What a great song and video! Seeing a sad and pensive Mori together with the lyrics is just so poignant and heartbreaking. I presume this song is about her broken relationship with her father. I don't know the details but I hope that someday they reconcile. Also, can we give Dave props for his video production? He is outstanding!

I am relating this song my story with this guy that I met during pandemic we were good together and then suddenly decided to go separate way and after all of these years it's still him that I want and wish every night. I took it from the perspective of someone always been liked but never pursued. Mori, brave of you to take this off-the-beaten (career) path (for a Filipino singer, at least). From "hear HOW I'm singing and hear what I'm singing" (the early covers and interpretations) to "hear WHAT I'm singing and hear how I'm singing" (the "Signature" songs) to "just listen to WHAT I'm singing" (the "From The Sea" songs and the last 3 collaborations (with Sponge Cola, Greg Gould and Ferdinand Aragon) and this new track (and album, perhaps?)). I'm aware that you're aware that you're losing fans (especially the majority of Filipino fans who love the "bells and whistles" style of singing) but I'm also aware that you're aware that whoever remains are the REAL ones. Keep doing YOU, and keep on keeping on! Onward, my Queen! We're right here behind you...
