New York City Lenox Hill Hospital will always hold a special place in my heart for a ton of different reasons (that I list in the video!). The new NYC Lenox Hill show on #Netflix is absolutely fantastic so I decided to react to it and give in depth information on certain topics discussed in the show. I talk a lot about neurology and neurosurgery as well as neurointerventional and neuro endovascular procedures since they are very similar to interventional radiology procedures that I do. I talk about patients after anesthesia, patient recovery, and also what to expect post-operatively in these patients. Oh, and I also talk about the procedures in-depth with the anatomy as well! Hope you all enjoy and let me know if you want me to do more!

I love this show. Some of those episodes made me cry. Yes please keep reacting to Lenox Hill. I learned a lot from your explanations
Love it too!
Almost every episode was making me choke up haha. But it was so amazing
Yes, more episodes please
Yes, agree with you 100%.
I saw this and I was like 'Finally, a medical show I like.'
As an experienced nurse who is usually very critical and unhappy with medical shows. This documentary (already a big plus) gave the physicians humility and humanness rarely seen, even by coworkers. Neurosurgeons, in particular, can be difficult and unfriendly. These guys seemed to respect nurses and were always very professional.
Dr. Boockvar recently performed a craniotomy on my husband. We could not be more impressed with his level of expertise or his commitment to my husband's care. Lenox Hill Hospital has saved my life (I had a sub-massive PE) and my husband's. It's a very special place filled with very special people. Special shout out to the ICU teams.
That's what put them where they are
The look of concentration on Dr. Cellini's face while the doctors diagnose their patients, you can see his training come through imagine the scenarios racing through his mind.
And his articulation is so freakin good! He doesn’t sound like a dr. just to sound like a dr. but you can feel his passion for his field.
Hey Dr Cellini, my mother had surgery done by Dr Langer. He is a very well trained doctor whom cared deeply for his patients. Very nice doctor and everyone at Lenox.
Happy to hear your Mom is doing well!
Man I couldn’t make this video.. that whole show had me painfully trying to be tough fighting back tears! 😭
Same!
That was excellent Michael. Please do more of these as they are so educational to all. Many thanks, Deleen Alley, Birmingham, Al.
Deleen Alley agreed!

Lenox Hill is such a great show I’ve watched the entire season in less than a day
As a “professional patient” aka someone with multiple chronic illnesses that land me in the hospital constantly, this show and these doctors put my faith back in medicine. Being sick my whole life I’ve had my fair share of egotistical drs, drs that don’t believe me, etc but there doctors have so much love and care for their patients you can feel it through the screen!!!!!
Yes I have sickle cell and some doctors though I was a drug addict or lying about having a sickle cell crisis sometimes and I would feel so helpless and sad .
I am a medical social worker in boston. This show made me cry, laugh and brought some validation of some of the clinical aspects of my own work in the hospital. Thanks for reviewing!!
Also @DrCellini you should review the COVID episode!! Makes you think about what has changed since the beginning !!!
I think I’m going to!!
Man, the show kinda made me remember why I went into medicine.
It’s one of the most amazing things, to see that connection with a patient. The level of trust, compassion, guardianship and training that goes into the relationship between healthcare providers and those they fight for.
Yeah, love reminders of why this is a calling.
Dr. Cellini.. already binge watched this series. All the doctors at Lenox seem to be very compassionate and love what they do. Please keep making these videos!! I love to hear the perspective of other professionals 😊
I've never heard of this show, sounds like i have something new to binge on
Hahaha same I just realized this
Lexnox Hill Neurosurgery had a great webinar and program called Brainterns that I was able to be apart of. Great group of people and netflix show really showed that.
I miss my brainnterns morning videos
Same, I’ve heard that it might return in spring and for sure in the summer
Hi. Will you please do one on episode 5. Tim’s awake surgery?! I am his wife. He is doing great but I would be very interested in your opinion. Thx!
Love hearing your thoughts on a great show especially with your ties to Lenox. This was the last show I binged before starting med school a few weeks ago. As always, keep up the great work!
I♥that neurosurgeon his voice reminds me of Ray Romano, he is so driven and compassionate😊. I love the show.
I loved this show. Such admiration for you and your fellow doctors. The combination of top rate skills and empathy of the featured neurosurgeons was incredible. Thank you for acknowledging this excellent show.
It was really a special show! I loved it, every episode. It was a great show for a time when the medical field hasn’t really had the appreciation deserved. It shows what goes into the care we give. They’re all excellent physicians and human beings! Thank you for your support and appreciation, really!
I am not in the medical field but I'm grateful and Thank God for each of you✨
Thank you!
Ooh yes, I had a feeling this video would eventually come😁. Lenox Hill is definitely binge worthy #thanksquarantine
I really enjoy your thorough and informative videos, Dr. Cellini. New York is blessed to have ya!
Thank you for being so informative and breaking everything down! I hope to see more!
My son in law is an engineer and speaks with Dr. Langer a few times a week. He has hung out at his beach and says he is a wonderful man.
Thank you for talking about this tv show, I didn’t even known that existed. I’m an X-ray tech and my husband is a IR tech, we both work in a level 2 trauma hospital and level 1 stroke hospital. We both love your videos!!!
Love this show and I watch your videos religiously, perfect combo! Thank you!
Very interesting. Really enjoyed the explanation so please more content like this. On a side note, I could never do what you guys do but I am glad that professionals like yourself and your spouse have the passion and dedication for medicine to keep the rest of us heathy and alive when the chips are down. =)
Great video, Dr. Cellini! Love the anatomy break down and all of your commentary! Would love more videos like this!
I love watching your videos. I watched the entire season of Lenox Hill and really loved it. Btw, I delivered both of my babies really fast, just had to wait through two contractions for both! I did deliver without an epidural though, which helped me feel alllll the things. 😳🤗
Haha you are lucky!
I’ve been waiting for someone to react to this show!
I love this show!! It must be cool to see a hospital and doctors that you learned from on Netflix! I’d love to see more of this! To have your perspective is awesome!! Thanks! Kristin from Oklahoma 💙💙💙
I loved the docu-series. After bingeing the first 9 seasons of grey’s I kinda ruined medical shows for myself I just got burnt out from it but thought that since this was a documentary it would be more interesting and I was right. I loved all the doctors they followed; the care and patience they had was super nice to see. I also loved how they didn’t over dramatize or underplay anything. And the deaths were handled nicely too. Just an overall great and educational look at the medical field.
Loved this show. Keep doing these or reactions from other medical shows
Deal!
I watched it in one day! ❤️ Great respect for all health care workers!!!!
Definitely could have done the same! So good
Great video! Was able to follow some of what you said! Loved being able to relate the information to real life from what I’ve learned in undergrad so far! I first learned about strokes in my physiological psychology class. Learning all about embolisms and thrombus.
Wow! I didnt know about this show. Geuss I need Netflix. This was a awesome video. I liked how u explained it all. So cool to learn. Hope u do more of it. Congrats 👏 on your last yr!

Judy Bradley agreed! Thank you! The whole medical team though, down to the janitors and security guards, everyone is a team and all important. Thank you so much for your support!

I loved this show!! I hope they make more episodes :)
Great react show, helped me learned a lot.!
This was fascinating! You could have gone on for an hour. Please do more! For future reference for us detail minded nerds you might show some of the procedures you do and explain them and/or other areas of medicine and explain why a doctor made a certain diagnosis and/or did a certain procedure.
Haha I think I did go on for like 30min but had to edit it down! And yeah I want to...still trying to figure out how to do that and maintain pt privacy
Hey doctor cellini I love your videos I watch them every time u post ❣️
I am obsessed with this show 💗💗💗💗💗💗
The doctors behave so nicely with the patients. Rare in India.
I love this channel and it worth more than being recommended for only medical doctors and students. Learning from you have motivated me to start my personal channel chief, more power to you Sir.
Well said guy.

Loved the Lennox Hill series, keep it going =)
Tim Book really hope we get more seasons of this!
Yes more Lenox hill!
“Don’t touch anything blue”
I remember hearing that when I shadowed general surgery but I was already kinda scared to the point where that wasn’t a problem. The surgeon and nurses let me in the OR but I literally stood in my corner 😂😂
I freaking Lenox hill and your your tube channel! I was hoping you’d weigh in on this!
I've seen the whole series & I loved it.
I still have a few more episodes to watch, but love it
@@DrCellini maybe do another reaction video for the last ep? It was filmed during the covid19 pandemic, I think it might be interesting to know your thoughts on it.
I did my surgical internship at Lenox Hill too! Eating day old croissants 4AM in the bagel shop across the street! OMG good ol' days! Cheers!
Pick a bagel. They're okay
When will LENOX HILL have season 2? I love this documentary and I watch it over and over!!!!!!
Please continue i think you are gonna like it
I have watched the whole season but I love when you explain things.
Please do more episodes :). Ps I’m not sure if you can with HEPPA (hope I got that right I am in Australia) say if you have seen similar cases in your training.
Hey! Yeah I see similar cases to these, but I dont actually do neuro procedures though
Dr. Cellini true and this show tends to base around Neuro . I find all true life medical shows so interesting. I guess because I have a lot of rare conditions myself and in my 39 years on this earth I have had way over 70 operations/procedures. I get scans on my liver a lot (HIdA scans for a spincter of odi dysfunction as I make sludge and stones with no GB). I also have gastroparesis following fundopliction surgery 16 years ago I also have a gastric pacemaker.I also have idiopathic pancreatitis and jaundice x 5 times each and I have an umbrella diagnosis of hypermobility EDS which everything gets blamed on.
Anyway thank you and your gorgeous wife for showing the rest of the world not only the medical side of the USA but also the human side as well. In my state of Australia we have not had community spread for over 150 days and every single thing is back running like normal other than flights in and out of our state.
Anyway thanks so much for replying and also for the videos :).
@@tristabella2297 omg thats a lot to have and go through. 🙏for you.
Tristelle Thompson wow! You’ve been through a ton, but sounds like you’re still going strong. Really amazing. Wishing you all the best
Awesome thanks for informing us?
I enjoyed Lenox Hill and told many to watch it. Its nice to get a Professional's opinion that agrees with my own...
Can you make a video explaining how to increase your chances of matching into an interventional radiology fellowship from diagnostic radiology residency. How to be competitive during your training.
