Always fun to watch! Gotta get started working our own tractors. W4, W6, WD9, Super MTA, H, MM-R, Fortson F, 10/20 McCormick, and 2 B John Deer tractors. Never be able to keep up lol.
Im like you I take apart old carbs and build a usable one. So far I havent had to buy any floats. A bad float can as a last resort be used by cutting the bottom out and putting cork in it. You have to varnish the cork to keep it from becoming waterlogged with fuel.
put a little oil on the rim of the part, lay it on the gasket material and it will leave the print of the part on the gasket material. Makes outline for a perfect shaped gasket.
I changed the clutch and pressure plate on my Super H through the bottom. It wasnt that bad considering I hate working on my back. Only one you can't do through the bottom is the super m because the pressure plate is too big. Can change the clutch disk though. Get a w4 or w6 and you can change it through the top.
Hello love your Videos Always great time
Making your own gaskets saves money.
Yes sir coming along nicely
I wish I had as much knowledge as you do about tractors . Love your videos .
Nice job Richard, good luck at the Auction 👍

I like Richard's movies too. The background music, bugs and bitds, makes them even better
I hope your WD9 is better than the one I worked on last year.
@@oldfarmjunk101 well, it's inside and not stuck but hasn't run in at least 50 years. I am 49 and never seen in run. I did turn it over last month.
Trying to get caught up on your videos, Richard! Been working LONG days all summer long, and now it is show season as well! The old H looks good!!!!!!

I hadn’t thought of that trick but you sound like me, I only buy new as a last resort.
So far richard looking good

👍 You can also “borrow” your wife’s lipstick to coat the part and leave an imprint on the gasket material.
Richard if that auctioneer told me that i would tell him where he could put his auction.
First! The old H is coming right along.
