@@cryder00 Hi, Will someone please tell the owner of Cookie to have his nails trimmed? It looks darned painful for him walking around on that dry erase board, and Cookie obviously just wants to please his owner/caretaker. At least putting sandpaper coverings, which are so easy to get through any pet store, on some of his perches might help. It seems that sometimes owners of animals only think of their pets as "accessories" or show pieces, and don't think of their welfare and feelings. He sure is a cute bird, but I think if he's that tame the owner could at least think of putting him in a travel carrier or cage and taking him to an avian vet to have the nails clipped. Obviously the bird wants to please its owner. Why doesn't the owner want to care for the bird's welfare? Things that make you go "Hmmm".

32:08 I am concerned about his nails needing trimmed; the nail is twisting. Cookie is adorable and I love the GO play pieces idea. Good to see him having a fun time. Also want to mention that surface he is walking on is a white board also known as a dry erase board, the dry erase marks on the board are coming off onto his feet and could be toxic to him when he cleans his feet.

Needs a friend! a mirror or a human will not replace another bird, the parakeet has to be with other parakeets and not alone.
I see moult as a sign of that. They tend to stay longer in moult, when they're alone and can't socialize
My little Lulu small white parakeet loves Alan and Cookie. When she hears Alan's voice, she either goes on her phone or right up to TV. I think I she has a crush on him.
