Deep, deep ocean right off Sandals, shark habitat of course, tourist needed better restriction closer to shore, was 3/4 mile off beach when attacked, a Life Guard monitoring issue, not a shark issue.

On thst board so sorry this happened I giess we just take our chances when we enter the ocean I personally love snorkeling in carribean or clear water and Florida we just all need to be aware so sad
I have an inflatable paddle board and one time I took it out far into the ocean at panama city beach. I got my period out there on the water and i started shaking so bad I couldn't even stand up on the board. I had to sit down and paddle my way back in total fear, leaving a red trail in the water behind me 😵💫
Why would you go nearly a mile from shore? That’s asking for trouble

This is the same exact report already posted by every other news network. We have learned not to expect much from a network owned by disney.
When you enter the domain of a potential predator superior to yourself you must accept the risk… it’s naïve for humans to wonder the ocean, woods, jungle, etc. then act surprised when someone dies…just look at how most humans treat bugs, mice, etc. that we don’t want in our domains…( reality is that the world is a savage place!)
This is sad but please remember how rare this is. Think about the hundreds of thousands if not millions that swim off these shores each year and to have 3-5 deaths per year is considered a very small number. Don’t let this stop u from enjoying all these waters have to offer safely.

@@samchezthomasino2331 yeah dude I was fishing with a mackerel two years ago in Capitola near Santa Cruz and hooked into it before it rammed my right scupper hole and sent me flying into the water. Wish I got GoPro footage of it haha my friend got a sick encounter that got 50M views on TikTok

Americans need to open up their minds and pick better places to travel. Literally everyone I know from the states travels to the Bahamas, Puerto Rico or Las Vegas. It's annoying. Personally I have never gone to any of those places and never had any desire to do so when I was given the chance to go for free with my job. I turned it down. Guys out there touring the fake Eiffel tower in Vegas. Taking pictures with it. I was at the top of the real one in Paris making magical moments. Drinking champagne and there weren't any sharks there or any high levels gun violence throughout the city.
Well, not everyone is a fan of dirty Paris. Some of us like to visit the top beaches in the world. 🤷
@@damiktamai7007 We all know you can't afford to go to the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa. And not all people are fans of going to dirty beaches to be eaten by sharks. Make better life decisions. But you can't swim anyway so you don't have to worry about sharks 🦈
