba biya It may work, but I would not be comfortable recommending it until I knew a lot more about your needs, I believe there are good apps for you, but you are going to have to do a fair bit of research.
It's possible I'm just impatient and didn't dig deep enough, but I didn't see a way for any of them to accept payments for a booking. Which one do you recommend for that? (Fun video!)
+Mary Going I think you just have to dig a little deeper. Most of the packages support some form of online payment. I am sorry buy I have not tested that feature enough to make a good recommendation.
this is my list of research on other scheduling software available, let me know what do you guys think
(1) setmore
(2) square appointment
(3) simplybook.me
G Suite had calendar scheduling included and integrated
I was looking for an application of this kind
Great information. Which one has a text feature?
Perhaps Pocketsuite?
So i click to calendly and the page is white and says Calendly Error sorry
Steve, is there a way within any of these schedulers to require that appointments be made a specified period of time in advance? I need a minimum of 24 hours advance notice of an appointment.
I suppose I could go in manually and disable the next day's open times, but...
David Tapley You can set those thresholds in all the apps that i looked at, so you should be OK with any of them.
Does time trade send out email reminders? I think that would help with having meeting no shows??? Any Idea Steve.
+Ardent Wealth Yes you can set that up
Great video. I've been looking at appointment scheduling as well. Have you taken a look at Square Appointments? If you use Square for your CC processing, this seems to make sense. Plus I love the integration to their marketing app and overall sales history per customer. Seems very intuitive. If you haven't taken a look, can you take a peek and give us your thoughts?
BTW... big fan! Thanks for all your videos. Very helpful!
+Bob Bridges hey Bob, that sounds really good I'm a big fan of square, I have not seen square appointments so I'm looking forward to checking it out
dottotech Excellent Steve. Take a look at that and how it integrates into Square Marketing, Square Feedback, and how all of those feed into the Square Dashboard. Sounds like a comprehensive solution for small business. Curious to hear your thoughts.
Hey Steve. Thanks for the review of these apps. Have you considered revisiting this for an update? If so, I'd recommend taking a peek at Click4Time. Way more features and flexibility for the same price.
This demo took HOURS to do as there are so many to look at, my head was spinning. I will have a look at click4time though, and see what is shaking.
I am not finding the option to request an appointment with Calendly, but you can embed on your website.
No option to request an appointment with Calendly according to Calendly support.
I"m considering Satori and Acuity. Did you look at those?
+spleujo No, I have not
Can you do Multiple bookings for a specific time , as i have a computer training class and would like 10 people or more to book online
+Technointeractive It is pretty flexible. you need to check with the for that specific task however.
youcanbook.me thoughts?
Have you looked at Square Up lately?
No, is it good?
A great alternative now is Arrangr.com. It's more of a universal hub for arranging business meetings.
"Je ne sais suck" lol! subscribed.
lambmaster Lol, yep it sucks in BOTH official Canadian languages!
Termin3 is great appointment app.
I would love to know what mobile device you use. would love your take on the Note line.
Plus Pack I have both an iPhone 6+ and Note Edge, Love them both, Note needs better battery life.....
I know its not really your thing to do device reviews, but I would be nice to get a perspective on how you use them to help balance your activity. Note 4 is my go to for everything productive and after a year I am still learning new features. How about you?
Plus Pack I use it more as a tablet than a phone, primarily to test android apps and such, but I am constantly learning new ways to do things!
You should. It is a productivity beast. The only handheld that takes your basic handwriting and digitally represents it. I'm from Jamaica and find myself constantly having to have lessons with users. They are always amazed.
Try to do a few vidz. You will, I'm sure, get new viewers as well as tons of likes.
BTW... I love watching your channel. Keeps me abreast with new productivity tools. Keep up the good work.
Did you find any one that would auto add them to your email list like aweber when they schedule and appt? cant seem to get that going
+coachcomebackPJ no that wasn't a priority for me. I wonder if an IFTTT script could do the trick for you?
+dottotech hmmmm. I will poke around in some recipes and see. I was already trying zapier but the way Calendly and TimeTrade put the info into the calender, zapier doesnt pick it up. Thanks for the tip
+dottotech nope. no autoresponders in IFTTT. Was a good idea though :-)
Hey Steve,
Fast forward 2018, what is the best software to book workshops/events with option choices? Let's say a workshop that occurs for a month in two different times. So people can choose which time slot they want to book after making the payment. Thanks.
I am using partners.booklikeaboss.com/647.html
how do you talk from one side of your mouth like that? its amazing it goes from one side to the other it gives you a laid back slurred speech it some how makes you seam trust worthy and familiar. i want to learn this skill can you please post a video tutorial video?
I have to get the video out on how I squint and blink at the same time first. People think it makes me look like an owl, and therefore very wise.
But soon!
Try shedul.com it's free and it's great!! (It's not an app but it can be bookmarked to be) It's originally for the beauty industry but it can be used for other fields as well.
Check out rapla ..
Steve, 3 years on... any new software or suggestions?
Yep
ruclips.net/user/edit?o=U&video_id=3zgIWZVVRFg
@@dottotech Hey!!! Thanks for such a nice and informative video... btw the link you have provided is not working anymore...
EVERMORE IS THE PERFECT SOLUTION FOR EVERYTHING
Raymond Gutierrez LOL, for MANY things, but not foe EVERYThiNG, n this case we need something else!
Are you still using TimeTrade, Steve? Thanks.
No I am on Book Like a Boss
Are you still using time trade steve? Looking at the comments you may have changed.
+Ardent Wealth I am using Schedule Once now, It has some integrations to wordpress I was missing in Time Trade, but they are all pretty good options.
8:30 you got a typo, you may want to change Skypw to Skype :)
Can't edit a video, it will have to stay...
dottotech haha I know, I didn't mean your video :) I thought you could have the typo still in your program on your website if you probably still use it :D
The gentleman should make the site himself, pay for maintenance, pay for marketing, pay for sales, to see how much he would charge for that service!
This is bad news now calendly allows you to embed for free
Yes, they all suck. I use the Google one, but still not perfect.
i like bookafy
what about calendarize it ?
Trevor Lee I have not tried it, are you using it?
I used it a couple of years back. I imagine that it's come a long way since then.
Thanks for all of the information that you provide so passionately. Just signed up for your newsletter.
Somewhat of a productivity junkie myself.
Trevor Lee Welcome aboard! there were so many options for this video!
So many options ! Like you, I remember spending weeks looking for something that worked all round. No success.
Primarily I was looking for a booking system that could be added onto multiple user accounts
Thanks :)
"Je ne sais suck." Heh
Please help me to solve this problem:::::::: Add connection to aweber so that any new subscriber from instaMember is automatically added to our Aweber list::::::::::How can I add connection ? Please help me
Dimitri Dimitri You need to ask Aweber for help, they have good support, and will walk you through adding the appropriate hooks to your website for list building.
Thank you for you suggestions and I also contacted them...really they are good people.....and thank you also
I talked to schedule once sales person and at the end I was wanted it less.
Currently I am using you can book me free me free account. I like it allot the only downside is I have to make all the calls because reminders cost. The upside is looks like to most powerful free option. Also it allows me to bill even on the free account. Also the pro account is a much better deal then schedule once
Also Doodle looks like a better deal then Calendly.
Time Trade I did not know about. At 49 bucks it looks a great deal. It never came up on my coaching calls with Mike Vardy, I will look into it more.
Michael Eger youcanbookme nearly made it into this video, it is a contender for sure!
dottotech i am playing with time trade and it reminds me of Doodle done by a old mainfame era webmaster. The thing with both doodle and time trade is it makes it hard to set limits on your time. while yes you could create a sleep callender to act as a filter it is much harder to mange then just setting the hours your willing to make appointments.
Youcanbook.me biggest flaw is free service is too good and its premium service costs too much for a single occasional user.
Youcanbook.me strengths is everyone can use them to bill appointments. It embeds in the website. I have a subdomain. And it one of the better looking booking pages. Also i belive youcanbook.me will feed gmail appontment contacts.
I personally value the youcanbook.me premium service at 80 bucks a year.
Good info but the focus was more on your face (that took 2/3 of the screen space) than the content of your video. May be, hide it when presenting.
Facts Facts....I am so frustrated
Steve take a look at Setatime.co see what you think
We use youcanbook.me. You can integrate it into websites and I put it on my Thank You pages after someone applies to learn more and they can book a time right from my site. It integrates with Google Apps and Gmail. Check it out.
Steve, great video. Thanks for sharing. We agree with many of your points as there are many different platforms available and none of them seem to have everything that you need. We made a video exploring some of the same platforms and some new players to the market. Would be interested to know what you are using now. Thanks - Nathan
