I think Sunil is a bigger part than just taking Viktor Sam's money. In the first episode he and Imogene are in the boat. She asks him if he is happy he gave up his miserable like in banking. He said he now has a purpose and he found a path and is following it.
That is a very good point. Its all happening fast now.
We were spot on. I thought the same as you a few weeks ago, but didn't think that NO ONE would not recognize Kira. In tonight's episode, Imogene tells "Victor" that Danny never forgets a face, yet he doesn't recognize Kira's face. Her own daughter doesn't. Lewellyn, who loves her doesn't recognize a resemblance. What a disappointing series!
Danny never met Kira Alive. He never saw her face to remember it. I ha e finished watching episode 9. I am going to record my video before watching episode 10.
But I am sure he saw a photo of Kira many times over the years if Rufus was working on her case. It is just unbelievable that not one person on the boat, not the governor, Ms. Chun, Lewellyn, heck even her own obsessive and observant daughter said to her, “You remind me of Kira”. Contacts and hair color are like glasses on Clark Kent.
Love your coverage of this show. I have always been suspicious of Hilde. She showed up after Sunil, who we can't trust either, or maybe his comms were hacked, he said "Interpol is sending their best man." Well, a man didn't show up. A woman did. And Rufus later says, "Our man was in plain sight." Does he say "man" in the sense of "our man" like "Interpol's best man" or does he say man because he means a male. She has been up to something the entire time. And I swear there was a moment between her and Jules where he smiled at her in a knowing/suspicious way.
the Hacked Comms, does make it seem like nobody except the kids social media followers know that anything has happened. if Hilda is Kira, then interpol is not sending anyone. this double episode finale is going to be interesting.
I don't see having the same actress for Hilde and Kira as insignificant, so that has to be Kira, but the only way it works for no one to say, "Holy $@$@--you're Kira!" is (and this would admittedly be hilarious) if Kira privately, individually, went to every damned person who would recognize her all, "I'm alive and I'll be on this ship undercover as Hilde. Don't give me away!", so that everyone thinks they're the only person who recognizes her and that they're keeping her secret from everyone else. As funny as that would be, it's not super credible. People would recognize her. They just would. So I just don't know how this works.
Its going to be intersting. And i suspect surprising..
I'm wondering if the twist is that Hilde is Kira twin out for revenge. They are probably the same person but i think the twin angle could be something
Yes. It could be twins... but i hope not. I hope its kiera and she is working with Rufus.
The Collier Family are living out “Fall of the House of Usher” in their family. AND…
1. Lawrence, in his confused state, does NOT explicitly admit to KILLING Kira. He says to Kira/Imogene “why did you leave me?” I think Lawrence knows Kira survived survived (may be due to the phone call Lawrence made)-but she left the Colliers to save her life.
2. I have a problem with the timeline of Ceila Chun’s background story. Mainly that when Llewellyn gave a 20-something yr old Ceila a $25k check, Llewellyn is OLDER than Ceila. In the present, Ceila is between 70-80 yrs old-but clearly Llewellyn is not older than Ceila. My question: is Ceila telling someone else’s story as her own? Is it her daughter (Eleanor’s mother) story? Why tell it as her own. Or, is it just a flaw in the writing/casting?
Can’t wait for the two episode ending next week.

Yes. It would be interesting if Kira and the chung family created viktor Sams as an alias. And now she is hiding in plainlist sight as Hilda Ericson...cant wait... thanks for watching!

Imogene is very selfish. At the end of episode one. I said she's going to get herself or people killed. Imogene is an a hole lol
