If you have performance headroom, DLAA is a nobrainer. Better than native by far. Sharper. Crisper. No jaggies. Better than any other 3rd party AA solution for sure.
DLSSTweaks has some other useful features you didn't cover. You can force different render presets. With DLSS 3.7+ preset E works really well for most games I have tested. For games like GTA V that will overwrite the dlss dll file if you replaced it, you can use DLSSTweaks to force load a dlss dll file from outside of the games install location. For people still on 20 or 30 series RTX cards, you can use DLSSTweaks with DLSSG to FSR3 to use DLSS/DLAA for upscaling and use FSR 3.1 for frame gen provided the game already supports DLSS frame gen. I'm still on a 8700k and a 2080 ti. Using DLSS Swapper, DLSSTweaks, and DLSSG to FSR3 I ran Black Myth Wukong with the newest DLLS version and forced the new E render preset with DLAA. At 1440p I was getting 80 - 100 fps. If I switch to DLSS quality my fps jumped to 130 - 140
Hey do you know if DLSStweks can help remove ghosting effects? Maybe DLAA will help fix this? I'm about to go through the motions of installing and messing with this but knowing before i do would sure be appreciated
This happens with RDR2, I have to use a tool called DLSS-Replacer that swaps the DLSS to 3.7 when it detects the RDR2 exe. Will I still be able to use preset E this way?
Thank you for the walk-through! I just used this guide to enable the new model e preset on dlss with Darktide. While at it I updated dlss to the newest version. Looks great so far!
Your audio is WAY out of sync with the footage of you talking. I thought there was something wrong with my headphones but then I checked some other videos.
I'm doing everything like in the video. But any changes with the tool do nothing. I remember this tool worked properly for RDR2 with me when I used it in 2023. But now it doesn't do anything in any game. *Got it working. I installed all the files just like before. Turns out I actually did do something different than in the video, I changed the values of the config file first, before moving everything to the game directory. I assume this causes the values to not work at all. I could still be wrong. But for some reason it didn't work the first time.
Hello, 1st of all thank you for making the guide and helping out :D I have a question about DLSS in Throne and Liberty and I had similar issue in other game in the past, basically when I turn off DLSS completely the game become so blurry with squares all over the screen and I can't see anything, and when I enable DLSS the game becomes playable but whenever I move my character or something start moving around me it becomes blurry and the blur only stops when I stop or that thing stop moving, tried many things and I couldn't remove the blur even this guide. Do you have an idea what is causing this ? Thanks in advance
@@wawrzach84 emoose has a mod called "NvTrueHDR - RTX HDR for games" on Nexus, the optional file "NVIDIA Profile Inspector XML", when dropped where the profile inspector exe is located, adds options for dlss in inspector. As long as you updated DLSS in game to 3.6+, you can force DLAA and a preset as well as a custom scale factor on a per game basis (or globally). Should work in multiplayer since you don't inject anything into the game anymore apart from updating the DLSS file.

DLDSR + DLSS is even better or DLDSR + DLAA

What does Auto Exposure Do? Should I turn it on or not?
Does it interfere with anti-cheat used by games like Wuthering Waves or alike?
was hoping you had a better method of install, im trying to run on red dead 2 but when i select copy to game folder it only shows sub directory
Another way is to set the the lowest dlss option ratio to 1 this way you have dlaa and dlss at once
hi
can you tell me if its possible to do it in ff15?
I wish but it wont work cause it only supports dlss 1 I swapped it with latest turns into a black screen

Is there anything that people can do if they're still stuck on 10xx and 16xx series cards? Besides buying a new card, of course...
there is fsr if you're willing to try
FSR if its an option, or some games have NIS or other resolution scaling methods.
alternatively just run the game at a lower resolution...
in regards to dlss, no. just hope the game has XeSS, so you're not stuck with shitty fsr.
Yesterday I watch DLSS Swapper and nope didn't touch anything since the game I want to change was not on the list so yea. Try to see if this works.
Great video, do you think you can get banned if you use this in games online games like wuthering waves
I wouldn't risk using tools that make changes to game files that are multiplayer / online, including wuthering waves.
If the game has anti-cheat this very likely can result in a ban.
there's a way to do it in the nvidia driver with nvidia profile inspector and a setting file for it, but my comment got deleted.
Could you share your wisdom ? I also know very good option in profile inspector how to lower input lag and make better responsiveness.
