Local fresh seafood, this is a must for me if I am visiting a new place. This restaurant is very small but unique! With 2 Michelin star, their dishes must be mind-blowing to say the least.
This is seafood at its best. Not sure what makes you think he didn’t enjoy it. Not many places on earth where you get this level of fresh seafood. Million times better than those deep fried seafood platters you get in the US.
Wow, Hiro San..... What a humble man to watch another great chef try to take the raw tail meat out by cutting the tail in half, knowing you can do something hard like that very easily.
Nice seafood!! I'll bet that stuff is very tasty. It also looks like it get to around 20 degrees below in the winter, I think you guys picked the right time of year to visit.
4:06 what are these called? I couldn’t understand the gentlemen. I would love to see bluegabe or deermeatfordinner CCC these in a video with this guy!!!
It's Chef H I R O. Hiro-San. San indicates: respected, honored, trusted friend or business partner in the formal Japanese culture. The taste of koks..yummmm
Y r u gae?
Hiro is happy! Look at that smile while he’s eating 😂
From Hiro's facial expressions I do not think he was favorably impressed. None the less he was a good guest.
A two star restaurant called Koks is suspect.

That is ridiculous how they store there food on a Jetti, like a supermarket. Just amazing
Agreed. I’ve never seen anything like it. Amazing is the right word.
Also amazing that apparently parasites don't seem to exist there? Are you not supposed to wash the meat before consuming it?
Wow, Hiro San..... What a humble man to watch another great chef try to take the raw tail meat out by cutting the tail in half, knowing you can do something hard like that very easily.
they are both pros in their own kind
Fresh seafood always good! No doubts

A crossover i never expected. Thank you!
This is a very simple to cook a good food from such ingredients ))
Other than the really dull knife and the lack of cleanliness of the cutting board, It was an awesome video
I wouldn’t enjoy consuming any of these raw. But I did enjoy their preparation. 👍
Thanks so much for sharing this. It's awesome. I hope you and your cameraman, Charles, have a good afternoon. Cheers, Chef Hiro!
It's a real shame it's not one seafood per person. Everyone has to share :(
We..em..git..em..all of our seafood..em. French is such a beautiful language.
Holy crap this place is so beautiful! I wish I can visit soon!
Hiro wanted to hurl after the shrimp. Hahahahahaha
It seems reeealy tasty. Okay, going cook noodles 🙂👍🏻

just amazing!!! 🙌
Fascinating an looks wonderful
Were you ever on Antony Bourdain show?
Didn't realize I Was drolling, had to change my pillow by the end of the video
Hiro gives zero fuks and just dives right in when he sees raw food. Lolll
Can you eat the claws of the shrimp/lobster? or whatever that critter is.
This guy has the finesse of a semi trailer
Shouldve brought a towel to wipe that cutting board every now and then.
The chef doesnt have that much knife skill like Hiro but definitely top notch seafood.
The knife work he does do needs to very delicate, since the things he's cutting up are really small. So I think he's doing pretty good.
This was as entertaining as it was educational
It so very yummy seafood off that , we have many in Philliphines fresh seafood 😂 😂 😂
Great job!!
Why those urchin don't sting him? Are there only certain ones that stings only?
"Koks" stands for cocain in germany. Thats kinda funny hehe
The best seafood comes from the coldest waters

If this dude is 2 stars, hiro must be a 10 star?
I wish to be reborn as a clam.

ah raw shrimp! i'm jealous!!!
Michelin stars but no towel to keep that board clean. Can't imagine what was going through Hiro san's mind

Good afternoon!

I'M SO JELOUS , I WISH I WAS THERE 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
My spine hates it when he rubs the knife against the board
Who ever ate the first spiny thing must have been pretty damn hungry!!!
That's Uni, or sea urchin. Tastes heavenly if you get a fresh and sweet one like they did.
@@paradigmshift7 Yup they are a creamy sweet taste when it is fresh, that's why the Sea Otters love them.. haha
WOW amazing cooking skills.... kills animal, gives raw food.
