can the new windows 365 link mini PC play windows video games yes or no? I need to know because if it can I'm in the market for one thank you @@AndyMaloneMVP
Did you not see The deal where you can have a shared environment? For example you only need to purchase 100 licenses and 300 desktops will be available. Microsoft has some great licensing deals if you know where to look.
How popular is this service? I don't hear anyone talking about it and it's such an obviously useful offering!!! Years ago I used to be a Citrix guy running large networks with thin clients out in the field where I witnessed the sheer power of this server-centric Windows solution, and this was nearly 25 years ago.
If I have software installed on Windows (say, Windows 10), can I install it on Windows 365? For example, Matlab, Anaconda, Cygwin (which can run X-windows on top of Windows), etc.? What about running VMware or VMware-like software like VirtualBox or Docker daemons and servers? Or software that controls multiple cores, like Spark (or PySpark)?
Configuring anything MS related on the backend is needlessly arcane and complex compared to competitor solutions. Bugs, quirks, incompatibilities, poor documentation, sluggish/poor UX and UI, very long wait times for policy updates (1-24 hrs), etc. The only reason one would go with many MS solutions is because they’re included in some of the large SKUs. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to explain that the MS solution is so bad that we have to buy a redundant service from a competitor.
Thanks for watching - and Andy for the invite!
Thanks for the session Andy en bedankt Christiaan. Top!
What a great video, I'm currently working on a Windows 365 project for my organization. Excellent content! Thanks!
I feel like a skyrocketing in costs for companies adopting all of these offers

Minute 7:19, comparison table between Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop, excellent idea ;-)
My only problem I’ve always have with VDI they are really expensive monthly and slow at the basic level.

I'm finishing poc for w365 enterprise with avn and hybrid join with 4x16 VMs... It looks like it'll replace horizon DaaS nicely.
how to configure Hybrid and Cloud network for Windows 365 PC's it requires Azure portal?
No that AVD. This uses the brine portal
Really cool the fact that you can use your phone: no more physical laptop 😅😅😅
