Thank You So Much For All The Wonderful Memories of a Young Boy Watching it For The First Time At The Cinema in 1977. I was 9 years old and Have Been a Huge Fan of The Movies / Soundtracks Ever Since. But The Original Three Have Always Been My Favourites From John Williams 🎬
Your very welcome William. Yes I was 17 and remember it all vividly! I remember queing in a Hastings theatre here in New Zealand for around 30 minutes to get in. I remember Half Time (Intermission) right where the Intermission is in the video, just after Alderan got destroyed, and the projectionist changed the reels. You always knew it was at that time, as the film showed a little circle in the right hand corner, to let him know it was time to pop on a new reel! lol
That Never Happened With Our Showing. Not That I Can Remember, but I was only 9.
Your Could Be Right. Like Now Showing The Whole Movies On One Reel. You know The One Thing I Regret Growing Up Was Not Seeing The Empire Strikes Back Or Return Of The Jedi at The Cinema. The First Movie As a 9 Year Old Just Blew Me Away. I Thought There Was No Way They Could Top That. How Wrong Could Someone Be. But I Did Go And See All The Special Editions when they came out to make up for it.
I hope my local Cinema Is Showing The Anniversary Showing of Return Of The Jedi 🎬
