I feel like the fence vegetation should have just been trimmed into a nice hedge. If you can't completely remove the bushes from the fence line, why hack them back into ugly stumps?
I love when you eliminate the "wild tree weeds," it really makes the place look bigger...I don't think I have seen a home with such small access to the backyard...did not look like you would have been able to get your mower back there even if the gate did open...angles. If the front yard was that bad, I can only image how bad the back yard will be since you were unable to get to it. But, you made an amazing transformation to the front yard and I'm sure the neighbors appreciate your 💛of gold doing those improvements to the neighborhood. Now the folks can safely walk down the sidewalks again without fear of loosing an eye from all the brush.

It is sad the lawn had gotten overgrown like it was, and over the windows too. The deceased woman probably would be sad if she knew. She probably would be happy all the work you did though. I hope a family will get to live in the house some day, and make it a home again. It really looks nice all the work you did!
The aerial view clearly shows that left side ( as you're facing the house) is ruining the fence because it was already bent. I first thought it was pretty sturdy but then I could see what you were talking about! It was a freaking jungle in that place! Excellent job SB!😊

Normally he just dumps everything in the backyards creating a bigger mess, but he never shows that. If they are wanting the city to pick it up, the poor neighbors are in for a long wait. This is why Spencer gets trashed in some of the other videos.
I use a Sawzall or handheld chain saw to cut the volunteer trees, grapevines, etc, off as low to the ground as I can. Then I work on getting out the remnants when I can. I can't afford a new fence. You do wonderful work! What a transformation.
