Sounds great. I don’t know if it’s because of the amp you’re using but the pedal has A lot more gain than I expected.
It has a lot of gain - I have the basic grey Herc and the Pink Susmaryosep. This version of the herc has a lot of gain, with either clipping option (I eventually switched the Herc side to the original clipping instead of the new one it’s set too (Zen?)). The BB side of it has quite the mid-nose… i prefer my JHS Morning glory or the blue side of the Protein more than Zach’s version of the BB circuit. I like the other versions of the Herc more than this one, they play better with all of my amps and guitars. This new Herc Deluxe sounds great with my Strat into my TK Imperial Mk II, but I don’t like into into my Cali Tweed. Finally, with both sides on, and both set to lower gain, it does sound quite nice…. With the BB side going into the Herc.

Great playing as always. This pedal is definitely more fuzzier than some of the dualies like the Unobtainium or Gladio Cornerstone. Maybe a better match for rock instead of blues.

Nah...There are less expensive pedals made in EU like VS Audio Royal Flush or Kasleder Toxic Twins that are the real KOT killers.

As for this Mythos pedal…, I’m afraid to say that I felt a little underwhelmed by the sound of it. Maybe my expectations were just too high. 🤷🏻♂️
I think the problem is RJ can make anything sound fantastic, hard to discern just how good a pedal actually is. Dude is a very underrated guitarist, great improv skills sign of an accomplished player. I thought I would be crazy over this pedal as I was looking for a great BB circuit. Sadly I had to send this one back, had some weird grounding issue, power jack would make noise. Probably just a fluke. I wasn't crazy over the Herculean side, switch to soft clip was better for me.
Some beautiful intro playing, you can tell you're properly digging this pedal. No talking necessary.
The AI generated image in the thumbnail is disappointing. Is it necessary to make your video and the pedal look like a bad mobile ad? Great playing, but yeah, disappointing to see that as artists, musicians even, are struggling even more.
