    12:37 Car price example I did not get how price decrease with increase in mileage (From graph not from formula) ?

    • @HimanshuKumar-cq8zq
      @HimanshuKumar-cq8zq 5 лет назад

      Look at carefully in the graph if mileage(x) increases, price (y) is decreasing over time. See the straight line carefully

    • @rohitbale15
      @rohitbale15 5 лет назад

      Ya i had the same doubt too.
      It would be meaningful if the arrow over x-axis is reversed.

    • @rohitbale15
      @rohitbale15 5 лет назад

      @@HimanshuKumar-cq8zq Ya we inferred same from that graph, but that wasn't logical. With increase in mileage the price of the car should also go high.

    • @premangraithatha8273

    • @lokeshwarb8266

      BR-UH .....
      Definition of Mileage :- a number of miles travelled or covered. (Refer Google)
      So naturally if a car has a higher mileage it's value is reduced.

  • @mandeeprathee7498
    @mandeeprathee7498 5 лет назад

    Mam i have a doubt. In regression there is a graph for predicting price of used car, mileage Vs price. If mileage is low then how price is high ?? Similarly if mileage is high then how can price be low ?

    • @siddhantrai7613
      @siddhantrai7613 5 лет назад

      Mileage of car decreases with time....and as the car is having low mileage.... It means it has been used for a long period of time....and its pretty obvious that something that is been used a lot will cost very less as compared to the car with more mileage as it is less used(thus more efficient).
      I hope you got the point😇😇😇

    • @srivatsanr1976
      @srivatsanr1976 5 лет назад +2

      By mileage one means the actual distance run by the car and NOT mileage as is casually referred to (i.e. NOT avg distance in kms per liter of fuel). This makes it self explanatory.

      @@willsprip7804 Well, um... Then why are you here anyways?
      Personally, it makes sense to me and I'm still a student, so either
      1) you yourself have an issue with learning or
      2) despite your job, you have nothing better to do than nitpick at a free online resource made for people with far less experience than you.
      And lemme tell you, neither of those two options say anything good about you.
