I’ve used this coil. It works exactly as you have it set up. I had to extend the wire as well. I used an NGK splicer and a chunk of wire from my old coil.

Can i use the old ground wire if its still on the manifold? And do i need to ground it with a new bolt, or can i ground it under the nut holding the condenser on?

So is the yellow cable the hot wire ?
Yes the yellow wire goes to black/ white wire for the kill switch.

That’s a NGK spark plug boot, and I also have the NGK plug wire extender which I got it from eBay.
