My man this is the greatest comment in the history of the channel. Iv been on a Pixel 7 for about half a year before going back to iPhone and could not figure what the hell was going on. Next week of videos are already recorded but after that i hope it improves.
@@AudioLevels Not a problem man. Apple has this weird proprietary video encoding bullshit and most people don't know about it. Their HDR isn't normal android hdr encoding. If you watch your video on iphone it'll be normal but on Android it'll be washed out
@@migracing8232 I did something similar on android. Filmed a full moto vlog and couldn't work out why it was so bad haha.... Im used to the Panasonic s5 for other stuff but find the phones do a decent job for this stuff and i don't need a rig over the top.
I am sold on this because of this video, but I could never afford these. Can always dream. They look braw. Electrostatic drives in IEM’s are the best possible scenario for an impressive sound.
The 2 links you posted for the AZLA eartips say the same thing: "currently unavailable". Divinus Velvet and Final Audio eartips are better for these IEM, IMHO. Thank you, great video.
This could be the best and maybe that is what i want from a IEM. What equivalent of headphones would this compared to? STAX endgame? Or a Planer Endgame?
Was considering between this and the Monarch MK3. In the end gotten the Monarch recently as it is cheaper and prefer Monarch's stock faceplate. Seems like both iems have the same stock cable. MK3's sound is superb. Have not tried the Prestige ltd yet.
This will be super interesting, im not sure there is much of a need to redoo the Monarch Mkii but it definitely seems to keep sales churning for these types of companies.
Another excellent review! But...sadly I will not be purchasing these iems. My current favourite is the Kiwi Ears Orchestra OG. How does the tuning of the Prestige Ltd compare to the Orchestra? Thanks
Has anything come along in the last year better than these in this price range? Just listened to Black Shoes by Felix Leband, interesting track, great test track. I'm wondering how mid-tempo stuff sounds, like Rezz - ID6 off her 'Nightmare on Rezz Street 2 Mix" sounds, particularly in the bass? If you get a chance would love to hear your take. I'm trying to decide between the Monarch's and the Prestige Ltd's and after your review and 'In Ear Fetish'' review, it's pretty hard not to lean towards these.
Versus Monarch 2/3, which has the best textured bass of the three? Which one is best for busy progressive metal tracks (Dream Theater) which is able to keep up with the pace and keep instrument layers as clean as possible?? Gr8 review...
12:14 sheezzz nice song, so all around you with the instruments they used. what mic are you using suddenly it seems you are talking on the back of my head and then on the front and the middle, shezz, nice mic also. had you ever tested the LZ hi-fi Audio LZ AX, you'll love them so much, I strongly believe much more than these.
Absolutely agree when you say these are endgame. Is there iems that cost more and do things better? Yes! You can get an iem that cost $3k and have better detail. Or maybe more bass slam. Or more soundstage. But to be $3k and be a better all rounder? By that, be a direct upgrade of the Prestige LTD. I haven't found one. There is the Letshuoer Cadenza 12 which for me. It is damn impressive. It's maybe 5% better with detail but it's not as lush and smooth sounding compared to the Prestige LTD and lacks that oomph in the low end. Overall, Prestige LTD. Freaking amazing endgame iem 😁👍
@@AudioLevels The Cadenza 12 is a extremely nice listen. The bass is a little more neutral but you gain in overall technicallity. But the question is. Is it worth spending more for a slight improvement and maybe a tuning that won't suit your hearing? I like the Cadenza 12. It's technically a better iem. More detail, larger stage etc etc. But I prefer the tuning much more on the Prestige LTD. And again, it's a not a huge difference technically. Worth $1k or more? Hell nah.
@@S.G54321 For a long time the Skuld were my favourite IEM, around 500 despite owning many more expensive including the IER-1r. Thats really the thing people are being lead down a rabbit whole by a lot of companies but its not really them that puts the hype on them, usually the community talk like we arent hearing the most finest of refinements and subtle nuances. I agree very little is gained in real world terms. IEMs have gotten so good.
@@S.G54321 Thanks for the comparison. My reference (unfortunately) its a Fiio FD7, i can't test more ''expensive sets'' cuz if i wanted to do it i'll be broke in a split of a sec, so i'm wondering if the 1000+ gap it's really worth it... Good to see impressions of the more expensive sets
Worth it in my eyes if your looking for real top end stuff.... like extreme minimal compromise. In terms of how much better its all diminishing gains at that point. ie you have to spend that much more for smaller refinments.
Yes! Some penon\isn reviews would've greatly appreciated. The is only 1 person who reviews the brand and is always very complementary. As you are one of the best and honest reviewers, it would be great to hear your opinion on the 10th Ann and the Isn neo5.
Havent heard either yet but hopefully the Elysian soon but I dont expect either to be significantly better (if at all than stuff in the $1000-$2000 range). These are great and been listening to them a lot since the review finished. Something about the BA's i love in combo with that impact 2
If its that good I hope it isnt a short limited run, by the time I and many others could save for them, they may be gone forever lol should replace and become the standard prestige
So great to hear the enthusiasm in your voice! Have you ever tried the Moondrop S8? If yes, how does that compare to this? PS: Nice to see a controlled, orderly handwriting :)
I second this opinion^ the S8 is so damn good for jazz, modern pop, and music involving growling guitars (including JRPG soundtracks). Would love to hear how the thieaudion stuff sounds in comparison
The s8 is good but .. not it doesn’t have the breathtaking space of the Sony z1r or the unique melody mest mkII I’m lucky enough to own all three .. and I favor the mest mkII for comfort .. the Sony is incredible but heavy ..
Tested them in Singapore ridiculously good… but the unique melody mest mk II .. are still the best and it’s discounted to 1499.00 and sometimes for 1399. US dollars…

How are the vocals? Are they forward? I know thie is known for relaxed, even recessed vocals and that’s my issue with the oracles
