Rafcave..I miss Radio Shack.. They had every fuse and every battery ever made
Thx for the video.
Thx for watching.
Curious how many circuits you got running all that gear in the basement and how you decided to split it all up. Not sure if you ever got into that before but make a good video.
Thanks for the video , i have had an AVS2000 for about 8 years and its been a loyal worker the whole time. Glad to know how easy it is to access the fuses. Under What conditions do the other two internal fuses blow?
Not sure, but I'm lucky to be able to fix it so easily. 🤞🏽
@@TheRafcave Mine turns on. But when I plug things into it there's no power???
Wow three fuses! That things protected to protect your electrics lol! Great repair tip though.
😁👍🏽
I just purchased one of these any chance you could tell me what style plug I need for the remote On/Off on the back ?
Mono 3.5mm
I have a Monster power strip and every time I plugged my pc into it, it makes that same loud buzz. It did it again today.
Raf question what's the diff between stabilizer and lets say Furman surge protector?
The stabilizer adds or reduces the main voltage by keeping It at 120volts.
Nice Raf, I got 2 of those beasts myself. Be careful inside them as the caps even when unplugged hold a dangerous charge unless you discharge them! I thought about making a plexiglass cover for these as they look so cool to me inside. Especially when the transformer taps switch. I recently had them removed for now as both mine after not using them for several months while in hospital started making a very loud screeching sound which I believe is the transformer switching taps 2 correct and stabilize the voltage and its sticking. Ever have that issue? I know Monster doesnt service them anymore and when they did it was a flat rate fee of 400 or 500 bucks each! Being disabled now poses a challenge to fix these beasts myself but Monsters not the company they once were after all there set backs.
Well It's all connected and working. Hope It's all good. They are pretty Impressive huh. 😎👍🏽
@@TheRafcave that's good glad it's working again for ya. Ever have my prob with the loud noises from the transformer switching and sticking? It's a very loud screeching sound like a dj does with a record moving it back n forth but way louder an annoying over the system volume even. Pretty sure a little wd will do but I'll need my bro to help me due to my health probs n being disabled now.
@@battousai412 Ohh I've had that Issue. You have to buy some electrical dark greese and use a rubber gloves then smear that stuff over the power veric and It will be quiet when It moves.
@@TheRafcave ya that's what I meant. Great minds think alike😎👍 love the signature with the blue LEDs, I got 2 of the older ones with the red LEDs. By far Monsters best product. Glad yours just blew that fuse and all your gear is okay bud. Hope you rerouted that chair power cable and or such so that dont happen again. Thx for your help. Who you pick for the superbowl?
@@battousai412 Ohh man this game looks amazing In 4k HDR! What a treat! Yep so far so good. I've bucked down the cable for sure. Go Chiefs! 😁
beats hsving to take it in I need to get me one of these for my sounds ystem
Monster no longer makes these. They make much smaller types of conditioners and protectors. You need to change conditioners every few years because even if they don't get a big hit they constantly over a period of years absorb spikes in the electrical line. Which where is down their effectiveness over a period of a few years.
do you own any of their power amps ??
I used too. Had the 2 channel, 3 channel, and 5 channel. 😥
I use the hts3600 in both my setups you cannot go wrong with them
Monster Power! 💯😊👍🏽
@@TheRafcave just bought a avs 2000 haha 😂
