As of Jan 2023, I’m ecstatic to report that Jess is still with us, has no new tumor growth & is happily living her life with Dan & their animal friends. I adore this couple & want them to thrive in every way possible! ❤️
The love of my life passed away 7 months ago. We were married 32 years. Before we knew he was sick I used to tell him that I wanted to die before him because I couldn't live without him. He said I had to stay to take care of and to love the grandkids, whom he adored, if that happened. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for them I would not be here today. I have to remind myself everyday that he wanted me to stay here with them. And, the last thing he asked of me was to promise him that I would always be his wife. It felt like a marriage proposal all over again. I promised him I would. I love you my love, then, now and forever.
Your story *that brief little snippet that you shared with us, thank you so much for that*...touched me so much Esther...I get the very strong sense that he is very near to you because of that. I am so sorry for your loss love.
Wasc Lit congratulations for 51 yrs of marriage. Believe me I’m sure she knows how you feel but I imagine you telling her that would make her love you more but f that is possible.
@@mrsformo Of course I did and I do it every day. Due to her health issues she can't do much so I do all the cooking, cleaning, laundry, and it's ok. She did it for me so it's my turn. Besides, thanks to RUclips - cooking has become my new hobby. I love making homemade bread - hot out of the oven and slap some real butter on a slice - nothing better.
Hi my name is Jason borkowski and I'm 45 years old and I have stage 4 brain cancer last January and I know what it feels like. I am grateful for every day I wake up. Amen
Hi Jason. I wish for you many, many more days and years of waking up for you. I wish and pray that you would be healed. God bless you and keep you safe and well. 🙏🙏🙏🤗🤗🤗
I'm just 34 and still not having a girlfriend but still watching this and still not understanding how is it going to work for me. Still ambitious but also scared.
When Dan started to say "The thing that scares me the most is..." I was waiting for him to say "losing her." To hear him say that what scares him the most is for her to be scared at the end and he won't be able to help her just broke my heart. What a selfless man. One the of the most selfless things I've ever heard anyone say. I truly hope they have many happy years together.
That statement Dan made about being scared for her at the end really made me weep... I pray that they both put faith and hope in Jesus. They will be together in heaven with belief in him. Dan and Jess are such an inspiration to what christ like love in marriage is. God bless them for sharing this touching story. I'm grateful to have heard it. Thank you Dan and Jess. ❤
A close friend of mine was diagnosed with terminal brain tumor at 17. She's 61 now & has gone through bowel, thyroid & liver cancer. She's never given up despite being told numerous times she is terminal & has lived to have a career & raised a child of her own.
@@patriciamosenyehimotsomi4729 I am doing MY part to help you & everyone else suffering these terrible diseases. I am 60 years old and I will NEVER give up on my dreams of reversing death and bionanotechnology to reverse aging by applying differential algebra. And I proudly vote Green Party: Dr Jill Stein 2024, to equalize wealth and labor and to force government to give universal healthcare to everyone who deserves it (so obviously NOT to fanatical hypocritical antisocialists, anticommunists). Thank Socialism / Communism for your lives!
when she says " I hope he remembers me as the love of his life, even if he finds someone that makes him happy, not more happy than me". Thank you. For being real, for saying exactly what everyone that truly loves someone thinks, for truly loving him. Not the typical I hope he finds someone bullshit. You two are precious
i disagree. what a mean thing to let "your love" have a bad feeling about new relationships for the rest of his life, especially when your own is coming to an end at 35. what if he tries to never fall in love with someone else after her death because he is scared to love his new girlfriend more than her? i would never wish that on my boyfriend. he would be devastated if i died and that alone would destroy a huge part of his life. i would wish, that he could someday overcome his grief and find a new love - the same love or maybe even a deeper love that he had found with me. and i think so BECAUSE he is the love of my life. i wish him nothing but the best. not less.
TrueCrimeRIP true but I get what she means. You like to think when you get married that you are the person who could make them the happiest in the world. But she still wants to find someone who makes him equally happy, but not more as that would diminish what they have for each other now. X
Linda Cuerrier yes that’s true, that’s like I had my ‘first love’ before my long term relationship (which I would class the love of my lifetime). The first love feelings are so intense, and my next love was different but in no way invalidates it!
I cried like a baby. Not because she is dying but because of the sweet, unconditional love they have for one another. It is a kind of love that many people don't ever get to experience in their lifetime.
I'm a 75 year old man watching this at my home in New Zealand....crying like a baby, just such a wonderful young lady and it just isn't fair. I so hope that you continue to live a lovely life.
That's real love right there. His biggest fear isn't losing her. It's how she'll feel in her last moments. It's always about her in his mind. Beautiful.
My wife of three years left me when I got cancer. I was not supposed to survive ,but I did ! She is still single living a fake life of who, what, where, how much, titles. I reunited with a beautiful brunette from 1988, we currently live together with her daughter and my son. Cancer comes and goes in my life, but I'm still here. My lady from 1988 is a wonderful person,it was meant to be.
This man was raised by a good mother who taught him how to be selfless towards others. She is beautiful! He deserved to marry her, both are wonderful, she healed because he was very supportive to her. May they both be a long lasting couple.
This both are so lovely 😍 I have cancer, cup syndrome. when I was diagnosed I in June 2018 I was already stage 4 with 4 metastases in brain, 3 in lung 1 kidney and several in lymph nodes. The doctors said I'll be dead before Xmas 2018. Still alive and fighting after 5 brain surgeries, 3 abdominal surgery, 35 radiations. So every day is a gift and I am happy 😊 I have no partner, but friends and family. I try to keep alive as long as I can
@@tianna1116 I'm doing OK for now😃 still alive 💪 Waiting as everyone for the end of lockdown 🤷♀️ Hope you're all doing well. Hard times now for all of us 🤗
Having to say no to the LOVE OF YOUR LIFE when he proposes due to the burden of medical bills... Our health care system is so broken. Im glad they got their dream wedding. She is RADIANT, and he is amazing.
I always take healthcare for granted, I have spent so much time in hospital, I lost my right leg, my care was amazing, doctors and nurses were fantastic, luckily we have free health care we are so fortunate that our NHS costs absolutely nothing! It must be so hard trying to pay for surgery, I would never be able to afford it so I would be dead now!
Exactly. People don't go to the doctor cause of the fear that they will not be able to afford the bill. My mom will not go to the doctor until she absolutely has to because of the bill. Its absolutely heartbreaking. There has to be a way to make health care cheaper without raising taxes of those same people who already struggle.
I might have Crohn's Disease, and, despite living in a developing country, I don't want to go back to the US because medical care could cost me $10,000 annually, which is on the low end of the spectrum.
I had given up on love after being in love with the wrong person for years... seeing this has made me realise there's love, i'll wait for it now, not give up on it.
Wangeci Wanjiku there is love i am 7mths in with the love of my life & i am nearly 50.i am ever so grateful & have the most sincere, genuine, loving thoughtful man i am very lucky
Wangeci Wanjiku Just finished watching this and after just not being able to get the love thing right for years, I just got around to deciding that it maybe just isn't for me.....Watched this and it has opened my eyes. There's hope for me yet!
@ Wan’Wan (sorry didnt spell it all out) but YESSSSS SAME HERE i’ve married the WRONG PERSON TWICE! but after watching this I’ll WAIT and NOT GIVE UP!!! THANK YOU God, Dan & Jess! 💙💙💙
When I got diagnosed with cancer I was 34 . My husband not for once complained about nothing . He has washed my hair, has waited in front of the theater for 8 hours even when the doctor has sent him away. I just realized to say thank you more often.
She is going to be one of the 1% who will survive this!!! She is so positive and grateful and has the best family and friends who love her to the moon and back! Lots of ❤️
Little miss sunshine I believe she will..her outlook is amazing...I really hope so! Did you see the video were some evil person pulled up all her flowers she planted in her yard...she had so many and she worked so hard! I am so mad someone could do that!
I don't think positivity has anything to do with survival rates, I've known positive people who had great relationships, and they have died. It also has nothing to do with beauty either. At the same time some people who have no one and have despair and have lived. It's all about how bad the cancer is, and the treatment.
I have sat in the waiting room 4 times whilst my husband has had brain surgery. He isn't the same as the man I married but he is still the one for me and we have been married 23 years.
@Irmi Schopf I'm with you on that.... But we still do have our hardships. I live in QUÉBEC and we are taxed up that YING Yang... .(I believe it's the most in North America I once heard)... . for what we got... which some times is not much. But as they say up here.... . C'EST LA VIE.
I could not watch this video without tears streaming down my face. Brought back memories of my true love. He had a brain tumour that was aggressive and malignant, also fast growing. I was married to him for two and a half years. I felt so loved by him and I also loved him immensely. Everybody loved him. He passed away at 39.
She survived and is happily married. Love each day to the fullest and Thank God we wake up to see the sun. I have had two brain cancer surgeries and my last was March 4th. I am grateful and beyond the life that I have. Never be afraid and never doubt on your worst day. Cause there is another day that will be better for sure. Love yourself and always think positive. That’s the BEST Medicine 🙏🏻
I had a ruptured brain aneurysm 15 years ago. I'm very lucky to be here. It has changed my life. I hope you guys are doing good. Being positive has alot to do with how you heal. Best wishes!
As my beloved mother-in-law laid dying in a hospital bed, her husband of 60+ years came in to say his final farewell to his sweetheart. I moved away from the bed to allow him to get as close as he could do she'd be able to hear him. I also sought to give them privacy without causing them to feel like this moment in their life was being deliberately intruded upon. I remained in the room ( I'm in the medical field ), only to provide medical support like suctioning her airway. After 10-15 minutes I noticed my father-in-law had an almost beatific expression on his face as he leaned in and whispered to his wife, "Thank you for giving me such a beautiful life" as he kissed her for the last time. THIS is how I wish to be remembered. THIS is the kind of legacy I hope to leave behind. I want to live the rest of my life with love, caring and an open heart like my mother-in-law. Thank you Nana for sharing your life with me... I'm both blessed and grateful that I had you as an example of how everyone should try to live their lives.
Oh how beautiful!!! I've been suffering from depression and other mental illness problems and this has inspired me to take a different approach!!! What a true real life love story and how beautiful she is!! Dan is such an amazing man! I've never experienced a love like theirs!! God bless you both always and thank you for sharing your life
@Meh! EXACTLY!!!!! and it was BEAUTIFUL! this is NO WAY an indication that Harry & Meghan arent happy BUT u can have ALLLLLL the royalty in the 🌎 and STILL NOT be happy!! well on that note Diana was NOT happy!
Fate brought you Dan because you needed that person right then in your life. That kind of love is precious beyond words. I’m so glad you have him. I can understand why he wants to be with you. You shine from the inside.
This is such a fantastic love store. Will we be getting updates. I need to get my life together and to love as genuinely as you two do. Simply amazing. I have learned so much from you guys. What a beautiful wedding. Hope you remain as happy as you were in this video. Love to the two of yo.
You go Jess ❤️. My Son is living with terminal GBM stage 4 brain cancer. He was given 3 to 6 months to live in 2011. He’s still alive and thriving in 2020. Like you he suffered from seizures post surgeries/radiation but drugs keep them at bay (mostly). There is always hope XOX.
Marcie Braelyn, you are so right. The wonderful mother and son look alike and are both like angels (maybe they truly are). Be happy & healthy at all times.
as of today may 25th, 2022, beautiful jess and her amazing husband dan are still married and enjoying their lives to the fullest. she just celebrated her 13th anniversary post diagnosis :)
I'm confused...So on her wedding day, as she's dancing with Danny during the wedding dances, ( and he's not her husband), she buried her head in his chest? On Her Wedding Day. THEN she skips a few years ahead, to, Danny asking her out in a date. How cute?? People take the marriage vows so lightly sometimes. They use people like tissue paper.
What a beautiful couple ! Other guy's need to take a look at Dan. He is the total description of a real man ! Loving, loyal, hard working & he has a true & gentle kindness in his soul. May they enjoy many year's of true love ! God bless them 😊🙏❤
I lost my wife 4 yrs ago! I hardly cried till then. I was raised that men don’t cry! She gave me reason to live! Now I live to share the goodness she taught me! Beautiful video! Thank you and god bless you!
Micky God bless you your wife will be so proud of you because you can never go wrong with spreading good will to be kind its amazing how much power our words hold as well as kind gestures may not mean much to some but could mean the world to others thank you for being one of lifes good guys
Her attitude is just amazing. She puts mine to shame. She's beautiful inside out. God bless her and may they live, love, and laugh for many years to come.
He really is an amazingI man. 🙏 I guess if you really love someone, you feel their pain..... I Also have nerve related auto-immune syndrome. (30 years now) My husband left...now his new wife has the same syndrome....
I'm watching this and crying Unconditional love is truly an amazing thing! My husband did everything for me when I couldn't and without me asking. The joy and love you both have just radiates through this video.
Ugh, that is so beautiful that your husband does everything for you without asking. I am so disconnected from my partner snd it's devestating. I feel as though we will never work, ever, and we have a son. It's not that we dont live each other, but he is not living life...and he is still a "manchild" in many ways. And I hate that word, manchild..but you get the idea of what I mean. He has growing up to do..namely..soending less time thinking about, researching, obsessing ovee, and playing video games ..and more time loving his family, helping his stepson with teaching him life lessons and writing assignments, teaching oir younger son how to behave, loving on me! :p
@@TheKatarinaGiselle I have one of those as well. I believe their mothers ruined them from an early age. It's like they just don't know how to put others before themself and be the caregiver and responsible one. It's so disheartening. Prayers that our "manchildren" grow up and learn to be our "knights in shining armor," so we too, can think they hung the moon.
I cried through this whole video. The day before my AVM aneurysm surgery I found out my husband was cheating on me. We had 2 young daughters and I only had a 30% chance for survival. I lost my left lung and had many surgeries. I divorced him 2 years later. He took all our savings, our bank accounts were emptied and I had to go on food stamps for a year just to survive until a judge ordered him to pay. He did pay everything until the girls were 18, but I lost everything. I fought back, became a nurse with a full scholarship! I've never have found a true love. Now I"m 60. I do have a identical twin who's been there for me.
This story really got to me. I got married to Steve in 1981. He was diagnosed with melanoma before we married. He died before our first anniversary. I wish you two the best life you can have together. I pray God bless you both. I pray for Jess's total healing.
I lost my Prince June 22, 2020 to a massive stroke, he was 58 and I'm 62. Everyone thought it would be me first, (Rare Cancer, long Company, 2 lung Disease's and Asthma caused by the Ventilator) I miss my love terribly. I hope Jess and Dan live forever, this world needs more love. ❤
I lost my prince the same way. He was 44 when he died of a massive Stroke. He was a Tissue and an organ donor. I made sure of that. Someone in this world has his eyes. Someone has his lungs someone has his kidneys. He died March 10th 2009.
I don't know who said this, and I didn't understand what it meant back then, but after reading some of these beautiful comments I know now " It is better to have loved and lost Than to never have loved at all" I may not have quoted this exactly, but you get the gist. I am so glad for all of you lucky ones out there that found your prince charming. As hard as it is to lose the love of your life, I think it is much sadder to have never experienced the joy that true love brings you, especially if you know someone who has it. I was 42 when I found mine years after a very bad marriage. I didn't think true love would ever find me. 14 months after our marriage I found out I had stage 4 breast cancer. The Drs. gave me 1 month to live. They removed both my breasts and suggested I try the strongest chemo they had. They said the chemo itself might kill me, but I was definitely going to die if I didn't try it. They gave me a 10% chance it would work. I was madly in love with my new husband, so I did it. It made me deathly I'll, caused some brain damage & a little memory loss, but I survived it. It has been 20 years since my ordeal. I eventually recovered & things were a fairytale for 8 years. Then my prince slowly got Dementia. As time progressed he began to forget things until he finally forgot who I was. He couldn't remember our fairytale love for each other, although I remembered every bit of it. I kept him with me till it was impossible to keep him home. I found out from relatives that the same thing happened to his father. I found a beautiful place for him to live until he passed 14 years ago. I have never remarried. There will never be another one like him. Here's to all the prince charmings out there who make our lives unforgettable & to the women who were lucky enough to find one.
It's hard you almost feel wrong giving these videos a thumbs up evem though they're sharing an amazing story and how they are bravely tackeling it it's sad and you want to hit thumbs down for the fact they are having to go through it so without any choices but 2 I'm dure that is why tbey give a thumbs down they need a sad choice. I am currently on hospice yet even then I struggle to hit thumbs up if you understand that.

This AMAZING story of a lifetime has not only restored my belief in miracles, but also in true love as well. I'm so happy that they are together. I hope she is continuing to do well with no new tumor growth. May God continue to bless this very special couple and their loved ones.
My name is Jane, my husbands name is Dan. I was diagnosed in 2010 with a brain tumor, underwent a 10 hour surgery, was told the tumor was benign but awoke with the entire right side of my face paralyzed. I’ve lived with the new me ever since. They didn’t remove the entire tumor, each year I have to get a MRI to see if there’s regrow. I have had numerous re-construction surgeries. This has helped greatly, but I will never look the same, smile the same, my DAN has told me he doesn’t notice a difference when he looks at me, or the love he feels for me. There is a major difference. He doesn’t see it. The story I just watched wrenched at my heart, Jess & Dan are both so adorable, a love like that is rare. They will both be in my prayers. Sincerely, Jane
‘ These are the legs that I shouldn’t be able to walk on. This is the mouth that I shouldn’t be able to speak from. This is the birthday I shouldn’t have had.’ BALLING. What a beautiful way to put it.
They both remind me of my nephew and his wife. He was given 2 months for the same cancer and lived 3 1/2 years. They fought hard, started a fiundation and even were blessed with another son. RIP James J. Hanson (JJ) "Can't Hurt Steel"💚🍀
Lord, I cried a river that ran into an ocean while watching this. Dan's parent's raised a great man, and Jessica's parent's raised an even greater woman. I'm so happy to know that she is doing well...living and loving life😍😍😍🙏
This is so inspiring, because my wife, my girlfriend for 17 years (and counting) was diagnosed with cancer in her salivary glands last July, but she won the disease, the surgery was successful. I've been with her all time and I'm so blessed to have her with me right now, keeping me strong and happy. My respects to the Couple. Love is wonderful. Cheers to all from Brazil.
I was holding back tears and lost it when her friend told her she had received a special gift... Her dream dress from Nicole Miller crushed it...so beautiful, he'll never find anyone who will compare
May God bless you as He has me. In my late 20's both of my lungs collapsed and I spent about 5 months on life support and had death spoken over me so many times. "She probably won't make it through this" or "this is probably going to kill her" and so on and so forth and next month I officially become a senior citizen God willing. Miracles still happen and anything is possible to those who believe.
What a beautiful love story. No one has the right to be together more than these two. She is an amazing individual and she married her perfect match. Thank you for such an inspirational story.....💙🙏
I've watched this story several times, because they are genuinely good loving people. A perfect couple who teach a lesson of what true love is. I am so inspired by their strength and compassion.
Imagine knowing for sure that someone loves you like this. They don't care about anything they just want to be with you. From her illness came the most beautiful blessing. God bless her sweet heart, her husband and her family!
My Husband passed away 2 1/2 years ago because of cancer and I'm so lucky that I had 25+years with the everloving man of my dreams, I still have a huge crush on him😘😍, this couple reminds me that true love is So exceptional and precious, God Bless you forever😘😍😍

maybe not everyone feels the same way.
i disagree. what a mean thing to let "your love" have a bad feeling about new relationships for the rest of his life, especially when your own is coming to an end at 35. what if he tries to never fall in love with someone else after her death because he is scared to love his new girlfriend more than her? i would never wish that on my boyfriend. he would be devastated if i died and that alone would destroy a huge part of his life. i would wish, that he could someday overcome his grief and find a new love - the same love or maybe even a deeper love that he had found with me. and i think so BECAUSE he is the love of my life. i wish him nothing but the best.
She means the next shouldn't be loved as her when they aren't responsible for what is happening to her.selfish

henessy3022 really makes you think how our medical operations are working, so sad.
henessy3022 yeah so sad. Thankful I live in Canada with no financial burden
No one should get married unless they love each other this much. Two people really becoming one.

I don't think positivity has anything to do with survival rates, I've known positive people who had great relationships, and they have died. It also has nothing to do with beauty either. At the same time some people who have no one and have despair and have lived. It's all about how bad the cancer is, and the treatment.

@@tmalcolm6138 Hey.
Me too.

I don't know who said this, and I didn't understand what it meant back then, but after reading some of these beautiful comments I know now
" It is better to have loved and lost
Than to never have loved at all"
I may not have quoted this exactly, but you get the gist.

My name is Jane,
my husbands name is Dan.
The story I just watched wrenched at my heart,
Jess & Dan are both so adorable, a love like that is rare. They will both be in my prayers.
Sincerely, Jane

The Best video I have ever seen in my life..Thank you 💜
You deserve to Live Forever
I agree--this impacted me more than almost anything I've ever seen. SO beautiful.
Not forever, but the sentiment was well expressed. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
A L the dead know nothing being with the Lord is to be determined at a unknown date and time....next time save your typing skills for somebody else

REREAD Corinthians.
Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Save your rebuttal if it isn’t well thought.
A L u still talking, watch the video your focus should be on that not my comment..you need more to do..move on
I am so happy that they are able to have a good life after this shitty diagnosis. My wife and I had high hopes after she was diagnosed with stage 4 gastric cancer in 2019. She passed July 2020, but stories like this make me happy that we lived the life that we did.
Bless you, I grieve your loss for you. My sister lived only a year and a half post diagnosis.
From a total stranger I'm sorry for your loss I just lost my fiance on 11/8/22 she was crossing the road at night and a DUI hit her and ran.....they finally caught this idiot but it doesn't bring her back, so I know where you're coming from. It doesn't get easier like some people say but hopefully it'll become a little more manageable over time. Peace be with you
