I think Australia needs to adopt New Zealand's way of playing rugby which is by weight. It also helps mould the player in over coming their fear of playing older age groups as they are exposed to players more their height and weight even if they are a year or two younger. I truly believe this is why NZ has been so dominant in rugby over the years because the talent pool of players are highly skilled and well on the way to peaking during and after highschool.

Because another race has become more dominant now than 15-20 years ago so rules need to be changed, tbh that’s crazy if you are too scared for your child to get hurt playing a contact sport put them in soccer, touch footy or something else. Would it be fair to change the rules of basketball so a 10year old at 1.65m plays with a 13-14year olds at 1.65m ?

EDIT: Everyone who replied to my comment apparently is a dumbass or just didn’t understand the context I was speaking in. I’m not questioning that this kid is crying because he’s passionate about the sport he plays. I believe that he is 11 and don’t think it’s right to say he can’t play. I’m saying…
IF YOU ARE AWARE THAT YOU ARE CHEATING THEN YOU WOULDN’T CRY FOR BEING CALLED OUT. PLAYING BELOW YOUR AGE LEVEL IS CHEATING.
12 playing with an 11 year old is normal but if you’re 13+ with 5 inches and 40lbs over everyone then yea man that’s clearly cheating. I’m pretty sure Rugby isn’t Wrestling so there are no weight classes. But for a bigger kid who happens to be a couple years older than his competition can legit hurt another kid. Let’s not pretend.

It seems like a safety issue with the kid being under 18 and being bigger and stronger then his teams that legally he can't play if a kid gets injured then the club and the firm incontrol would legally be accountable for other kids deaths or injuries..
The kid will just have to find another team which I highly doubt, play privately at home with friends, or wait until he's 18 and legally allowed to play with others.. 😃 hope that helped

But is he really the age being claimed? This has been a problem lately, refugees claiming to be younger then they actually are, I'm not making it up, there's been hundreds of cases all across the nation. Paperwork can take a long time to actually process or getting paperwork can be almost impossible in some cases. Not even 3 weeks ago 3 blokes were exposed as being 19 and playing with the 13-14 ago league, they were using fake paperwork, they had already played 1/3 of the season and when questions started getting raised activists took up the cause, then their true identities came about and suddenly it all went away and got swept under the rug. I'm not saying that's the case here, if the kid is really 11 then obviously it's wrong and horrible but you have to have all the facts before judging something.

One the smaller kids learn nothing just that size matters which is already a known thing that's why they have age groups and weight classes in combat sports. The bigger kid learns nothing and is never challenged meaning he's wasting his time. Your view of equality = same size is wrong. If that were the case then any boxer that weighs 147lbs should be able to beat Floyd Mayweather but that's not how it works. There are skill gaps size isn't skill it's just size. Size allows you to overpower skill which is why you don't see Francis Ngannou 265lbs fighting against Demetrius Johnson 135lbs.
