Very sadly Bobbie passed away at the vets after having claws and beak trimmed. She had a fit and suddenly died. Her time was up but it doesn’t make it any easier to bear. Still grieving.

My budgie is an old lady (10 years), who lost her partner some years ago. She doesn´t seem to feel lonely, because I´m often with her and she can see a lot of wild birds, coming to the feeding stations in front of the window. But sometimes I play the budgie-sounds to her, so that she doesn´t forget her "native language"😉. She likes it!!! Thank you!

I don't know my dad forgot to bring the cage inside and yesterday was a big wind the cage fell and then Yellow Escaped Now My Blue Budgie is all alone...
I once had a blue cage with Australian finches and there was a cat my brother put the birds outside there was 4 in the cage a cat came and my dad threw a rock but accidentally came on the birds and the top 2 escaped 1 black 1 white.
And when my dad was cleaning budgies he left one food thing open and one of my yellow budgie escaped that left my other yellow budgie sad but we got him a blue budgie

I had my little guy for over 9 years. When he died it broke my heart.
I can sympathize with it - my budgie was almost 11 years old.I spent my childhood, adolescence and part of it with him and a part My Adult-Age spent! ( He came to us on December 7th 1959 and said goodbye on September 25th 1970. Forever in my heart !!! !!! !!! 😢💖💖💖🙏💐🤗Thank you very much for the wonderful time in my life !!! 🎼🎶💖

One of our pair died yesterday. Out little guy is so sad. I played some calming music for him last night to go to sleep.
I started playing the video and he looked around. He now has his head tucked in like he is sleeping. 😢 It is so sad.

It never fails to amaze me the colours budgies have changed into since people found them in Australia. They're all green here. Now look at what you see.
in this video you can just see some of the Colours, when you search on the web, you can finde like any Colour, pink, red, blue, complet white, orange.
@@phil5910 Yes that's right, but all wild budgies come from Australia, millions of them and they're all green in the wild. Man has changed them into different colours.
Its a bit like our pet dogs, they're all from the wolf family. You would never believe poodles came from wolves a few hundred years ago, but they did.

My brand new budgie is so new I can't even put my hand on the cage without it running away but as soon as I splayed this vid, he went nuts trying to get to the tablet screen. I also got a chirp from him in this vid

It's so cruel to have just a few of them in a cage to be honest. I bought 2 yesterday and they go nuts when they hear budgie noices. They want to be free and fly around with their friends.
Parrots always react when they heard similar sounds of them I always recorded mine and then play infront of them and they start chirping

This somehow came up on my phone while I was on another app. So I listened for a bit. My cats were looking at me funny.
Several of the budgies are talking well! Do you teach them when they are caged separately? My show birds got extra teaching when they were separated while being prepared for shows. I was a cussed young girl and made sure all my female birds talked well, especially at shows where people would say "you can't teach a female budgie to talk! It's difficult teaching birds in groups as you can't get their attention! Yes, I'm a cussed old girl now! ;0)

I turned this video on for absolutely no reason. But once on I was sleeping in seconds. That was the best sleep I had in a few years. Can you make an 8 hour one? And set up donations for the 8 hour one because some of us would actually pay to get a good 8 hours of sleep without any seditive, just bird noise.

my budgie just recently lost his buddy so i play these videos for him and he gets so exited he wants to come out and play.
Doesn't this make them more sad, if they are chirping back but not getting a respond? like they are getting ignored.
I don't know is that right cuze I don't whant then to be more sad
This is why when you get Budgie you get them in pair … using this sound it makes them relaxed and they chirp to each other

I have a female parakeet that I adopted, so I don't know her age. Her crest was blue but changed color to a brown and she has laid eggs. My main question is she seems comfortable with me on the outside of cage and doesn't want my hand anywhere near her. I give her suet and it takes her over 20 minutes to Warm up to eat any seed from it. I know I got scared of her one time which scared her. I've had her for over a year. Will she always be like this?

My mum used to chat to her budgie every waking hour of the day, no once in a while for her little birds. Now I'm retired, I chat to mine every waking hour. The only break they receive from my chat is when they sit in front of my phone watching videos of budgies, like this one. Lovely little dog. 🤗
