Yep. Seeing them live is like a constant barrage of amazing hit-songs, one after another. Incredible. In particular the Steel Wheels tour: I wasn’t yet a huge fan at that time-just a casual one, and EVERY single song they played was a very recognizable hit. It really drove home to me the breadth of their back-catalogue…and got me even further into the band.

I think Keith Richards is very underrated, because Jagger is the frontman. Considering both of them, I think Keith is the musical genius of the 2, and Mic, a great entertaining frontman, and they compliment each other well.The combination of them both, makes the Stones. Just like Lennon and Mcartney. With Jagger, you put a couple coins in him, press the on button, and he's good to go for at least 3-4 hours.
Keith comes up with riffs, Jagger comes up with the melodies, lyrics, song structure, probably man of the chord changes. I'd crown Jagger the primary writer of the duo.
I don't think Keith as underrated at all. I think most rock fans know that in that run between 63-72, he was largely responsible for some of the greatest rock songs ever. Even Mick would admit that but Mick tends to undersell his own musical contributions. They needed each other.
