This game is like the kid-friendly version of Silent Hill. The screaming girl who lurked in the hallways as you had to run around going to each room scared the shit out of me
This game freaked me out so badly as a kid. I started playing American McGee's Alice and something made me remember Haunted Mansion after so many years.
One of the few games based on licenses that are not bad or mediocre...this game was terrifying when i was a kid...but now as an adult...its awesome...and perfect to play on the Halloween vibe of October. And to be fair...i liked it more than the movie, yeah i liked the movie but...not that much (it was ok, not bad, but ok).
Not gonna lie, yeah this game is awesome somewhat criminally underrated. I’d like to see this get a remaster, NOT a remake, keep the game as it is but give the graphics a good touch up.
My favorite game from my childhood. I actually bought a PS2 off Amazon just so I could play it again, for old times sake. Nightmare difficulty was surprisingly challenging, and the cheat codes you get after the credits surprised me because I wasn’t even aware they existed as a kid, so that was sorta like a bonus
Man some of these puzzles are nostalgic for me. Haven’t touched the game in years but I remember them perfectly. The grim reaper chase scene is still terrifying 😂

The last progress that was saved was in August 2013... I just plugged in the PS2 recently during quarantine and upon retrieving the very same game with the very same memory card from the basement, I was facing a game I had barely exceeded 10%... Thanks to discovery of the Invincibility cheat code online, I had literally zapped my way through 50%, something I never even dreamed about in my life... Here I am, 23 years old, playing a game I have played since I was just 6 years old, and finally being able to fully understand how to play it and make quick progress... It's only taken me nearly 17 years to figure it out!

I couldn't remember much about this game, only the spiders, running in the water and "foolish mortal". Nostalgia hit me hard when I saw that carpet. I can't believe I forgot about the hallway between levels and the screaming ghost; they haunted my nightmares for ages! It's also embarrassing that I never managed to get past the level at 1:16:00. It's so interesting to see what I missed out on!
Played this game when I was a kid, when I was too young to really understand it or know what was going on. I forgot about it until recently, and watching this now I'm legit being thrust into the past. All the audio is deeply ingrained in my memory, the ticking clocks, the screams omg

Considering it's a movie-tie in game to a movie that a lot of people don't like or care about, and with the recent reboot making LESS money than the Eddie Murphy one, I highly doubt that will ever happen.
