I LOVE THIS VIDEO. Iconic, fierce, vulnerable- the fluid camera work that follows her amazing choreography... I'm swept away... Natasha looks gorgeous. The backdrop is stunning and it perfectly mirrors the lyrics of the song: the turmoil of the sea and past hurt against the steadiness of the cliff sides and the "good man" now... I love it all. One of my favorite videos of hers to date!
There is something so simple and beautiful about this video. Maybe it;s her makeup, or the way that her movements are obviously improvised. I', not sure, but I can say that Natasha is simply and naturally a gorgeous woman who gives her entire heart to her craft.

I love how haunting and atmospheric Natasha Khan's music is. It's so hard to put into words just how her music affects me, it really grabs a hold and I feel almost hypnotised and entranced by it's otherworldlyness.
This is everything, her moves, the music, lyrics, my god, I am still at the first verse, first verse!!!! And I keep starting the song, over and over, can't get enough, it is soooo sososososo good!!!!

I used to do some internet shifts for my college radio station and this song was on the rotation. I was immediately caught off guard at how incredible this song was. I love it so much so many years later. It is a wonderful piece of art.

SHE IS SO RAW. This is clearly not choreographed or rehearsed. Some will love it, others will come to appreciate it in time after they become tired of staged emotions.

Johnny Football Two reasons I don't think it's staged: 1) it would look better 2) there would have been less editing.
Some forethought was put into it, but it looks as though they just put the camera on and said "go for it" and "ooh, there's a nice rock, go do that thing you do over by that rock."

I love the way Natasha dances - it's so raw and instinctual - like she's singing with her body. Also the haircut suits her perfectly. She's such a beautiful woman. As for the song, it's amazing as usual, Natasha can go no wrong musically. I love her :)
I put this in a category with Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know". Not a pigeon-holed category but the similarities that the production is engaging and intoxicating, and the content is sincere, painfully relatable, and distantly hopeful.

@@JoeWild1984 the song I mentioned plus "Hearts A Mess" are powerfully built songs. His last album is very creative. Where Natasha is a strong singer, her production isn't like Gotye's. Gotye is not a strong singer like Natasha. They should become a duo to gather their differing strengths.

I completely agree. I am a dancer too and I can tell she hasn't improvised! She is a good dancer and I love it (just like Kate Bush used to do in her videos, very contemporary kind of dance). She is a star. More than a superstar. Like the way she is wearing a black and white outfit to signify that she is possibly in two minds, though not totally black and white to represent more contrasting possibilities in these different minds.
