Traffic across the south seems to be 10x more than it was 30 yrs ago. I started travelling from Mi to Nc, Va, later Missouri, AR, etc around 2014. It had been since 94 when I last lived down there. I couldnt believe the volume of traffic.

Blackie, You need to take a long vacation, you deserve it Big Time. I've been taking my wife to Nashville, TN. from Paris, TN. twice a week for crancer treatments, labs ,doctors appointments normally a 2 and half hour drive, but the other day it took us 5 hours to get back home .I-40 Interstate is in very bad shape and repairs. So we take Hwy 70 just about all the way in Nashville. Thanks for sharing this information. I Greatly Appreciate All You Do and Your Teaching and Sharing Your Knowledge, Wisdom, Experience, Time. If you get anywhere Chattanooga it's best done in the middle of the night. Just be aware of the fog area.
