I would love for Faster Motorsports to build a 275 HP K series that they could swap into a 1992 or 1993 Acura Integra one day. Owning an Integra like that is my dream vehicle. I can only imagine their ability to build a quick Honda.
Im sure if you get in touch with the guys at faster Motorsports they will be more than happy to help you build a k series at that power level. Good thing is you don’t need much. I personally had one making close to 260 whp and it was a stock k20 with drop in cams. On e85.

@@josiahbutler2254 the block set up is definitely key to making more power between the piston size selection, compression ratio, stroke, etc, but fuel and fuel amount is also key in this. So using nitro methane and how much fuel they can throw at the motor to produce the power. Then the transmission set up plays a huge role as you want to effectively put the power down and keep it in the power band. It’s a lot of things that when they mesh together they make killer set ups like this.
But that VW is more of a full tube chassis car, this HONDA CIVIC is still a full stock chassis unibody car and weighs-in 1,850+ lbs and uses no "traction-bars"....Put that VW engine on a chassis with similar specifications and see if it can run 8.2s again.

Which also means we can run little less duration, thus not messing with overlap. And we do small chambers like Edyn, the clover chamber create to much localized turbulence, so we run the chamber a bit more open. So many more tricks, but I got out of racing so it doesn't matter to me anymore. Another big gain is how the pipe step angle matches with the exhaust port. And we keep area change at no greater than 10% in the primary. Greater than that begins to create adverse effects.
