Yes, like you said at the end, Rawbutt Girlyman should swallow his pride and team up with the other factions and fight together. Because the tyranids are only going to get stronger and smarter the longer this goes on. Too scary those bugs. Too fkin scary i say. 😖
@@Apache-Helicopter the bugs scares me too. I've been thinking about them a lot lately. Cooperate or perish. Humans, Eldar, Tau, Votann, Necron, Orks, heck even the Chaos scums should work together and get rid of these vile and voracious bugs.

Honestly if you go be them enough time, you can do it with just the Necrons, Orks and Tau. The Necrons would put in the lion's share of the work in keeping the Tyranids occupied and killing them at a distance and denying them potential resources in naval combat and outside the main galaxy, while the Orks would be deployed in select theaters to gradually grow back into Krork levels from fighting the Nids, while the Tau would provide support and be more active on the "homefront" by taking the data of battles and learning/developing new ways and weapons to more effectively counter the strengths of the Tyranids. Give them a few millennia, and the galaxy should have a decent chance.
This is of course assuming that any outside factors don't screw things over first, so ideally Chaos would be dealt with and the Warp becalmed by the completion of the Necron nodal matrices, though not to the extent that it hampers the ability of the Orks and eventually Krorks to be effective. The Eldar could be pretty helpful with their ability to use the Webway to conduct hit & run campaigns against the Tyranids and take out strategic synapse units. However, the alliance could still work without them.
In this hypothetical scenario, I don't think the Imperium would be of much strategic help to the protection of the galaxy, since the factions mentioned previously all have the capacity to make much more of the resources of a battlefield than the Imperium if given enough time, and Imperial worlds would give the Tyranids the most amount of biomass and resources if defeated compared to any of the other factions. At best they would be a sacrificial asset that would distract the attentions of the Tyranids while the alliance is busy getting their shit together and optimizing.

Many an adult has a day job where we can't slyly watch videos. Also, I have heard a lot of report that RUclips plays favourites. Doesn't matter the content or the politics - big bases, corporate interests especially. Older channels that fail to reach a certain threshold tend to get less support.
My first model ever was a pewter, third edition biovore with the accompanying spore mines.
Been nearly two decades since then, but tyranid artillery still holds a special place in my heart.

As an aside, Szarekh! Oh, he's very unlikely to parlay. It isn't his wont, sadly. His Pariah Nexus faffings take up more of his time than I think he cares to notice. Mayhaps his chrono-engrams were the only cost spared in his brilliantly shiny head. At the least, you have me at hand. Every hivefleet I capture is an entire zoo to add to my collection! If there's some new creepy cosmic crawly, give me a shout!

I'd guess that the "safest" position to be in when engaging the Tyranids nowadays is that of a Necron fleet engaging at extreme range. Specifically one that is engaging in an attack or harassment rile and not a defensive one, so they can just keep their distance and whittle away at the Hive Fleet indefinitely.
It's 1am and my brain had an idea after hearing your prose at the end about the need for an alliance if the universe is ever to stand a chance. It gave me the idea for just that. An alliance of renegades, of outcasts, of the hopeful.
Drawn together by the state of the galaxy, a fleet has formed. Humans, Votann, T'au and even Aeldari. They have seen the light, that their are evils greater than anything they could ever inflict on each other. The Tyranid fleets, the daemons of the warp, these are greater threats than any mere political or cultural ideology, such things mean nothing in the face of utter entropy.
So, declared at best fools, at worst traitors by their own people, a grand fleet is marshalling, one that will rage against the dying of the light and welcome all unto it's banners. Even Orkish freebooters stand with them, following the promise of "The fight to end all fights". In the grim darkness of the Forty First Millennium, there is a spark of hope.
I really want to see if I could make this idea work.

Necrons is likely the only race that would not care too much, if Tyranids invaded the galaxy.
Necron could live in space or on barren planets, that the Tyranids would not invade.
And even if they did Necrons could just sterilize a planet they was standing on over and over again, they would not be harmed.

I always thought I'd be cool if the tyranids had personality almost human , with warrior est body language , I mean they in theory eat space marines and humans, shouldn't they after eating worlds have that as a bi product ?

Orks are brainless mad nutters who don't really think, the Aeldari are unreadable let alone untrustworthy, and as for the Necron's who really has a clue which way they will go, they can barely talk to each other. This does open up all sorts of juicy avenues for discussion and as for producing new story lines I do believe our liege has come up with a belter!! Bravo sir!! Well played lol. I just thought of a neat little something, we know the forces of the Milky Way galaxy must unite to stand a chance at fending off the Great Devourer, this can not be questioned, but when I see people talk about who will bring about this grand alliance everyone seems to send their eyes to the same three options: The Silent King, Guilliman, and Yvraine. None unexpected options as they have all shown the pragmatism to accept cooperation in the past yet I see less obvious but all the more interesting trio who will get the ball rolling as it were: Lion el Johnson, Farsight, and Ghazkull. Or perhaps even both of this triarchies could form independently of one another each building a great alliance in their own right that eventually join together as one to finally excise the foul parasite gods polluting the Warp and drive the extra-galactic predators back into the darkness from whence they came, and with that we can get the End Times 40K honestly deserves not one of suffering and of galactic domination where all other factions are crushed under a victor's boot and destroyed but where there is a clear sign that even after this age of incomparable pain and suffering there is still hope that the future just might be bright after all. I think we can all agree with each passing year it feels like we need something like that more and more.

I wish the shooting organisms were actually useful on the table top. The hive guard are never used anymore, and more often than not, melee is used for the bugs. I like to play a variant of hive fleet Kronos, but it really isn't all that effective, and I have to resort to just flooding the field with gaunt variants. This only works until they have anti-infantry units or armor.
I still feel that the bonuses the hive tyrant/swarm lord gives to a unit should be given to everything in synapse.
