The idea that SAF only had an Adaptability score of 12 is sheer madness. I think that's probably one of the things that will have hindered him in game as the Sim Alex prob didn't change it up much when he was losing, leading to his sackings. IRL SAF always rose to new challenges to return to the top spot. FM did him a little dirty there.
Perhaps it's more to reflect he only managed a few clubs in England and Scotland (and I guess partly because ordinarily he's not a manager in the game, so his attributes aren't looked at, I assume they're just carried over from the last time he was a manager in the game) but I agree, a bit low!
@@ImtheHitcher SAF dominated in his home country, winning multiple league and domestic trophies plus European trophies, then moved to another country and dominated that even more, winning even more league & domestic trophies, plus Europe. So 12 is still way low given the evidence.
Had some issues rendering this video in 4K so unfortunately it's 1080p max today, sorry to those of you who normally watch in 4K, hope you still enjoyed the video! Who should we replay next?
He was so lucky which people seem to forget… after spending loads of money he was about to get sacked in 1990, only then to fortunately win the fa cup that year. Then came the class of 92 which once again saved his job
New subscriber here. I've been binging Football Manager videos a lot lately and I love your content. .....Subbed for the content. Stayed for the Count Dankula "foreshadowing" clip.
If you are continuing these videos I'd love to see Sir Bobby Robson beginning with Fulham again and see where he goes from there and see if he can do one better than real life and win a prem title or win a world cup
@@TomFM I think the only problem would be choosing where he starts will it be fulham where he was sacked very quickly or Ipswich where he was given a fair shot to start his career properly
I would love an experiment where you build a league pyramid combining Scotland, Ireland, N. Ireland, and Wales. Then give them a tv deal worth 2b for a 20 team top flight and see if it can rival the Prem
i think it might have been better if his reputation was reduced from the 4.5 stars he started with? that way he would have had to spend more time in scotland and work his way up like he did irl! i love these types of video though :D
Anyone else spot Southampton going from UECL->UEL->UCL->UCL in consecutive seasons without finishing high enough in the league meaning they one the UECL the UEL and the UCL in back to back to back seasons 🤯 just thought it was mental for a team to do that let alone Southampton
You can't forget that in his prime SAF had the best generation of youngsters in Man UTD which stay loyal to the club and he worked there for 27 years. IMO you should start his career in Man UTD and then check the results. Arsene Wenger must be next one
Bring back Bobby Robson, maybe one video as a player, and then one as a Manager. Could be amazing, i would definetly watch them both, giant legend in the football industry
i would love to see a video where you put a hole first division of a european nation in the non league of england and than sim like 50-100 years (if you do this idea pls do romania i would love to see how they would be doing)
Arsène Wenger. Should have won more silverware with Arsenal but wouldn't adapt his ways. Bobby Robson. Brian Clough. Martin O'Neil & Harry Redknapp are just a few who come to mind for me
it's funny how totenham wins only in virtual simulations 😃😃 also imagine west ham winning the conference league irl while been relegated... could happen
I see a trend in your videos. A lot of times tottenham pops up as a place where the top talent goes. Even in my save game, city sort of died off, but spurs are signing players like gavi, pedri, that young rennes midfielder ducre?

Adaptability only relates to the ability of an individual to adapt to moving abroad in FM, so it's fair

@@dmore He managed his whole life in the United Kingdom, where people speak English. 12 is more than generous
@@ImtheHitcher they don’t speak English in Scotland
Got to see one with Neil Warnock, starting in non league could be very interesting
He's a legend, it's got to be done!
@@TomFM he should start at scarborough

BRIAN CLOUGH
PLS
Brian Clough next!
You reds!! ❤🤍🌳
🔴⚪🌳🏹
He’s dead
😂
@@rjbstfc and?
YOU REDS!
I like those simulations do Jose moirinho next
Sir Alex at Bournemouth would of been a madness!
great idea, would love to see likes of brian clough , bob paisley, shankly, beckenbauer and so on
I wonder if there are database for 1980s football or older, so we can play becks as a player
@@Mister-Mayor there’s one that starts in 1990 but I don’t know if there are any earlier ones
So the next step is obviously Wenger right? The rivalry between the two was legendary.
please do arsene wenger next!
Shankly, Paisley, Jock Stein and Clough would all be brilliant ones to do
He was so lucky which people seem to forget… after spending loads of money he was about to get sacked in 1990, only then to fortunately win the fa cup that year.
Then came the class of 92 which once again saved his job
Please Jupp Heynckes next!
Sir Alex was not the tactician, that was his right hand man job, sir Alex was the guy that made decisions.

I LITERALLY just watched a Count dankula mad lads before watching this, and was so jarred when he appeared 😂 good stuff mate, thanks!
Has to be Bobby Robson! What a legend!
0:41 yep definitely looks 31 😂

Could u replay more players? Like Miroslav Klose for example?
A completely new definition to "Lads, it's Tottenham "
I was going to suggest Warnock, but see that was already done. Ian Holloway or Harry Redknapp would be an interesting one though.
Anyone else spot Southampton going from UECL->UEL->UCL->UCL in consecutive seasons without finishing high enough in the league meaning they one the UECL the UEL and the UCL in back to back to back seasons 🤯 just thought it was mental for a team to do that let alone Southampton
Would be nice to see Sam Allardyce.
"Sir" Bob Paisley, not enough respect on this man's name, 3 European Cups on his tenure is just phenomenal, more the Fergie got.
Forget winning UEL with a Championship team. SAF is so good he won the league with Spurs. Fraudiola could never.
"Wins the odd league cup" - Litterally won it 3 years on the bounce
You should have started him at East Stirling
You can't forget that in his prime SAF had the best generation of youngsters in Man UTD which stay loyal to the club and he worked there for 27 years. IMO you should start his career in Man UTD and then check the results. Arsene Wenger must be next one
Idea: simulate the last World Cup, only each country is represented by their best local team.
Bill Shankley would be a fantastic one, but I have no idea if it can be done
5:13 that’s sounded like “aren’t” 😂
best football manager RUclipsr hands down
Bring back Bobby Robson, maybe one video as a player, and then one as a Manager. Could be amazing, i would definetly watch them both, giant legend in the football industry
Did not expect to see Count Dankula!
Ottmar Hitzfeld next please :D
Think you shouldve given him at least 15 for tactical knowledge but a great concept none the less
I just let the game assign him his attributes, but perhaps I'll edit them a bit in future!
Neil Warnock and I’ll never stop commenting for the GOAT.
Brian Clough, Bob Paisley, Bill Shankly
Great video ! Would love to see you recreating Louis van Gaal, he is the best coach ever for us .
Should make one with Zlatan. See how he would do in management. Start in hammarby if, zlatan is currently partner of hammarby.
Bruce Arena or Brian Smetzer. Be interesting how they would do in Europe as really good managers for really good MLS clubs.
I popped for the unexpected Count Dankula.
KEANO! There's only one KEANO! next manager Roy Keane, personally I think he deserved more chances.
i would love to see a video where you put a hole first division of a european nation in the non league of england and than sim like 50-100 years (if you do this idea pls do romania i would love to see how they would be doing)

In one of my seasons, I had West Ham get relegated but they won the Europa League. So they were a Championship team in the Champions league😂
Do it with Kevin De Bruyne and start him from his first club Gent
anybody notice southampton qualified for UCL? 🤯 8:23
Is it possible to do this for retired players?
Be interesting to see how Maradona, or Cruyff or Baggio would fare.
They are dead btw
Sir Bobby could be a fun one
Just an observation Tom. Sir Alex didn't play the 4231. It was more a 4411 or a 442. Great video though. Do Johann Cruyff next. Cheers
what you should do is to put him on the respective roles that he had as he was in real life
Ancelotti should be the next one!
I see TomFM content. I upvote
The voicecrack at 1:23
Video idea! Putting the top Portuguese clubs into La Liga.
If you've done Sir Alex, its only right to do the real best manager OAT, Bill Shankly
Well I wish Bayern had Ferguson, maybe that way we could avoid the disaster we had with Tuchel against City.
it's funny how totenham wins only in virtual simulations 😃😃 also imagine west ham winning the conference league irl while been relegated... could happen
Tomfm. I would like to see you do a Jack Charlton. LEGEND
Gottta do Wenger at some point too
Another manager to do is Guus hiddink, see if he ends up at obscure jobs like he has done irl
Sven Göran Eriksson. Can he have a FM-type career in FM just like he did in real life?
Do Jose Murinho next
Do Felipão next, the guy Who wom a WC and lost 7-1 tô Germany
The Count Dankula clip definitely threw me off
Hey just wondering how do FM creators on here create the video thumbnails?
Brighton 16th place And next season playing uecl.
Absolutely love this one 😂 put Neil warnock at Real Madrid
sad he left saint mirren at least we were in a video for a minute
Do more of these they are so good please
Do Jose at Barca as he was gonna be there if cryuff didn't said no
how did you manage to bring him out of retirement? I have the in game editor and want to try something similar but wont let me edit it
Can someone tell me where to view a clubs most started 11 for a current season? I can't find it anywhere but always see it in people's videos
Should have just put him at Man Utd and trapped him there to see if he done just as good or better
Do Jogi Löw next!!
How about the World Cup with only uncapped players? Just a thought.
Tom, how to get the menus of FM23 like your's?
1 PL with Spurs > 13 PL with Man United
How about a Pep and Mourinho Career-Resim?
Ancelotti is a must
Nice dankula clip
Arsene Wenger should be one of the upcoming videos
Now you have to do wenger
How embarrassing for the Socceroos to only draw with Scotland
Wow someone leaving Watford after 6 months but not because they've been sacked! Probably knew his job was always at risk at Watford
The greatest of all time Shankley and Paisley!!
I see a trend in your videos. A lot of times tottenham pops up as a place where the top talent goes. Even in my save game, city sort of died off, but spurs are signing players like gavi, pedri, that young rennes midfielder ducre?
Terry Venables?
Or
Harry Redknapp?
Jock Stein!!!
Count dankular confused me 😅 as I watch both your channels I was like wtf 😅
Gotta do Arsene Wenger next
Has to be Mourinho next
Wenger next for sure
Do kloppy’scarrer next
I'll say again Don Revie. Bring back brutality. Or Brian Clough. Guus Hiddink would be great. Or something completely different Myung Rye-hyun.
1:32 sir alex ruined sheffield uniteds premier league safety
How long does it usually take to simulate these?
