I have newspapers on bottom of my budgies cage too. That's great bcos not only we can throw it out & change it again & again.... it is also BETTER FOR THEIR FEET....cos the cage metal- isn't good for them to walk on for too long. You did great also with the background scenery wallpaper for them😊 I place my budgie's cage (3feet from a window) to receive some sunlight....and has a blind to control the amount of light & heat that comes through. They seem happier when they have (natural light & scenery) to look at. ⛅🌳🌲🌻🌷
i have to budgies both the same colours :D , their out of the cage 24/7, they go in the cage for food and water and bed time. I dont even need to close the cage :D and i have 2 sheets of paper down where they hang out by the 2 windows, just incase they poop alot :D
Sounds like the way I keep mine too. I love to give them as much Freedom🕊🕊 as they need for their mental well-being. The only time I let them back in & close their door is when I'm leaving home.😇 And my budgies enjoy eating out too.... even though they already hve their food inside the cage.
They sound beautiful, sounds like they are singing “joy”. I love this with the running water. So peaceful
