    I saw Logan Cooley play live a few times this year. Definitely NHL ready right now. He gets faster with the puck on his stick. His skating and edgework are world-class. He sees the ice very well and plays with an edge. He's hungry out there and makes a difference on every shift. You notice him right away.

      Little late but I 100% agree. Such a skilled player and wouldn’t be surprised if he gets a 90-100pt season in the first 4-5 years of his career as long as the coyotes are playoff level competitive

    I was praying he'd fall to the Flyers at #5. Don't get me wrong I do like Cutter Gauthier so far. Back to Cooley, he gives off Peter Forsberg vibes. The Coyotes have a star on their hands.

      With the arena situation and him going back for another year in the NCAA they probably end up trading him or he waits until he can hit the market like Blake Wheeler did 15 years ago

    • @dbarts14
      @dbarts14 Год назад +2

      he’s coming. between the arena deal and not winning it all, he just wants to finish hockey related business in minnesota before coming over. if they won it all, arizona got their arena passed or both, he’d be in the kachina in october. he and his camp are frequently in touch w the organization including in the offseason. it’s not about not wanting to be in arizona.

    • @TChockey
      @TChockey  3 месяца назад

      back in the day he was looking like the best… could still be in the futur but right now slaf > cooley

    • @BRad-bh8bx
      @BRad-bh8bx 3 месяца назад

      @@TChockey why was he looking like the best "back in the day"?? Slaf stepped in and played a regular spot in the NHL immediately. Cooley didn't even get a game. No matter how Slaf played, being an 18yr old regular 4th liner in the NHL when nobody else in the draft got more than a game or two puts you lightyears ahead of the pack. If the Habs drafted Cooley, he would never have been talked about like this. Especially because he wouldn't have played in the NHL right away. He would have been too small, too soft, etc etc etc lol
