May I say. I’ve watched RUclipsrs do FM starting with DoctorBen… and the Salford Story, Parma Drama, upto his later stuff with my personal favourite Glory Hunter. To the other of the spectrum with Rashidi’s channel too.. so many others to mention. Your channel has surpassed all of them in my opinion. Wonderful work with a completely fresh outlook on the game. It’s inspired me to go attributeless on your skin - and crest my own percentile ranking spreadsheet to analyse everyone. So invigorated! Thanks again and keep up the work, look out for your videos daily!
Oh yeah, my scouting method works and constantly gets B+ players and above… You can also get specific players for your team based on statistical breakdown. Such a refreshing way of playing the game 😀
Those are exceptionally kind words, thank you!! I hope that I can continue to create something fresh and interesting. Might never be able to push something out daily, but this two-a-week tempo is hopefully here to stay (work commitments allowing)! Also delighted to hear you embracing the world of attributeless and that you've created your own percentile based approach. Just finishing off tomorrow's video (well, technically today's as it is currently 2am) - where I'll be diving into the pizza charts and how I use them to identify tactical shortcomings and recruitment foci. It's one I'm super excited by, so hopefully others will find it interesting, too!
If you ever had the time would love to show you how I do it, over a teams meeting or similar - it really is very effective and I’ve been able to break it down into “types” of player in each position. To the point of creating said tactic identity. You could then potentially see if it’s something that could be incorporated into one of your skins? Open either way to help as not one to post on these things.
I applied your way of choosing the OI where you identify the threat or focus play and then you steer it away and I have seen some unbelievable results. Absolutely demolished my rivals 8-1even though they are better than my team ,also managed to qualify to Champions league group with a team that has a £3.7m/year wage budget. Great video, thank you
Glad to hear it's working for you. In the right circumstances it can be absolutely devastating. There have definitely been some games (mainly in FM23) where I've done it and it's gone horribly wrong, though 😂
It looks good, doesn't it!! One of the advantages of being a relative big fish in a small pond. Lots of very winnable games 🤣 I think of it like Villa being in the Championship - it was much more fun winning games even in the years we didn't get promoted, than it was the previous years in the Premiership losing every week!
Last week, when you mentioned that you named your diamond-shaped formations after fake diamonds, I related. When the next sentence was something like, "Yes, I'm also this insufferable in real life", I learned something about myself. But this week's image of a Labrador in a field of toddlers may have topped both. So good.
Not just in our squads...everyone needs a Larry somewhere in their life!! Yeah, super pleased with the start. Sure, the only "difficult" game was AEK, but can only beat what is in front of you.
I know you've done a video about your skin. But any chance you could do a deep dive, like fully going in to how you look and assess players, team & match day. How each screen, circle & chart is used. I'm trying to use it on lower league management in Sweden (Graham Potter Challenge) & its really hard & confusing, taking some getting use to. A beginner tutorial would be appreciated haha Also just as a suggestion for a possible button, a key for the circle ranges (Plus anything else), I took a screenshot from your skin video and have to keep looking at it to get the number range. Be nice if it was in the skin to view. I aint got great memory (medical issue)
If you haven't changed the attribute ranges in the past, you can see the default ranges (which is what the skin uses) by going to Preferences and searching Skin Colours. Here it has the threshold for each range. I stuck to the default ranges as it is what the game uses normally for colouring attributes - e.g bands of 5 (1-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20). I will look at adding a pop-up, but the next update for the skin is unlikely to be for a while. I have some videos that touch on some of those subjects already: Own player assessment: ruclips.net/video/kgD80sAX8AY/видео.html Scouting players: ruclips.net/video/RV_f07Wet3w/видео.html Assessing opposition: ruclips.net/video/g-hUx6NPEok/видео.html I will touch on all those subjects at various times throughout this save, but when they naturally come up.
Kiev and Wien are the type of teams you want there: beatable but big-ish names. That's the sort of opposition you want to get into European football for.
To disable them you need to edit the file Mustermann Iconic/sections/sidebar sections.xml in a text editor like notepad. Search for the following line: You need to "comment them out". This means adding after. Once done it should look like this: Then save. Open up FM and reload the skin, with caching off. If you also want to disable staff search, that is a separate line in the same file:
Hopefully "Larry" never hears this, or if he does, he doesn't realise I'm talking about him! A couple of comments about in-game sounds. Ironically, I actually reduced the levels for this episode, but looks like I need to go a little bit further!
Hello mustermann, love your content and a big user of your skin, I have a question regarding a past video of yours, I know I could comment on that video but I went on this one because I feel recency gets more attention, it's regarding the usage of data to recruit video, I want to know how do you do to click and dismiss a bubble, I can't explain better because English is not my first language, but you click on a bubble and it becomes transparent, I watched several tutorials and Im very confortable with the program but just can't find a way to do that.
You'll be pleased to know that I reply to all comments on all videos - so whenever you have a question, feel free to ask on the specific video. Regarding the bubbles, I have cross filtering on, so when clicking on that bubble it will filter the other charts. I can't remember if it's Ctrl + Click or Shift + Click for selecting multiple. Then just click anywhere else on that graph to reset.
It did. YT told me I needed to consider changing the thumbnail and/or title, so I've caved in. "Larry" was much more fun, but I do concede that it wasn't very helpful in conveying what the video was about 🤣

Can't wait to see how the tactic holds on and how we perform in the conference league.
It's going to be interesting when we play against good teams. Reckon we'll get ripped apart in Europe!!

Seeing that schedule with all them green dotes that is the dream

I can only apologise! Although, if it's any consolation, I'm finding it very reassuring that I'm not the only one!!
Big, big set of results here and we can all use an overly enthusiastic lad like Larry on our squads tbh
