I mean, I had to "sit" on that draw. He played Dead Silence at 59:24 so I couldn't draw any new cards. There was no choice. Unless I'm misunderstanding your comment.
I love how terrified Hoffman is until, in the calmest voice you've ever heard, he says "Gimme another."

Hoffman clearly dosen't have a Voice in Survival Mode though cause He's Somehow Become infected with whatever Made the Mold Monsters.

And people get all frustrated when popular trading card games started to slightly change. At least it wasn't this level of bad and other moments in this video when you played those games.

Yeah I would Love to Play this in Multiplayer. The Closest I've seen to a Multiplayer Version of this is that Lynch Game on Steam Wich is still Not Finished and is still in Beta somehow.

I think one of the main reasons why they put a bag over Hoffman's head is to remove some of the humanity from the opponent. It would be kind of unnerving to actually see Hoffman's face during all of those moments of pain/death.

I think it's because you're not supposed to read emotions; if we were able to see his face they'd be forced to make a way more elaborated personality for Hoffman to tell if he's lying, bluffing etc or not or else it'd be unfair for the player if reading emotions wasn't accurate to real life.

What? Capcom being too lazy to render a face? When have they ever done that... to a main character... for two games... for no reason... (and even squandered the one perfect opportunity they had to make it all somehow pay off, and become a really cool part of the winters saga.
Literally, all they had to do, at the very end of the winters expansion. When Ethan becomes corporal in form again, and him and Rose have that moment together.
SHOW HIS FACE FINALLY.. its literally the characters last appearence in the franchise. He died 15 years ago, this is his ghost coming back to do this last thing, we'll never see him again. So its unnecessary to preserve this weird mystery face gimmick.
Matter of fact, it would have made it awesome to see it in this last moment. As his send off. And ALSO, it would make us as the gamer have a mirrored reaction to Rose. He died when she was a baby. She ALSO never saw his face.
Seeing it now would have made it emotional, connected our experience to Rose, and been cool as hell. A fantastic finale. But instead, they did weird austin powers crap to position the camera just right to obscure the great mystery of a white dudes face. They truly were just too lazy. And now it will never be more then just a weird design choice that added nothing and made no sense.
I'm so glad I was able to be there to watch it all go down live. It was an absolute blast! I was so invested in that game, especially with that final opponent pulling all those BS moves. Probably the most fun I've had on a stream in a long time!

I remember watching this stream live and the win was honestly amazing. I just can’t believe this happened 6 years ago. I still think about this stream every once in a while.
That last match was crazy as hell! Your reaction when that card "Oblivion" (the one where the round doesn't count) came out was priceless xD There should be an online mode for this version of 21. Pretty fun.
It would be awesome with an interactive mode where one person could be Clancy and the other is Hoffman. I mean, it could work in a best of 5 or best of 3 series.
They needed a bigger variety of voice lines/expressions and executions for a game this long, I think...

1:18:37 Oh! His cards though, when he did the perfect draw, he needed 6, but you had it, and he had 5, so he couldn't get that either, so he got a 4 instead, being at 19, and he tried to draw 3 after that but got 8 and went way over.
This was definitely the most amazing stream I've watched in some time. I'm extremely happy that I was able to be there witnessing it all live. Everything was SO TENSE!

21 Survival+ is insufferable. From the moulded opponent and beyond they always have a practically infinite supply of trump cards, most of which, you can never get anyway. I had 21 five hands in a row and still lost every single one of them, despite flawlessly calculating the opposing hand, due to bullshit trump cards. For example :-
Me: Dealt 11(5+6) and hit, giving a 10 and I have 21.
Opponent: Has a visible 9. Hits, getting a 7. Then uses black magic. I am now bust at 24 and can’t reverse it.
John is the man! It was a point while I was watching you stream, I'm like well he gave it his best shot lol, but as usual you went through all of the possible scenarios and figured it out. Great Resident Evil game and great person to watch play, thanks for the experience!

Highlights for me: three draws in a row, the attempted escape card, and the final opponent almost ending your ten-in-a-row win streak by cancelling your strategy.

I'm so glad I was able to make it to this one! Wasn't there for the full thing, came in a little before survival+ started, but I had a lot of fun! As well as several bouts of anxiety as I awaited the outcome of each round lol

That was amazing to watch. You were right on the money about Buckshot Roulette being just like RE7 21. Though there's not really any resemblance to Inscryption since that's like a full fledged TCG unlike whatever we could categorize Blackjack and Russian Roulette as and the stakes are so different. And I completely forgot ever seeing the DLCs as Mark and/or Pewdie barely touched them, so seeing these again was like unlocking a lost memory lol

Also Escape trump card changes the opponent, like you face against another guy with full health, but if you kill him before he escapes you win, or you can remove that trump card with Destroy. Best thing is to not let him run away or you face a harder opponent.
