I’m actually surprised that they didn’t include that daily briefing with Josh here. It adds a touch of irony to C. J. mentioning that she was to bring him in as backup to Toby, particularly given what Toby was about to say.
"I don't care! You're part of my family and this thing is happening and I simply won't permit it." Thats why his staff would do anything for President Bartlet.
I just finished binging the whole show. Painful. Amazing writing. I cannot even imagine the trolls of our reality coming close to the caliber of past administration's. I experienced many legislators offices in a yearly trip to DC for my Union. Even then Senator Biden's office. I hope this 4 years go by quickly 😡
I always loved how Sheen put his jackets on. Never seen another human do it that way. Wonder if it was a Sheen trait or something the producers came up with?
@@BTBEV3469 Because of a birth defect in Mr Sheen's left arm, he has very little lateral movement in that arm. As a child, he taught himself to put his jacket on like that, as it's the only way he can fit both arms in a jacket or coat by himself. Also because of the birth defect (caused by forceps) his left arm is shorter than his right arm. You will notice it especially when he sits with his arms resting on armrests - one shoulder is lower than the other.
@@BTBEV3469, Martin Sheen suffered a permanent disability when he was born that limits the motion of one of his shoulders. He developed that method long ago and made it part of Bartlett's character.
Like if you're still waiting on Josh to produce a secret plan to fight inflation.
Yep, because the incoming administration has no F’ing Idea how to do that. And that is real life, not TV.

One of the greatest shows ever!
I will never forgive MAX for taking the west wing off streaming!!!
"Well, thanks for trying, but here I am anyway. Gotta go." - still one of my favorite lines in the entire series. Completely defuses the guy.
Ron Butterfield does so much with very little. Even the way he switches eye contact from CJ to Pres. Bartlett at 19:11 communicates so much.
RIP John Amos
I love west wing❤
The West wing is an extremely amazing show the characters are all amazing
We still all want to know about the carpet…
The carpet is reversable.
Still have not seen anything quite as good on TV Yet or since
Same

"Gotta go!" 🤣
MAX just stopped streaming West Wing 😭😭😭
How does the carpet get changed at 9:00 ?
The carpet is reversable.
It doesn't, it's an urban legend.

We can only hope Lorraine, we can only hope.
CJ Craig in Ramallah, swinging her purse....that's just asking for an AI generated image.
45:19 how many takes? I mean CJ ducked perfectly.
Supposedly, this was completely unintentional (someone was walking too close maybe?) and it made it into the final version!
