Thank you for this video. I have a male parakeet who just lost his mate. I'm concern about what I need to be do to help him though his grief. I hope playing video like this will help some.
I have a male rosie bourke who suffered the same thing, I have had him a month tomorrow, and he is coming out of his shell remarkably quickly. I have sat by him every day, and he has made the left front corner of the cage where I sit, his home base. He will take food from my fingers, and chirps happily all day. He loves music. Bach& reggae seem to be his faves.
