Take that engine out use the block from a eclipse 3g then look for a 2002 Hyundai Sonata 2.4l use the crank shaft and the head and you will have a evo8 engine for less 500 hp stock block
That 1/2" wrench gave my boi GT a heart attack 😂. That sounds good bro! Very cool addition to the lab rat. No need to install that turbo on Vexy, just send her over to me😅
Off the topic of turbo... You guys have any opinions on shooting single stage, when it warms up wet sand clear? Like to try out Black Crystal Emerald on old Accord pealing emerald? Gallon kit of single stage is cheaper then Gallon of base only. PNW weather in an unheated shed....
You mean hot side/ exhaust to the left and cold side right? I was going to do that, but I didn't want the exhaust down pipe and intercooler pipes crossing each other 🙅🏻♂️ I have a video from a while back when I added the first turbo, not sure if you ran across it ruclips.net/video/Fap2uCfuYEQ/видео.html
any advice with tha setuup if i want to add some oil cooler, how oil line should add? from turbo to cooler than return to oil pan. or using oil filter sandwich?
Here's one: www.ebay.com/itm/374995554015?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=bqoci8ncrts&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=CTAfxORLSuu&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Price is higher than when I got mine tho, but they are becoming so rare. Unless you're good with a welder, you can try building one.. (I made one myself)
Yeah! I was doing about 5-7 psi on completely stock engine & ecu. Only thing that's aftermarket is the fuel pump (i put a kemso 340lph) & fuel pressure regulator.
No, this used to be N/A until I turbocharged it. I'm actually using the stock ecu. The timing is still the same, I'm using an aftermarket FPR, and close down the gap in the plugs.. it's running great 👍 I've done up to 5-7psi boost, but obviously not tuned for more.
This right here is what car meets are supposed to be about. People doing their own custom work with interesting builds! Great video
🤓 TIP:
Always do a nice long "cool down" idle after driving - your turbo will ❤ you.
Getting groceries will never be the same, lol. Nice build.

Man that thing sounds good. Got my son looking at turbos now lol. The paint on the truck still looks so good.
GT, nicely sanitary install! You might consider going 3 inch all the way. Great video!
Pro tip disconnect your injectors not your spark plugs next time, so you don’t flood your engine.
she is sounding nice bro!
I did a procharger on my Camaro. Wish I did a turbo
im going to do this your vids be helping me fr put a copper tube on it
Now awsome bro
Looking to use this turbo on my Skyline, I’m curious about the build quality of it will last or not
I've been running this chinese wutang war whistle on my 3g eclipse and there's nothing better for the money pal

Yes it does! It should sound better after I do an exhaust for it 👌

Where'd you get the Manifold from?
Is it worth to buy stuff from Maxpeeding?
Not for long term use.
😎👍👍

Hey brother is all this done on stock N/A ecu? I have a dohc version 4g15 and wanted to try a similar project

research speeduino
So this was a turbo car before? If not what did you do to manage timing and extra fuel under boost
No, this used to be N/A until I turbocharged it.

What size backend?
Is it very laggy?
Did u run the water lines for the turbo??
@@shuaautomotive yes. There was a line going from the thermostat housing to the throttle body.. so I routed the turbo water line in with that
