Shy from Philly 🌺 B#1 Family 👋🏽 He is telling facts about how our enemies try to portray our beautiful African people‼ He was so intelligent to change the narrative with education and speaking the truth❣
The novel "Things Fall Apart" by Mr.Achebe had greatly influenced me. The part where the white man said why do you worship a tree. And the African said we do not worship trees but see the Creator in the tree. Same as you speak and you speak on the behalf of your Great White Father The King of England. I am paraphrasing here ,but the statement was to that effect. Shalom.

As American, I want to learn the history of these African countries from people who are still rooted there, and not from a colonizers book. I learned so much false history from the descendants of those who put my ancestors in chains and dragged to an already occupied “new world”. Thank you for everything that you are doing sir.
Things Fall Apart had a profound impact on my life. It clearly accounts the human toll of colonization. It really should be required reading for all students, worldwide.
Praise be to G-d, that he spoke the truth that Africans must accept the responsibility to write, publish and tell their own history from once being a Sovereign people to colonization and enslavement of their ancestors in the Americas. And then the descendants of those enslaved Africans in the diaspora must accept their responsibilities to write, publish and tell their history and reconnect with their brothers and sisters on the African continent with the aim of getting to know each other by growing business and cultural networks.
Absolutely a gentleman who understands we are all brothers an sisters regardless of stature an knowing a love for all is a love for all.God bless him...
I remember reading his novel "Things Fall Apart" at the University of Zululand (South Africa) and just how it opened my eyes and punched deeply into my soul. I just couldn't comprehend how much colonialism had messed up my culture. That novel made me a Pan-African. 😍 (look up the poem: Refugee Mother and Child) Also, shout out to Wole Soyinka. 🙌

Why would you say Nigeria is a problem of Africa? I'm Somali and Nigeria and us have had a very good and strong relationship. When we chased Siad Barre out of the throne, Nigeria took him because they respected us. So I wish you settle your differences and don't fight over colonial borders.
@@MohamedHassan-ni6un The issue is that Nigeria should be a world power but corruption and ethnic bigotry/neglect especially against the old Biafrans has killed the nation. That is why the old Biafra seeks restoration because we believe that the government has neglected us. Come in to our region and most of what should be built and handled by the Federal government where built by the people not even the state. Since the war the Federal government has refused to restore our infrastructure it instead went ahead to shut down more of them and left them be in an attempt to economically destabilise the region. Just completed reading Things Fall Apart. I didnt like the novel much. The anthropological frame of the novel is interesting but the male chauvanist perceptions of the tribal clans, treating women as inferior to men (there are many sentences in the novel describing'womanish feebleness' not suited to 'brave' and chivalrous men. I didnt like Okonkwo's tribal mind boasting cruel killing of fellow men and the tribe's mad following of supernatural gods and priests

Things fall apart is still one of fav book. Long live okonkwo
😄 in my country, when someone says "in his book Chinua Achebe says".. you stop whatever you are doing and listen.
What an inspirational, interlectural and gifted man. This is the sort of author whose books should be on the school curriculum.
I love Chinua Achebe. Also he remains very handsome. He stays important for all to listen to, white or black or other.
He passed away some years ago actually.

Things fall apart was what we read in Kenya.

Still relates to 2012. Sinfully nothing much has changed only more people are talking and listening, and getting knowledge and truth.
I read one of his books when I was little. It was sooo goood but I forgot the name though
Things fall apart you mean?
I have read Things Fall Apart so many times over...my two favorites with To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
Africa's best.
Excellent!
African one day we shall rise
Wisdom delivered by the humble man to a representative of the arrogant blindingly ignorant other clouded by centuries of delusions.
A true African treasure
The man, the legend.
Can you do a video about Kenneth Kaunda
Mungu Akubariki! Yes, OURSTORY. Frankly I don't care whether whites care or know their LIES. WE the diaspora MUST KNOW our TRUTH. Thank you.
That's my mentor
India's Mulk Raj Anand and Nigeria's Chinua Achebe were the greatest novelists of all time🤍🇮🇳
Human being is from Africa.
Nice

Loved his literature. May he Rest in Paradise.
Things Fall apart
He looks just like Nelson Mandela
The partnership of the whites and the blacks is the same as the partnership of the horse and rider... wow!!!
Thanks for taking the time to share your opinion Sean MusicUK.
The "good" white man. They are far and few between. He sees this now.I hope more and more Africans come to this conclusion each day. js
things fall a part
We have to tell our own story, we cannot allow black Americans do that
There partnership of the white man and Africans is of that of a horse and it's rider.
I wish that sign of African stories was removed so we could read every word and not just hear what this author was saying.
