I think people got a lot better at getting out of techchase, with ambiguous di and no techs things have gotten way harder to react to
I thought that SWT was a major that was barred from being a supermajor due to the lack of some people such as Zain, Mang0, and Leffen. Was I misinformed and it was actually just a regional or super-regional? Or was it that Plup pulled out the Fox?

the worst top tier is Peach, look at how no body has won with her since Armada stepped away.. but in the right hands maybe she is the best character in the game? (except vs. Puff)
People seem to forget the massive difference in usage rate between spacies and Peach. You could argue that spacies are the most popular because they're perceived as the best, but they're also popularized by certain streamers. While Peach usage is extremely low, the top players make up for the numbers. Trif has been #2 in Europe for a while, Llod is top 10 player, and the SWT tournament had like 4 Peach mains in top 8. If you measure the average placing by usage rate, Peach would probably be the best (Yoshi has an even lower usage rate, but also a bigger placing disparity between aMSa and everyone else. Similar story with Jigglypuff)

and ur wrong lol falcon has two winning match ups vs two other top tiers, icies and peach. sheik has 3 winning match ups vs falcon, peach and Marth. Peach only beats icies. she loses to the rest of the top tiers
Falcon easily worst top tier. Bullies all below virtually. Still an insane character to be a top tier to begin with, but yeah, frame data bites falcon when he's up against other top tiers.
Though if we're speaking in terms of SOLOing, Falcon is one of the best to not need a secondary.

... Yeah, I think that seems like the top tier group to me. Falcon CAN jump to or already be at #5 really, I'll accept him being on par with Sheik. Both Falcon and Sheik suffer limitations that will cap them at 5 tops imo, but its just that Falcon is the EASIER of the two to exploit due to frame data and simplicity, whereas Sheik is a little more nuanced.
I swear that both Falcon and Sheik getting their opponent above CC percent is a magic trick. Clearly it happens, but I don't really understand how they manage it reliably without eating a heavy punish.

@@ajajajaj6336 Two stylistically tough matchups and one slightly losing matchup and the rest comfortably not losing to dominant matchups isn't bad for a potentially 2nd best character. Personally, I think Sheik was for the longest time held back by wobbling being legal and by the three best players in the world being a puff and two foxes, as well as the best sheik players in the world, Plup and M2K, not feeling particularly loyal to the character and switching off for harder matchups.
