I kept expecting Eddie Murphy and Terence Stamp to pop in with cameos; that would've been so extra! The main child actor was a positive role model for kids, something that has always worked well in a Disney movie.
I was surprised to see that one of the Carols at the beginning was Marilou Henner. Given her resume, and abilities, I would've thought she'd have had a bigger role.

I personally think 🤔 this movie is not very good the actors seem forced to do their lines . Your reaction Good , Movie Bad i don't like it when a movie company just throws in a few famous Actors with a mediocre Film / Script and hope for the best .
