I encountered this yesterday on a flight. The plane had adjusted head rests on the seat and the neck pillow was the just too much and pushed my head forward very uncomfortably. I did try it backwards and it worked better, but I couldn't wear my earbuds as it hurt my ears and pushed them out of my ears
These should have been tested while sitting in an airplane seat. The high headrest can make your head jut forward when you have a pillow on that's thick in the back
